About: I grew up with my beloved dog Molly, and animals have been part of my life ever since. I truly believe dogs and cats can sense energy — and I’ve always felt a natural, calm connection with them. When your pet stays with me, they’re not just being watched — they’re treated like they’re visiting their favorite cool aunt’s house: safe, loved, understood… and maybe just a little spoiled 🤭(with your permission, of course). As much as I adore animals, I also deeply understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them. It’s not just cuddles and cute moments — it’s structure, patience, routine, and safety. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to fully trust the person caring for your fur baby. I am comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and different temperaments. I can follow structured routines, feeding schedules, and administer basic medications if needed. I pay close attention to behavior changes and body language to make sure your pet feels safe and understood. My schedule is currently very flexible, as I work from home as a freelance architect. This allows me to be fully present, attentive, and available throughout the day. I’m a morning person and available starting at 7am, seven days a week. My husband Alan occasionally helps with transportation and additional support when needed. He is also a true animal lover, and together we make sure your pet receives consistent and attentive care. We often joke that we become the “second mom and dad” to the dogs we care for. Whenever possible, we genuinely enjoy spending time with them together — making sure they feel safe, loved, and at home. Your pet’s safety and emotional comfort are my top priorities. I’m available to provide care in your home or at a location that best suits your pet’s routine and comfort. In your home, I respect your space and your pet’s established routine. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any specific guidelines you provide. I make sure doors, gates, and windows are always secure, and I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and overall well-being.

She was accommodating as well. One evening my class went overtime. She had no problem keeping my boys until I could be there. She communicated by text to let me know how they were doing each day. She allowed us to visit before our appointed time so my dogs could be introduced to her dogs. Danielle was wonderful! I highly recommend her!!”

My shy girl, Clover even snuggled and took a nap at her house! AMAZING sitter, highly recommend Deb. She has a house designed for pups and a beautiful, peaceful and huge backyard. She's home most of the time and just treats your dogs with genuine love and sweetness. I am moving too far to use her services again, but sad to say so, because our experience with her was just absolutely perfect. There may be sitters in the Battle Creek area that charge less, but having tried them with very mixed results - I assure you Deb is worth every penny!”

About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. I also provide optional training for dogs. I have five years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume multi-species setting. With this, I have gained the knowledge, training, and experience in animal behavior as well as proper technique in safe animal hold, administering all forms of medication, administering emergency fluids, and animal CPR. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! I offer basic puppy training during board and day stays, including potty and crate training. I will gladly accept shark puppies, understanding completely how difficult these pups can be for many caretakers who are not experienced in their breed characteristics. I've worked with and owned dogs for over 17 years. I have a preference for high energy/high drive dogs, though I love all of them just the same. I am a farm mom of school aged children, work remotely, a full-time online student at KCC while my kids sleep, and have plenty of time to devote to your pets. I will follow strict biosecurity and safety measures. I am by no means a "doggy playcare". For their and my safety, I do not allow guest pups to interact together. I have sectioned off portions of my home and large basement for roam, and utilize sanitized in-home kennels for overnight and unattended times as well as movement of guests (inside, outside, walks, etc). I currently have full availability outside of school drop-off in the mornings and flexible pick-ups in the afternoon. I spend my free time caring for my own animals and attending online classes and seminars! I have a knack for social cues and when and how to approach. Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.

About: I have worked with elder dogs and puppies for many years as I have volunteered at cascades for 3+ years while also having pets of my own. I have been around all kinds of dogs including aggressive ones, extreme anxiety and other health issues. I am very experienced with dogs and I am extremely patient as that’s all they need sometimes. I can help get your pet into shape or just be super patient to get them to go potty. I’m here for it all and ready to help you and your pet! My home has setup for your furry friends to be safe! I have baby proofed my house to the max and your puppy or older friend will be watched 100% of the time and let out to potty whenever they need. They will have friends to play with and when it’s warm I have a kiddie pool out for them to play in I am a stay at home dog mom so I am home 27/7 and I simply do this for my love of dogs and to help you out! I love having furry friends in the home and my two dogs are social and outgoing ! My home is very clean and I have a 9ft fence in my backyard so your pet is safe in my home and outside. I am home all day and have cameras all over my house so I am able to have eyes on your pets at all times! I never overcrowd my home so your pet will be safe and in comfortable conditions!

About: I’ve been taking care of pups and cats since I was around 14 years old! Since then, I’ve had multiple repeated clients and have gained so much experience over the years. I’ve worked with small dogs, larger dogs, and multiple breeds of cats! I know that I can provide the right care and plenty of love for your pet when you’re away. I don’t work more than 9 hours a day and I have multiple breaks in between to stop by and care for my clients’ pets. For dog boarding, I have a house which has a big area for running and/or potty breaks. I also don’t mind if the dog/cat sleeps in the bed with me! Due to new advances in my career, I can only provide drop-in visits, walks, and daycare between the hours of 4pm-6am the following day. For boarding, I can do Fridays after 4pm up until Monday mornings at 6am. For cat boarding, I can board any day/any time(depending on your hourly care preference). Currently, I only care for my cat, Bugs. I take care of his hygiene and play with him constantly. He’s always doing something with me when I’m around. He’s never bored! I will always keep an eye on your pet to ensure their safety. Whether it’s at my home or yours, I will create and maintain the safest environment.
