When we went to Rodney's house for the Meet&Greet, we were quickly relieved to see that he truly is a "Dog-Person". We were greeted by Izzy, the Pomeranian, and Clifford, the Big Red Dog. Our pack of three Boxers were scrutinized by these two "Greeters" and were given the thumbs-up. Our dogs became instant members of Rodney's pack of three Golden Retrievers and two Pomeranians. “Sarah is very good with animals. She has both dogs and cats at her home, but the cats have their own room. Thus, if your animal is not a fan of cats, there is no need to be concerned. dogs were happy to stay there, and they had a great time playing with her dogs. We will definitely use her again because she is closer than our other dog sitter, and our dogs are happy!”

They showed him excellent care, provided frequent pictures, allowed him to socialize (as best he could) with other dogs, and their rural farm property provided unending new interesting things for him to sniff both in their large back yard and on their "pack walks". Would definitely consider boarding Moose with them again!”

About: My husband and I have had our own dogs for 14 years. In 2023 we moved into our forever home, after a year of renovating an 1883 farmhouse with 8-acres. At that time we started to watch our friends dogs when they went on vacation. Our current lab Brucer lost his brother (Beau -lab) early in 2023 and we noticed how much he enjoys playing with the dogs we watch. We are not ready to commit to having 2 dogs of our own again, but we have enjoyed watching others dogs and most importantly Brucer has enjoyed having friends to play with! Our dog and 2 barn cats are part of our daily routine. We feed them together every morning and evening. Given that we live on 8 remote acres our lab often goes outside to lay in the front yard or wander out back. We will also take him on walks. Our lab comes with us when we go up north during the summer or when we visit our parents. One of us (my husband or I) are home Friday-Monday. We work away from the house Tuesday-Thursday. There are occasional days that I do work from home mid week (feel free to inquire if you want us home). We have 8 acres, part field, part wooded and we live on a dirt road. Our dog has learned to stay in the yard. We prefer to be able to provide your dog with full off leash time. However, we are able to do leashed walks as well.

“Brooke is Awesome and we are so Blessed to have found her for our Sparky !!!!! We have booked with her 5 times over the past year and the most recent trip Sparky stayed with Brooke for 13 nights. It is so comforting to know Sparky is loved and very well taken care of !!!! Sparky has separation anxiety but each time she stays with Brooke, Sparky adapts easier and quicker ?!!! Sparky's first couple stays with Brooke were doggy day care. When we booked Sparky's first overnights, Brooke was so very flexible and kind to agree to stay in our home overnight with Sparky for 2 nights and then transitioned Sparky to her home for the remaining 3 nights to help Sparky ease into staying away from home with her anxiety for the first time. With Brooke's help Sparky is a champ now and each drop off is easier !!!!! We are so Thankful for Brooke and her Family !!!!!!”
