“She was awesome, we rescued potentially a bait dog only a couple months ago, with a heart of gold but, we are still working through issues with her and at the last minute our Airbnb canceled and we weren't able to take her. I reached out to Brooklyn and she was available and I explained the situation and she was willing to take her, work with her where she was and still offer her grace. “This was my first experience leaving one of my dogs with a pet sitter. Before we would occasionally board our dogs with the vet. This was an excellent experience though and I prefer it over boarding with the vet. Rodney was great with my 2 1/2 month old puppy. His dogs, especially Murphy, played so well with Leroy. My little guy loves that big golden retriever. My puppy also came back a few lbs heavier and a bit taller, showing he was well cared for the whole time. When I wasn't going to be back in town until a bit later, Rodney was very accommodating about allowing my mum and sister to pick up the puppy for me. Overall it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend him.”

About: Dogs have always been a part of our family, and caring for them is something we genuinely love. Over the past 15 years, we’ve shared our home with four dogs, including caring for three into their senior years through age-related and chronic health conditions. We’ve also raised a litter of puppies, giving us experience with young dogs and the extra patience, attention, and consistency they require. Because I work from home, your dog will receive plenty of supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day instead of being left alone for long periods. We have a fully private fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and our three dog-loving children have been raised to be gentle and respectful with animals. While we’re not looking to add another dog to our family permanently, we’d love to open our home to yours. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, family environment where every dog feels comfortable, cared for, and right at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, allowing me to be present with the dogs throughout the day. Potty breaks, outdoor play, walks (if requested), feeding, medication, and plenty of affection are all easily incorporated into my schedule. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, so they won’t just be supervised—they’ll be part of our family’s day. Whether your pup loves to play, relax, or simply be near people, they’ll receive plenty of attention, companionship, and love while they’re with us. I also make it a priority to keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well cared for during their stay. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. Because I work from home, your pet will have supervision and companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for extended periods. I take the time to learn each dog’s individual routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions, so they can maintain the routine they’re used to at home. Our home has a fully private fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and all dogs are monitored while outside. I believe every dog deserves patience, kindness, and plenty of affection, and I treat each guest as if they were one of my own. I also understand that every dog has a different personality, so I take introductions slowly and always prioritize a calm, low-stress environment. Throughout your dog’s stay, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, loved, and having a great time.
