“Shadow has stayed with Brooke several times over the Summer. The most recent was this past weekend when I had an unexpected death in my family. Brooke and her husband, Ben, have told us that they enjoy having him, and they were very kind to take him without much notice this time. When I dropped Shadow off, Ben came out on the porch and Shadow ran right to him with his tail wagging! This was a great testimony from Shadow because he sometimes wants nothing to do with other men. When Brooke sends pictures of Shadow stretched out, relaxed and happy on their living room floor, I know that he is feeling extremely comfortable and happy. This always means so much, particularly this weekend when I was dealing with a very stressful family situation. I know that Shadow is always getting the best care and a lot of love from Brooke, Ben and Tobi and Buddy. He is actually going back again in a couple of days for a 5-day stay that has been planned for a while. Once again I will be able to feel relaxed and not worry about him while I'm gone. About: I have always had a pet growing up and all of my adult life. Currently I have 2 dogs and they are our family. I enjoy the play time the walks and teaching basic skills. About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. If you need me to do a drop in visit, my hours for availability are in the air for the next couple of weeks until I am given my new works hours.
About: I've had different dogs in the house for my whole life. As a kid my family brought dogs in for foster care. We've taken care of multiple dogs with disabilities, including deaf dogs and partially blind dogs. Dogs get along with me well and I'm good at getting shy dogs to warm up to me. About: I’ve owned multiple dogs my whole life, from our current German Shepherd and Siberian Husky to the two pugs we adopted when I was in high school to the lovey dog we found as a kid that we named Scooby-Doo because he looked just like him. I’ve helped care for all of them from walks around the block to feeding time to going outside just for potty and play time. I’ve also helped out a few friends with their dogs since high school while they were away. I’m currently a stay at home mom with a decently open schedule after my kids go to school in the morning and once my husband gets home from work during the week and am available during all hours of the weekend. If you are comfortable with your pets coming to my house I have two very friendly dogs who love play dates if your fur babies play well with others and a big back yard and a fenced in side yard for plenty of running around room or games of fetch. If I’m watching your dog(s) at your home I will follow whatever schedule you have for them on top of making time for play, walks and love so that they don’t feel neglected in any way while you are away. About: Taylor and I have both had animals our whole lives. We have taken care of a large varieties of animals.. cats, dogs, chickens, horses, even a bearded dragon! We are HUGE animal lovers!! We have experience with elderly animals, diabetics and so much more We run a small sourdough bakery out of our home and usually are attending events most weekends. About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

I have 4 rescues as well as a service pup, including a disabled rescue from an Afghanistan war zone so I’m more than willing to work with animals with special needs. I have a lot of experience from my own animals and have dog sitting experience as well. I am currently a student and due to the pandemic mostly work online so my availability is pretty open. As I have dogs of my own I would not be able to stay the night with your animal but will have at least 6-7 Hours a day to spend completely with your pup. Trained my dogs to do basic stuff within first couple days of having them and won't have a problem doing the same with yours if wanted. Open to any dates at any time of the day. “Shadow has stayed with Brooke several times over the Summer. The most recent was this past weekend when I had an unexpected death in my family. Brooke and her husband, Ben, have told us that they enjoy having him, and they were very kind to take him without much notice this time. When I dropped Shadow off, Ben came out on the porch and Shadow ran right to him with his tail wagging! This was a great testimony from Shadow because he sometimes wants nothing to do with other men. When Brooke sends pictures of Shadow stretched out, relaxed and happy on their living room floor, I know that he is feeling extremely comfortable and happy. This always means so much, particularly this weekend when I was dealing with a very stressful family situation. I know that Shadow is always getting the best care and a lot of love from Brooke, Ben and Tobi and Buddy. He is actually going back again in a couple of days for a 5-day stay that has been planned for a while. Once again I will be able to feel relaxed and not worry about him while I'm gone. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! I've owned and cared for a variety of pets over the years and have experience with animals of different ages, personalities, and care needs. One of the most rewarding parts of my pet-care journey has been fostering. I'm currently a pet care specialist and foster with Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) and have also fostered for other shelters in the past. Through fostering, I've cared for pets who were shy, energetic, recovering from medical procedures, learning social skills, or simply looking for a safe place to land before finding their forever homes. I also have two dogs who don't currently live with me, but I absolutely love spending time with them whenever I can. Whether it's long walks, outdoor adventures, or hiking local trails, I'm happiest when I have a furry companion by my side. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away.
