“I would have Christine watch our baby again. She was the first person to ever watch our baby. She took good care of Willie G and made sure we stayed informed of him and his daily activities. He was in a home with a very caring family. Christine made us feel at ease while we were gone. Pictures meant alot.”

“Very responsive to messages! I appreciated the pictures of our dog while they were there and could see how happy Coco was being there! Thank you again! An absolute pleasure and will definitely book again if needed!”

“We just picked up our dog from his second visit with Caroline. As soon as I pulled up to her house to drop him off, he was tugging at his leash to go inside. He has so much fun there and Caroline offers so much love, attention and care for all the dogs she watches. She sends lots of pictures/videos and makes us feel so safe when we have to be away from our dog. Will definitely book again!”

“Wow. This was our first experience with Rover and Rodney and we are so thankful to have found such a loving & FUN home for our dog when we are gone! Henry had a fantastic time playing with other dogs and being accepted for the puppy he is! To be honest, we were happy he wanted to come home with us! Lol! He was living his best life! Freedom outdoors in a fenced yard and so many dog friends to play with. He ate great which is a sign of happiness. I would give 10 ✨if I could. Rodney is a wonderful person! Thank you!”

“This was the longest we’ve ever left Jamaica with someone outside of family, and we didn’t have to worry at all. Just like on our shorter trips leading up to this one, she couldn’t wait to see Amber again—she ran right over and barely looked back at us! It’s clear she absolutely loves spending time with Amber, which gives us so much peace of mind. We’ll definitely continue booking with Amber for as long as she’s offering Rover services.”

“Jackie is very sweet and kind. She took wonderful care of Luna for 10 days while we were away. She was very responsive to messages and sent pictures to show us how Luna was doing. I'll definitely call on Jackie again in the future.”

“Crystal is the first rover sitter that kept both of my 7 month old puppies. I really appreciate the care that she showed towards my babies and would highly recommend and will request her again if she is available 🥰”

“Sara was fantastic! Milo had a great time and came back happy! She gave regular updates, kept him entertained. We will definitely use her again when we are in the area.”

About: Dogs have always been a part of our family, and caring for them is something we genuinely love. Over the past 15 years, we’ve shared our home with four dogs, including caring for three into their senior years through age-related and chronic health conditions. We’ve also raised a litter of puppies, giving us experience with young dogs and the extra patience, attention, and consistency they require. Because I work from home, your dog will receive plenty of supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day instead of being left alone for long periods. We have a fully private fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and our three dog-loving children have been raised to be gentle and respectful with animals. While we’re not looking to add another dog to our family permanently, we’d love to open our home to yours. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, family environment where every dog feels comfortable, cared for, and right at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, allowing me to be present with the dogs throughout the day. Potty breaks, outdoor play, walks (if requested), feeding, medication, and plenty of affection are all easily incorporated into my schedule. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, so they won’t just be supervised—they’ll be part of our family’s day. Whether your pup loves to play, relax, or simply be near people, they’ll receive plenty of attention, companionship, and love while they’re with us. I also make it a priority to keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well cared for during their stay. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. Because I work from home, your pet will have supervision and companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for extended periods. I take the time to learn each dog’s individual routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions, so they can maintain the routine they’re used to at home. Our home has a fully private fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and all dogs are monitored while outside. I believe every dog deserves patience, kindness, and plenty of affection, and I treat each guest as if they were one of my own. I also understand that every dog has a different personality, so I take introductions slowly and always prioritize a calm, low-stress environment. Throughout your dog’s stay, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, loved, and having a great time.

“Everything went very well. I will be taking Buttons to April again. It was his first overnight and it was 3 nights. I bet he didn't think I was coming back. He was strange the first night, but back to normal the next morning. Can't thank you enough April.”

“Great communication. Easy drop-off/pick-up. Dogs seemed to have a great time and were happy as can be when we got them back. Will definitely use Nicole again! Highly recommend.”

“Amazing environment. My dog has lots of room to run around as well as another playful dog so he was always active. Kimberly sent lots of pictures and my dog looked happy in every one of them.”

“Sarah is an exceptional pet sitter. She takes such good care of our senior dog and ensures he is comfortable. I appreciate her and will continue to utilize her services.”

“Excellent! This was the first time we left Max without a family member. Brooke and her husband took very good care of him and he was very happy. We will definitely use Brooke again!!!!”

“Kelly and Taylor did a great job caring for our beloved cats! We were very nervous since this is the first time we’ve left for a trip in years, but they reassured us with texts and photos and generally being very responsive. We will use them again!”

About: While I’m new to caring for other people’s cats, I share my home with two of my own—and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that cats have their own rules. I know how to give them space when they want it, attention when they ask for it, and how to spot the little signs that tell you something’s off. I’m not just a sitter—I’m a fellow cat parent who gets it.
“Gina is the best. She always takes wonderful care of our kitty. Confirms the booking ahead of time, sends pictures during her stay and sends great notes. We could never ask for better care❤️❤️”

“Kaitlin took great care of our babies while we were away! Both kitties were happy and relaxed when we returned. I loved receiving photos and updates at each visit. Absolutely will hire her next time.”

“Wendy did drop in visits for my senior cat Chloe who requires daily medication. Chloe is very standoffish with almost everyone and Wendy was great with her and Chloe liked her very much. I was very happy with Chloe's care and will definitely use Wendy going forward when we go out of town again.”

“Brooklyn is super sweet and was very communicative which I really appreciate! I’ve never used Rover or any other site to find someone to watch my baby (my elderly cat) so I was pretty anxious, but Brooklyn was great and I will definitely be booking her again if I need someone to watch my baby!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life! I started out taking care of dogs for my neighbors and family, which eventually led to working at a dog training and boarding facility where I was responsible for daily care, feeding, and walking pups of all sizes. On a personal level, I cared for my own senior Labrador when she was very sick, so I am extremely patient, attentive, and comfortable handling special care or delicate routines. Today, I’m a proud dog parent to Eddie, my 5-year-old Coton de Tulear. Whether your pup needs fun daily walks or gentle, cozy company, I’ll treat them with the exact same love and care I give my own! Taking care of pets is part of my everyday. I have a very open and flexible schedule, I can easily jump throughout the week and on weekends. I spend most of my time hanging out with Eddie, so taking care of your dog fits right in! Safety and peace of mind are my top priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space and strictly follow exact routines. My experience working at a boarding facility taught me to always double check leashes, keep gates closed, and stay aware. Plus, nursing my own senior Lab taught me to watch closely for any changes in comfort or behavior. You’ll always get regular photos and updates so you know your pup is safe and happy!

I currently work part time at Meijer in the grocery department. My schedule consists of working Friday-Monday or Thursdays-Monday. I work the morning shift for the store which is 4am-12pm. If you have more than one furry friend and can easily separate them if needed and make sure they are both calm with each other if they are in the same area watched very carefully. If they need to be crated I can do that too. I will make sure to my fullest ability for your pet to be safe around each other and me during the process.
About: Hi there, I’m Brittany. Animals make me happy. When I see a pet, I see a child. They are a member of the family. I have always been an animal lover and I always will be. Every day I take my dog on at least one walk and many times I walk him multiple times per day. I treat my fur babies like family and how I would want to be treated. I am not only here to help you during your busy schedule but to become a friend to you and your fur baby. To house sit during longer durations, I can travel to anywhere. I would need to bring my golden retriever with me if your pets like to socialize and make new friends, he loves other dogs and gets along with them great, he is very social and has been to many dog parks and households with pets, if not I may be able to find someone to take care of him for me during that time. About: I’ve cared for my own dogs for over 30 years and have provided backup support for a very successful petting sitting service for over 7 years. I’m currently working part-time. I’m a widow with grown children that live on their own. I have a Pomeranian of my own who is 10 years old. I’m available often. I have a small dog of my own to keep your pup company. Your pup will be leashed when walked around my circular HOA community
About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. If you need me to do a drop in visit, my hours for availability are in the air for the next couple of weeks until I am given my new works hours.

About: Through my time training in IPO, I have developed the skills needed to handle high-energy and working breeds with confidence. However, I welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes. Whether your dog is a high-drive athlete or a quiet senior, they will find a safe, structured home here. I’m home full‑time on a quiet rural property, so dogs fit naturally into my daily routine. I provide regular outdoor breaks, feeding, exercise, and constant supervision throughout the day. I have a dedicated indoor and outdoor roofed kennel setup with five separate kennels, indoor and outdoor cameras for security, and a secure 16×20 fenced play area. Dogs stay in a clean, safe, structured environment with constant monitoring.
About: I've had different dogs in the house for my whole life. As a kid my family brought dogs in for foster care. We've taken care of multiple dogs with disabilities, including deaf dogs and partially blind dogs. Dogs get along with me well and I'm good at getting shy dogs to warm up to me. I've also volunteered with the Jackson County Animal Shelter, working with the cats at PetSmart. I've also taken care of relatives'/friends'/neighbors' pets. Currently I spend most of my time at home working on my online classes so I will have plenty of time to spend caring for your dog. On the rare chance that I'm not home at least one of my parents are in the house and will be able to fill in for me while I'm out. The dogs that I own eat at the same time everyday and go out as needed, but if your dogs need to be treated differently it will be easy to change things for them. Just fill me in on what your pet needs to be taken care of properly and I should be able to get it done.

About: Hi! I’m Mariah, a lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent to a big, goofy dog and two sweet cats. While I’m new to professional pet care, I’ve spent years caring for my own animals and know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family. I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting—and I bring a calm, playful, and structured approach to every visit. Whether it’s a quick check-in, a good walk, or keeping your pets company while you’re away, I treat every animal like one of my own: with love, patience, and attention to their unique needs. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to give you peace of mind—and your pets a new friend they can feel safe and happy with. I currently am a Preschool Teacher so I work Monday-Friday 8am-4:30. So I’m available on weekends, a week in October for my Fall Break and during breaks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break) for dog sitting. Summers I’m off so I will adjust my days and times when summer draws nearer. Whether I’m visiting your home for a walk, drop-in, or overnight stay, I do everything I can to keep your pet’s routine consistent and stress-free. I follow your instructions closely—mealtimes, meds, playtime, litter boxes, the works—and always give your pet the attention, affection, and patience they deserve. For dogs, I bring a calm, structured energy to walks and make sure they get both exercise and fun. For cats, I understand that comfort and familiarity are everything—I move at their pace and respect their boundaries while still making time for play or snuggles if they’re into it. Every visit is about making your pet feel safe, seen, and loved—just like they would with you
“Brooklyn was flexible and easy to work with. I will certainly look for her again next time. We met prior to her scheduled walking of my Pomsky, Razia to give her access to my apartment and discuss details. She is very nice and professional. Thanks, again!”

I promise to care for your animals as if they were my own, with compassion and common sense. I’m looking forward to caring for your fur babies ☺️ I actually just moved to the area fairly recently from New Jersey, and I work from home so this would be an ideal way to fill my spare time. ☺️ I come equipped with experience with all kinds of pets, along with common sense and basic compassion for animals. I treat my pets like my children, and I would treat yours with those same standards.
About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

About: New to Rover but not new to caring for animals. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s routine. As a busy mom managing a full household, I naturally bring consistency, patience, and attention to detail into everything I do—including pet care. I’m especially great with dogs who: • prefer routine • have a little anxiety • need calm, steady energy You can expect: ✔ timely communication ✔ daily photo + message updates ✔ a clean, safe, low-stress environment ✔ someone who treats your pet like family—but with structure I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pet, and I take that seriously. I walk often myself so I’d be happy to exercise with your pet as well. I have a large yard that is unfenced. I’m open to coming to your home as well. I also have two daughters that are dog lovers that can’t wait to play with and love on your pets!

About: I am a college student at Grand Valley State University. I am home for the summer, I have grown up with animals my whole life, and I absolutely love them! Pet care fits into my routine by being something I prioritize every day. Since I have five cats and one Beagle, I have responsibilities like feeding them, cleaning litter boxes, walking my dog, and making sure they're healthy and happy. Being a college student has taught me how to balance these responsibilities with classes, studying, and other commitments. I make sure pets are fed on time, have fresh water, get exercise and attention, and have a clean-living space. Since I care for five cats and one Beagle at home, I'm comfortable managing multiple pets and following a daily routine. In a client's home, I would carefully follow their care instructions, keep the pets comfortable, and treat both their pets and home with respect.

“Great communication. Easy drop-off/pick-up. Dogs seemed to have a great time and were happy as can be when we got them back. Will definitely use Nicole again! Highly recommend.”

“Professional, kind and clearly dog lovers! Happy to find Coddy and Byron for the long holiday weekend. As a lab, Kevin can be quite the handful and after the meet and greet I knew he would be well taken care of. Provided daily updates and answered my questions quickly. Best part is Kevin came home tired and happy! Recommend and will be using again!”

“Olivia is super friendly and helpful. She kept my cat in good mood, so good that he kind of refused to leave her place when the time was up. I will certainly come back to Olivia if I need someone to take care of my cat in the future.”

“Charlie is usually very shy and low energy but with Sabrina and Stella, he had way too much fun! We could tell clearly because it rarely happens that he has been sleeping hard for hours. Attesting to the fact of non-stop very energetic hours spent at Sabrina’s place. 1000% happy and we will be back again. Thanks to Sabrina and family”

“Kathy was a fantastic caregiver for our 10 month old pup, Sunny! We received regular updates and pictures of their fun activities. I can tell Sunny came home super happy, and also tired from all the fun! We will definitely use Kathy again in the future.”

“Fabulous sitter! She was quick to reply and took care of our babe last minute. She even went out of her way to drop him off for us, and waited 5-10 minutes extra due to our event not being done yet. HIGHLY recommend! THANK YOU SO MUCH!”
