“This was my first experience leaving one of my dogs with a pet sitter. Before we would occasionally board our dogs with the vet. This was an excellent experience though and I prefer it over boarding with the vet. Rodney was great with my 2 1/2 month old puppy. His dogs, especially Murphy, played so well with Leroy. My little guy loves that big golden retriever. My puppy also came back a few lbs heavier and a bit taller, showing he was well cared for the whole time. When I wasn't going to be back in town until a bit later, Rodney was very accommodating about allowing my mum and sister to pick up the puppy for me. Overall it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend him.”

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs for over 30 years and have provided backup support for a very successful petting sitting service for over 7 years. I’m currently working part-time. I’m a widow with grown children that live on their own. I have a Pomeranian of my own who is 10 years old. I’m available often. I have a small dog of my own to keep your pup company. About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. If you need me to do a drop in visit, my hours for availability are in the air for the next couple of weeks until I am given my new works hours.

About: I've had different dogs in the house for my whole life. As a kid my family brought dogs in for foster care. About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

About: I’ve owned multiple dogs my whole life, from our current German Shepherd and Siberian Husky to the two pugs we adopted when I was in high school to the lovey dog we found as a kid that we named Scooby-Doo because he looked just like him. I’ve helped care for all of them from walks around the block to feeding time to going outside just for potty and play time. I’ve also helped out a few friends with their dogs since high school while they were away. I’m currently a stay at home mom with a decently open schedule after my kids go to school in the morning and once my husband gets home from work during the week and am available during all hours of the weekend. If you are comfortable with your pets coming to my house I have two very friendly dogs who love play dates if your fur babies play well with others and a big back yard and a fenced in side yard for plenty of running around room or games of fetch. If I’m watching your dog(s) at your home I will follow whatever schedule you have for them on top of making time for play, walks and love so that they don’t feel neglected in any way while you are away. I also am more than comfortable with giving them baths if need be.
About: I’ve cared for my own dogs for over 30 years and have provided backup support for a very successful petting sitting service for over 7 years. I’m currently working part-time. I’m a widow with grown children that live on their own. I have a Pomeranian of my own who is 10 years old. I’m available often. I have a small dog of my own to keep your pup company. About: I’ve owned numerous dogs in my life & have become my neighborhood dog walker because of it! I would love the opportunity to get to expand the community of doggies I see everyday. I am available to drop-in and/or walk your dog Monday through Thursday, between 10-4pm! I am also available to stay for up to an hour per visit! About: Absolutely adore animals and would love to get to know yours! I have 4 rescues as well as a service pup, including a disabled rescue from an Afghanistan war zone so I’m more than willing to work with animals with special needs. I have a lot of experience from my own animals and have dog sitting experience as well. I am currently a student and due to the pandemic mostly work online so my availability is pretty open. As I have dogs of my own I would not be able to stay the night with your animal but will have at least 6-7 Hours a day to spend completely with your pup. I would prefer watching the animal at your home as there are 5 other animals here but if needed I am equipped with two area fences in my back yard as well as leads and ability to separate the other dogs in my house without worry.

About: I have a love for animals big and small. I enjoy exploring and making new experiences with animals. I have experience with elderly and medical needs animals. I work as a nanny and have sometimes weeks off and would love to have an animal to take care of and take places with me. I have a house with 13 acres, for dogs that are not recall trained I use a 10 ft leash and always make sure leases are on before the door opens. I have a separate room for my own animals that way if rabbits or cats are meet with aggression all animals will be safe.

This was an excellent experience though and I prefer it over boarding with the vet. Rodney was great with my 2 1/2 month old puppy. His dogs, especially Murphy, played so well with Leroy. My little guy loves that big golden retriever. My puppy also came back a few lbs heavier and a bit taller, showing he was well cared for the whole time. When I wasn't going to be back in town until a bit later, Rodney was very accommodating about allowing my mum and sister to pick up the puppy for me.
