“My dog,Archie, loves staying at Christina’s. He can’t wait to get out of the car to go play and make new friends. He literally drags me to her door. I can always trust he is in good hands with her”

“Brooklyn is super sweet and was very communicative which I really appreciate! I’ve never used Rover or any other site to find someone to watch my baby (my elderly cat) so I was pretty anxious, but Brooklyn was great and I will definitely be booking her again if I need someone to watch my baby!”

“Very responsive to messages! I appreciated the pictures of our dog while they were there and could see how happy Coco was being there! Thank you again! An absolute pleasure and will definitely book again if needed!”

“Best sitter ever! Great person. Took great care and sent plenary pics. Really loves animals. I recommend her to anybody that loves there pet. She loves them like her own kids!”

About: Hi! My name is Kylee, and I'm a reliable and experienced pet caregiver with 6+ years of dog handling and training experience, 13 years of cat care experience, and 5 years of caring for guinea pigs and other small animals. I am also CPR and First Aid certified for cats and dogs, and I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency in every visit. I prefer in-home pet care only (at the client's home), as I have my own pets at home, including 5 dogs and 3 cats. My services include drop-in visits, feeding, walks, playtime, litter box and cage cleaning, medication administration, puppy care, and overnight stays. I have experience with large and small dogs, leash training, basic obedience reinforcement, and high-needs care routines. I treat every pet like my own and focus on maintaining their normal routines while owners are away. I am dependable, punctual, and communicative, and I provide attentive, compassionate care so pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own home. My schedule is completely open on the weekends and Wednesdays, and I work part-time Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. But I am available after 4:30 those days. I am only comfortable caring for your animals in their home as I have 5 dogs and 3 cats of my own. All animals are treated as they are my own babies.

“April did great! We have never used Rover before or left our dog with anyone other than family, so naturally I was really nervous about leaving her with someone we didn’t know, especially for 3 nights. April did wonderful updating us with pictures throughout the weekend and was super fast on responding to any messages I sent her. If you’re a nervous first-time rover user like we were, it’s totally understandable but I highly recommend April.”

“Amber took care of my senior cock-a-poo for the day. He is an old guy with issues (deaf, anxiety) and she seemed unfazed by his challenges. I found Amber to be very pleasant and kind, and she and her child are clearly animal lovers! I always worry about my dog staying with anyone, but I felt comfortable leaving him with her. Thank you, Amber!”

“Great communication. Easy drop-off/pick-up. Dogs seemed to have a great time and were happy as can be when we got them back. Will definitely use Nicole again! Highly recommend.”

“Jenny was fantastic with Jefferson! She was incredibly respectful with our instructions and sent pictures and updates of a happy puppy. Jenny was also flexible when it came to pick up and drop off-our schedules didn't really match but she made it work. We will definitely be using Jenny in the future!”

About: Hi there, I’m Brittany. Animals make me happy. When I see a pet, I see a child. They are a member of the family. They have the sweetest souls and biggest hearts and I wouldn’t treat them any other way. I have one dog and I was raised with 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have always been an animal lover and I always will be. Every day I take my dog on at least one walk and many times I walk him multiple times per day. I treat my fur babies like family and how I would want to be treated. I am not only here to help you during your busy schedule but to become a friend to you and your fur baby. To house sit during longer durations, I can travel to anywhere. I would need to bring my golden retriever with me if your pets like to socialize and make new friends, he loves other dogs and gets along with them great, he is very social and has been to many dog parks and households with pets, if not I may be able to find someone to take care of him for me during that time. For drop in visits, I can assist on my own or bring my dog for some company. I am also available on certain days for doggy day care and boarding. When I have a dog stay with me I treat that dog like my own and it would have an amazing friend to play with. Pets are allowed on furniture, I have treats, toys, tons of dog beds, and a fenced in yard. I will also take your dog out on walks and play fetch or tug to burn energy. If you choose to book me, thank you for trusting me and I won’t disappoint you! My schedule is very flexible, and I would love to help accommodate what you need help with, whether that is daily or weekly. I am always picking up new work bookings. I have booked a lot off of rover so I have additional referrals if you would like them! I will treat your animals and home as if it were my own, with love, trust, and respect. I have helped out for many years taking care of people's pets and homes. I have many references.
“We couldn’t have asked for a more loving and caring dog sitter for our two dogs. Sonya and her family actively gave 100% excellent care. It started out as a weekend, and by necessity, ended up being more than a week long job. The entire time that our dogs were there, we received regular communications and photos of the dogs enjoying time outside, and indoors with the family. If you’re looking for someone who give your dog everything that they need, Sonya is the answer. Should we ever need a dog sitter again, we know where we’re going. Huge thank you to you Donya and your family!”

“Belle was well cared for by Krista and enjoyed her stay, especially playing with K's 2 dogs in a large fenced yard. When my wife took ill during our trip and we were stuck in anther town, Krista was able and willing to keep Belle an extra day-and a-half in spite of an already busy schedule and houseguests. Her communications were always prompt and concise. She literally saved our day.”

“Our fur baby Boba is a friendly but nervous dog, esp around larger dogs. We were initially nervous about our pup’s first sleepover, but seeing how Caroline was so attentive and loving towards the dogs under her care, we felt relieved and knew she’d be okay. Caroline is flexible, quick to respond, and easy to work with. She also sent videos throughout Boba’s stay to keep us updated!”

“Jen & Chrissy are awesome. They have a great setup at their home. They were so caring & doting on my dogs, they had the best time. I frequently received pictures of my pets which made me happy they were playing & having fun. I was very happy with the care I received from Jen & Chrissy”

“Mariana and Denys were wonderful with our high-energy pooch! They were quick to respond and we could tell she was well cared for. We would definitely recommend and hope to use their services again!”

“Cody and Byron were absolutely amazing! We had 2 little dogs, a 16 year old yorkie and a 6 year old chihuahua. Our older pup is needy and the figured him out right away. The dogs absolutely loved the outdoor space and we have lots of pictures of them cuddled on the couch with blankets. They stayed for 8 days which I have never left them for that long before. Cody and Byron made them feel at home and made us feel comfortable and confident for the entire time. I would definitely use them again!”

About: Since the summer after my freshman year of high school, I’ve provided dog-walking, boarding, and house sitting services to neighbors in my small town. It’s something I’ve really enjoyed, so I’ve decided to carry that passion with me into college. I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs, from energetic puppies to seniors, and I’ve had dogs my entire life, which has given me a lot of experience and confidence in caring for them! My dog, Ivy, has a chronic illness, so I am well versed with medication administration or special requests. I am currently an undergrad nursing student at UofM, so I know a thing or two about medication from that as well. Thank you so much for your interest — I look forward to spending time with your fur baby! I currently have a part time job for the summer, but otherwise keep my schedule free. I take care of my own dog everyday and provide lots of exercise and walks. I always make safety, trust, and a positive environment my top priorities when caring for pets. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and temperaments, so I take the time to understand each dog’s individual needs and personality. I make sure they’re always secure on walks, use proper equipment, and stay aware of their surroundings to avoid any potential hazards.

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
100% of Michigan Center sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Michigan Center landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Michigan Center home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Michigan Center.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Michigan Center sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
