About: I’m an elementary school teacher and lifelong animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets. I’ve had pets throughout my life and understand that they’re part of the family. As a teacher, I’m patient, dependable, organized, and used to being responsible for the safety and well-being of others every day. About: I previously owned a doggy daycare/grooming/boarding facility in Louisville. I have tons of experience in this field. I have a full grooming setup in my home, and I offer baths, blowdry, nail trims, and shave-downs. Your pets will receive around-the-clock care. My pets are my top priority and I always plan everything around them! I give as many potty breaks as needed and we spend a lot of time playing outside OR inside when weather is bad. We care for dogs in our home. We have a fenced-in backyard. We take the pups on daily walks, and we have lots of playtime in the large backyard. We have a full grooming setup in our home and offer baths before pets go home!

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child, but have had my 3 cats for 13 years now. I recently moved, so I let them live with my mom sadly, I do miss them. Outside of my cats, I have helped walk and care for other dogs the past few years. If you give special instructions on how you would like for me to care for your dog/cat, I will do exactly that since I will be coming to your place and/or walking them. UPDATED AS OF 6/16/26- for now please refer to this update until life gets less busy. I have a 2 year old so I cannot watch your animals at your home at this current time, but I would still love to drop in and take care of them through the day or take them on walks. I can care for them at my home also. The hours listed below are still correct 😊 I work Monday-Friday until 3:30pm, but I can also come before work, take my lunch to let your pups out for a potty break half way through my shift! I always am off on the holidays. I do have every Saturday and Sunday completely free. After 3:30pm on the weekdays I have the entire day to spend with your animals :) I will follow all your instructions you give me for caring for your animals. I will always treat them like I would my own animals!
About: I have been fostering puppies with my mom since i was 8 years old. I have 5 dogs myself, Gunner the English Shepherd, Ember a Pitbull, Saint, Saydi, and Saige which are all German shorthaired pointers. About: I am a veterinary nurse, I am able to administer medications as prescribed. I am able to spot early issues during dog walking or pet sitting. I work strictly weekends, but I am here for you if you need to go out of town during the week or need someone to walk your pet during your work hours I feel like pets do better in their own home, I will lfollow feeding instructions, make sure they are played with and taken care of.
About: As a child and young adult I grew up with a family dog and cat of my own. I know what the genuine bond and love feels like between an animal and their owner having experienced it myself. In addition, when I was younger I helped out on a family farm during the summers so I do have experience being around and working with different animals. I work as a teacher during the school calendar year but my schedule is completely free during our summer break. As such, I am mostly looking to provide pet care during the work week M-F but I am also willing to discuss weekend options if needed and if provided notice in advance. About: I adopted a rambunctious shelter cat 5 years ago. She’s a wild child with a big personality! And I took in a stray cat about 2 years ago, who needed lots of care, including surgeries, food insecurity behaviors, etc. I’ve cared for cats my entire life, but these 2 girls have taught me how to handle the extremes. I am very knowledgeable about cats and their needs, and I can promise you, your baby will be taken care of as if they were my own (aka like perfect princess angels that I’d go to war for) I work from home, so I can immediately take care of any and all needs. I frequently check on my 2 cats, and have no issue stepping away from my desk if needed. In my home: My 2 cats have their own bedroom, catered to their playtime and nap time. They have free rein of the house, and are very welcoming to other cats. They are up to date on vaccinations and vet care, and they do not go outside for their safety. In your home: I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, with kindness and patience. I will follow your routine. I will be sure to change my clothes and take off my shoes to avoid any anxiety from smells of my own pets.

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
