About: I have watched other people's dogs several times in the past. One of the dogs required a twice daily insulin shot, which I am comfortable giving. I am comfortable with administering eye drops, too. I love to walk before I go to work in the morning, and always take my dog out with me! Unwinding after work with cute dogs is possibly the best therapy, also. I am clear with communication to the dogs. They only know how to do what we ask of them clearly! I love to work on basic commands & ensure discipline is a common theme among the dogs I handle. Don't get me wrong, play time is very important to me too! About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I have experience with all dogs and cats, regardless of age, breed or temperament. As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. I'm available for drop-ins to feed, play with and care for your sweet pets as needed - throughout the day and night - as well as dog-walking, as it fits into your schedule. I've spent the last 20+ years working as a teacher and developmental therapist, educating children who have developmental delays and disabilities. Now, I've decided to focus additionally on my love of animals. Since I was a small child, I've adored pets, and have many years of experience caring for a variety of them. I'm very patient and appreciative of each animal's personality. I currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own, and have used this service as a customer as well, so I can understand your point of view as "parents".
About: My passion for caring for animals started at a young age. I spent many hours volunteering at my local animal shelter as well as having the privilege of caring for my own pets at home. Growing up, I raised reptiles, fish, dogs, cats and hamsters….to name a few! In addition to being a down-to-earth, compassionate human, my friends would say I am trustworthy, responsible and reliable. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your furbabies (we can probably just call them children at this point, right) :) I am a very active person and enjoy walking, hiking and spending as much time outdoors as possible. My schedule is very flexible which would allow me work around yours! I can’t wait to get to know your furry friend!
