About: I’ve loved caring for animals for as long as I can remember and have been helping with pets since middle school. Growing up, I also gained hands-on experience working as a stable hand, which taught me the importance of responsibility, patience, and paying close attention to each animal’s needs. While living in the Birmingham area for college, I provided dependable pet care and house-sitting for families, including caring for both dogs and cats during longer stays. About: I’ve had six years of kennel experience at places like doggy day cares and currently am employed at a vet clinic! At my jobs, I have been responsible for special cases such as dogs with health conditions and giving medications. I also have experience with home visits/overnight stays with clients as well! I currently am employed full time at a vet clinic working as a lead kennel assistant, this means I am responsible for the cats and dogs that are staying the night at our facility! The beginning of my day would be dedicated to your pet then I’m off to work at 7:00 am. I would return for mid-day care at 10:00-11:00 am. Once I’m off work I’d be back for the end of day around 5:30-6:00 pm! With my experience at not only at doggy day cares but vet clinics I know just how important it is to be attentive towards our pets! Especially pets with medical issues or issues that are common in certain breeds! With my training I can provide a safe and trusting environment that will let owners feel at ease when they are not home!

He will be with me the whole time, so for house sitting, walks and drop in visits, it will be the two of us. It is important to me that he grows up loving and respecting animals. I have an 8 year old Basset Hound and a 3 year old Border Collie who love to play, so for daycare and boarding, they'll have a little krewe to enjoy time with. My home has always had small to medium dogs, but many of my friends have large dogs that I've taken care of and loved like my own. One of my life’s greatest joys is having a dog. About: I've raised two dogs, a pitbull named khole who I just recently lost to Cancer😔. She was 12 years old and the greatest most loyal dog i could have ever hoped for. I had her since she was a puppy and we traveled everywhere together, now I have Apollo a Scottish collie I got while living in Germany, he just turned 2 years. I have been around dogs most of my life as far back as I can remember. I am a medically retired veteran. So to generate extra income and keep myself active this is what I do, I get a lot of emotional joy from being around dogs, as a small I always gravitated towards dogs so I just naturally grew to love dogs. To me their is no better gift then to be truly loved and what loves us more then our dogs ? I have a fenced yard 1/3 of a acre with a pool and garden. My house is well maintained and orderly. Your pet will always be safe in my care.
