About: I have a lot of experience with taking care of different kinds of pets for as long as I can remember. I have a deep love and care for animals of all sizes and breeds. During my last two years of high school I under took courses of veterinary science and pet care so I learned many skills when it comes to caring and helping pets. I currently own one husky out of 5 huskies and 1 Boston terrier that me and my family have. I have learned so much about dogs throughout my years with them and love them dearly. I have also taken care of kittens and cats during my years of school and when asked to babysit or groom them from neighbors or family members. My world revolves around animals due to my deep care for them and my career choice. I make time for my pet needs and make sure they live a spoiled life. I understand the worry of any pet parent would have so I would be very open and willing to do anything they ask of me to care for their loved one. About: I became a dog owner in 2020 when I got my first French Bulldog, Hank McCoy, and I’ve been hands-on with caring for and training my dogs ever since. That’s why this app is a perfect side job for me. 😊 (I also have also volunteered at an animal shelter for a bit when I was in high school). When I was younger me and my family raised German Sheppards and I would help out with taking care of them and getting them wormed, bathed, etc. I am currently only doing door dash right now, and occasionally taking care of my grandmother who is battling cancer, so I have a lot of down time! About: I've had over 20 years of pet care experience, ranging between several different dog breeds and sizes, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even some bird-sitting. I understand each pet is different in their own way, some needing certain medications or volumes of food and water, and other pets are easier to take care of, but their owners need someone last minute to help watch and take care of their beloved pets. I also know when it comes to more than one pet in the household, some pets can get rowdy with each other and may tend to hurt one other, so I'm used to cleaning up after and treating the occasional bites or scratches they inflict. Having to give medications, give special food, and even seeing blood or recent wounds on animals doesn't stop me from providing the care they need while their owners are away at work or vacation or whatever else life has thrown their way. I've been known to be a reliable petsitter by many friends and family members over the years, and I make sure to follow all needs and specifications for each pet, regardless of their age and their size. At the moment, I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I am attending a class from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM, which anytime before or afterwards I can help walk or watch over pets. While I do not currently offer petsitting at my own home due to my roommates, I understand that every owner's household and every pet is different. I make sure that each of the doors and windows are closed and locked for the pet's safety, unless otherwise specified by the owners. If there are certain rooms or parts of the house off-limits to myself or the pets, I keep us away from those areas for the owner's privacy. And if the pets do tend to make a mess or I use any of the utilities of the home to help clean and take care of the pets, I make sure that everything is turned off and cleaned up afterwards so there are no messes for the owners when they return to their home and beloved pets.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
