“Cheryl watched our cat while we left her alone for the first time, and she gave us peace of mind while we were away. I hope she’s available to watch her again during our next trip!”

“Liliana came for a meet and greet and was very kind and was kind and attentive. She watched Archie for an hour, walked him and gave him lunch. We felt comfortable knowing he was in great hands!”

“Melissa was a lifesaver! We were already out of town when our planned pup-sitter had to unexpectedly cancel the morning of! I had never used Rover but had no other options and I’m just so glad I did! I requested an immediate visit and Melissa was right on it! Within the hour I had pics of my doggo living her best life and the text communication was beyond what I could’ve imagined. I was updated when she accepted our request, when she was on her way, multiple times while she was here during her 30 minute visit, and when she was heading out. I was so at peace knowing my girl was being loved on and taken care of even by a complete stranger who I just felt so comfortable with from the very beginning. Will absolutely request Melissa’s services again! So so grateful!”

“Highly recommend Timothy! I needed last minute help with my 2 pups (lab and great dane) and it was perfect! The boys were taken care of and happy! Great communication and on time for my appointment! I will be using him again for sure!!!!! 10 🌟!!!!!”

About: I had a a mixed breed dog she lived until she was about 11 years old. She had a heart murmur and a really bad knee so I know how to help support a dog that might have health problems or mobility issues. I have taken care of another larger dog of border collie blue heeler mix that has battled dislocating hips, throwing out her back and cancer. She is 11 now I have worked with a senior Great Pyrenees and I know these aren’t dogs, but I have taken care of multiple rescue animals from anything from fish all the way up to a cat and I have nursed every single one of them back to health so I do have experience giving animals medicines My schedule is a little bit all over the place. I never really know exactly what days I am off or not but as of right now, I should be available between 11 a.m. to about 2 PM but depending on the day I can work later I will make sure that your pet will not get into anything. It’s not supposed to make sure your pet does not escape your house. I will follow your instructions of how you want me to take care to your pet if your pet is to be let outside in a gate I will make sure that the gate is locked and secured if your dog needs to be chained outside. I will make sure that the chain and whatever it is secure to is stable and the dog will not get loose. I will ensure your pet safety if I’m walking your dog or if it’s in your house, I will make sure that no other animal comes after your pet. If I am at your home, I’m not gonna let anybody into your home that you do not personally know and without your verbal consent that that person can enter your home.

I’m a full time worker but I have full availability all weekends. With certain days through the week I have off occasionally. If you let me know ahead of time of the times you need a daily check in I can work with you to accommodate that! My husky Obi Wan Kenobi, comes to work with me everyday. He gets to run all day outside, he’s on a special diet with multiple supplements to ensure he is healthy. I take care of each animal as they were my own because that is what they deserve. It is important to me to be their voice and be consistent in knowing their behaviors so I can always tell if something is off!
About: I’ve been taking care of pets of all kinds since I was a little girl, from the family pets of cats, dogs, birds and hamsters. To pets of all ages and kinds, of friends and neighbors. Walking, bathing them, helping to nurse them back to good health after surgery’s to even just taking time to sit and snuggle and talk with them when owners are busy with work or vacation. I’m currently working for the Elementary school. I have a break at lunch to come and care for pets needs during the day that might have a sleep over or I’m free at 5pm Monday- Friday to come and care for pets. I’m off on weekends and have very long holiday breaks due to working for the school as well as summers off. I have lots of extra time to make sure your family pet never feels lonely while in my care. I have a big fenced in yard. And a nice large downstairs space with hardwood floors. My neighbor is perfect for taking walks, very low traffic. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, which means more time for yours. I do have 2 very responsible and loving nine year old children that can’t wait to help be hands-on with caring for your pets as we don’t have any of our own ( as of now).
About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was 10 years old. I have a Maltese, a Jack Russell, and a Pit Bull. All three of them are seniors, and I make sure they are comfortable and adjusting to aging. I am also well-versed in puppy care and have taken care of dogs of all ages, kept them entertained, and made sure they were happy. I am currently an online English tutor, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your babies. My weeks are structured, but I have flexibility. I make sure my pets are safely secured on their leashes before every walk. That they have what they need: water, treats, and doggie bags for cleanup. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Black Creek. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
