“Melissa was a lifesaver! We were already out of town when our planned pup-sitter had to unexpectedly cancel the morning of! I had never used Rover but had no other options and I’m just so glad I did! I requested an immediate visit and Melissa was right on it! Within the hour I had pics of my doggo living her best life and the text communication was beyond what I could’ve imagined. I was updated when she accepted our request, when she was on her way, multiple times while she was here during her 30 minute visit, and when she was heading out. I was so at peace knowing my girl was being loved on and taken care of even by a complete stranger who I just felt so comfortable with from the very beginning. About: Since age 12, I've loved and cared for a lot of cats and dogs of all sizes and personalities.I have a soft heart for senior animals, and the playful energy for the little ones! I'm currently a student with a flexible schedule for walks and sitting for your pet. I'm available for house sitting, drop ins, and walks, during weekdays and weekends. About: I’ve helped raise and take care of dogs since I was 10 or so. We’ve had several litters of puppies that we had to raise and get rehomed as well as various animals to include cats, dogs, and smaller animals like guinea pigs and hamsters. Each animal has its own personality and that makes working with them so special. I have flexibility to stop in the middle of the day during the work week to check in on your pet and provide the care needed on a daily basis. I also have open availability on the weekends and evenings to check in as needed. I try to treat each animal how I would like my animals to be treated. They are alive and have personalities that should be tailored to the approach you give the pets. That’s my philosophy.

About: Part of my childhood was spent on the family farm with many little four legged friends. Only a few times has there not been a pet in my life. Bearded Dragons, tropical birds, aquariums and caregiver of family pets. Volunteered for years at my local Humane Society. Also, help my daughter with her Dog grooming mobile businesses anxious puppies. I have a PRN job so scheduling will not be a problem. I'm basically retired and need to share the hugs and love with yours.At your home At your home I would maintain the schedule you already have for your pet/s. And add a little something extra if they seem interested. Cuddling is my specialty.

About: I've had over 20 years of pet care experience, ranging between several different dog breeds and sizes, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even some bird-sitting. I understand each pet is different in their own way, some needing certain medications or volumes of food and water, and other pets are easier to take care of, but their owners need someone last minute to help watch and take care of their beloved pets. I also know when it comes to more than one pet in the household, some pets can get rowdy with each other and may tend to hurt one other, so I'm used to cleaning up after and treating the occasional bites or scratches they inflict. Having to give medications, give special food, and even seeing blood or recent wounds on animals doesn't stop me from providing the care they need while their owners are away at work or vacation or whatever else life has thrown their way. I've been known to be a reliable petsitter by many friends and family members over the years, and I make sure to follow all needs and specifications for each pet, regardless of their age and their size. At the moment, I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I am attending a class from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM, which anytime before or afterwards I can help walk or watch over pets. While I do not currently offer petsitting at my own home due to my roommates, I understand that every owner's household and every pet is different. I make sure that each of the doors and windows are closed and locked for the pet's safety, unless otherwise specified by the owners. If there are certain rooms or parts of the house off-limits to myself or the pets, I keep us away from those areas for the owner's privacy. And if the pets do tend to make a mess or I use any of the utilities of the home to help clean and take care of the pets, I make sure that everything is turned off and cleaned up afterwards so there are no messes for the owners when they return to their home and beloved pets.

About: Hello! My name is Maya, I am a proud husky owner and a current veterinary student! On my weekdays I work at veterinary hospital where I spend my entire day taking care of my furry friends. I am good with a wide variety of temper and ready to give your pet extra attention! I have experience with dog training, nutrition and medical evaluation. I’m a full time worker but I have full availability all weekends. With certain days through the week I have off occasionally. If you let me know ahead of time of the times you need a daily check in I can work with you to accommodate that! My husky Obi Wan Kenobi, comes to work with me everyday. He gets to run all day outside, he’s on a special diet with multiple supplements to ensure he is healthy. I take care of each animal as they were my own because that is what they deserve. It is important to me to be their voice and be consistent in knowing their behaviors so I can always tell if something is off!

About: 1I have had pets throughout childhood and into adulthood. I used to train dogs and I treat your fur babies with the same love as my own! I have a pretty open schedule that can easily accommodate boarding, last minute boarding/ house sitting and more! Let me know what service you need! About: I have had dogs in the past giving me good one on one time with dogs but I've also pet sit for family and friends. From dog and cat to lizards and bunnies I've pet sit for all. I'm currently trying to go back to school and my part time job is just not gonna get me there. I'm just trying to help a family that needs help. I've found clients feel more at easy when I pet sit in their home which I completely understand. This is my first time on this app so I don't know what to expect on here but in the past I've had clients make me a list of what they need done with their pets. Water, food and a walk to use the restroom or for exercise is the common one but I've also been asked to bath them. Which if asked by a client I'm not against bathing the pets.
