“We have had Chelsea in our lives for over a year. She has been with us for our fostering and a recent adoption of another kitty. We have a total of 6 pets (1 dog and 5 kitties) she looks after when we are on vacation. During the week, she comes over 3 times a week to walk our lab. She is definitely an adopted member of our family. Our lab goes flying through the house when she hears the front door unlock and several of our cats will even come running. Everyone in our house loves Chelsea. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her not only as a sitter, but as a person. You will not be disappointed with the care and love she gives your furbabies.”

About: Hi, my name is Maddy! Ever since I was a little girl, animals have been such a influential part of my life. From rescuing and rehabilitating sick or injured kittens to starting my own dog boarding business, I have years of experience caring with all types of animals. My children share the same love for animals that I do and look forward to pampering your fur baby. If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks, hiking the trails, in-town walks, and play time with kids will happen daily. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. We are experienced with all dog breeds and sizes! Any specific requests for them? Let me know! My minor is in nutrition and inspired my own line of grain-free doggie treats that I would love to share with your pup during their stay. I always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. I’ll even give them a bath if you want! Just bring their shampoo if they have sensitive skin. Quality time with your pup is a top priority in our home, and we want your pup to have a wonderful experience with us. Our number one goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and like part of the family. I am a homeschooling mom! My schedule allows me to be with your pup 100% of the time! Our flexibility allows for extended stays as well. We have a large fenced in yard and our own pup to keep your fur baby active and happy when the weather permits. Pups are supervised at all times and never allowed off-leash for walks. We take multiple walks daily!

About: I am a veterinary assistant at a vaccine clinic, and have additional experience as a kennel attendant at a Doggy Daycare! I am a current graduate student at SIU School of Medicine and am an aspiring veterinarian. I’m a full-time graduate student, and work a 9-5 Monday through Friday. I am available during the evening and depending on your proximity to SIU School of Medicine, am available for walks throughout the day. I am able to spend 24 hours with your pet on the weekends! I am a graduate student, so most of my time will be spent studying! I grew up always having 2 dogs, so I am very used to taking frequent study breaks to play with and snuggle with your dog! With prior experience as a kennel attendant, I am very comfortable with administering any medications necessary and providing a clean and safe environment for your pet.

“I have 3 Aussies… My oldest is 19 yrs old….. and Ashley knew how to keep him calm and make him comfortable in a week long trip Away from him… My youngest two… are right at a year old and very high energy. My young male pup has a tendency of running off…. Ashley was wonderful!♥️ She was encouraging to my old dog, to be comfortable w/someone strange taking care of him. But also, she was great in taking care of the young/high energy pups. I would recommend her to everyone.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and owner. I’ve personally had the pleasure of owning three cats in my lifetime that have gone on to their senior years. I’ve taken care of roommates’ dogs and have had great experiences living with them, as well as neighbors’ pets in the past. I am certainly open to accommodating puppies training schedules (lol as I work on training my own), and will gladly provide needed care for senior animals. I am currently mostly always at home taking care of my son who is going to be two in January. I’m hoping to work your pets schedule into our routine as well as care for pets that need to be boarded in our home. We spend a lot of time at home, I know having your animals in our house will brighten our days. My little guy loves dogs and cats, and I have been bringing him to the pet store for fun anyways throughout the day. We are typically up and moving, ready to go by early afternoon, and bedtime is around 8 o’clock. My hours are flexible between that time And I can do overnights. I would be happy to build relationships with pet owners and become their regular go to. We often go to Washington Park to walk and play. I have a fenced in front and backyard, and would be able to create a space for crating if needed. Honestly, I’m usually pretty up for anything so please inquire for any specifics.

About: I have always had such a special connection with animals my entire life owning all sorts of critters big and small!! I currently have three cats and a pug named Bug who is a newer addition to my rescued crew. I also have a handful of neighborhood cats that visit me everyday for a scoop of chow and pets! While I'm fortunate to now call Rover my main focus, I also run my own vintage resale shop and caregive locally for some elderly friends in the area helping them around their house and with their furbabies! I truly have found so much joy and happiness out of this job and have really found myself thriving which I am so incredibly grateful for. With that being said I promise to care for your pet exactly how I would want my own cared for and give them the love and patience they deserve! Since I'm currently self employed I'm almost always available as long as you give me a notice a couple days ahead I would love to let your buddy out, walk them, or even just give them some loves + snugs!! I do require first time clients to set up a meet and greet with me first so we can all get to know one another and discuss your expectations for when I come and check in on your buddy! I'm mainly on here to check in on and walk your furry friends. I live in an apartment so I unfortunately do not have a fenced in backyard but I do have a yard that they can be taken to go potty in and your pup would get out for multiple small walks throughout the day with Bug and I. Living in a smaller space with four critters already I'm only comfortable to board dogs around Bugs size and smaller so everyone is safe, happy, and comfortable in their environment!
