Hosting pups is our full-time job - your pups become part of our family while they’re here! We spend our days with our guests, playing and chatting with them, and can attend to everyone’s needs regularly throughout the day. Our 24/7 dedication to giving your pups the best experience while away from your home makes us a great choice for day care and socialization opportunities! We accept bookings between 7am and 7pm; we will consider bookings outside these hours on a case by case basis, potentially for an additional cost. Our availability for picking up and dropping off is limited but we aim to be as flexible as possible. Reach out with your needs and we’ll work out an arrangement that works best for all of us!

Our entire yard is fenced in - there’s room to run full speed! We can adjust feeding schedules as needed to accommodate your dog’s diet. In good weather, pups are free to go inside and outside at their leisure. We don’t require pups to use crates while we’re gone or overnight, but if you prefer your pup be crated at any time, we’re happy to do that and have multiple available. Male pups will wear a belly band for the first 24 hours of their stay, at minimum - this soft, absorbent band fits around their belly and attaches with Velcro on their back. Belly bands reduce marking behavior, especially in unneutered males. You may bring your own, but we can supply them, free of charge. Using belly bands keeps our home calmer, cleaner, and fresher by eliminating marking behavior and reduces anxiety for future pups by giving them less reason to want to mark over the scent of previous pups. We have indoor and outdoor security cameras in many locations that can be helpful to review if any safety situations arise. The safety of all of our pups is very important to us! (They’re also great for catching fun footage!)

Please let us know if/when your pup tends to be aggressive, and whether we should be on the lookout for indoor potty accidents or territory marking. We are prepared to handle these situations, so these are not disqualifiers, just things we need to know for everyone's safety (and our sanity). We usually don’t crate pups when we’re out of the house. They’re welcome to roam free with Penny and Ciel if they’ve shown they get along, or we can separate them in different rooms. We have crates available if you or your pup prefer. We’re accommodating of special feeding requirements and schedules, as well. We welcome ALL breeds!

Penny and Ciel keep our guests very busy - they love a friendly roughhouse session and happily share their toys with other pups. We have at least 10 different toys of different textures on the floor and in the yard at all times. Most days, we keep the back door open so pups can come and go as they please. We have our 6-year-old child half the time, and he adores our girls and our guests! He’s gentle and playful with them, and has even sat with a puppy guest and played lullabies for her while she napped. Our pups get as much outside time as they wish in our huge fenced yard, and have free roam of the house while inside. Our pups sleep in our bed at night, and your pup is welcome to do the same!

We’ve been hugging dogs since we were kids, and we’d love to hug yours! Penny, Ciel, and our family enjoy hosting furry friends - we take care of them and our pups play hard with them! Please note: *We cannot currently accept bookings for unneutered/intact male pups *We host a large, rambunctious group of pups throughout the week - pups who prefer quiet, calm environments may not have an enjoyable experience here, and we will happily recommend sitters who may be a better fit for your family

Kim was quick to reply to our request for dog day care and showed interest about our dog right from the first start. We were in Springfield for a tour of Abraham Lincoln sites. Kim shared pictures during the day. It showed our dog getting along with other dogs, just like he does when we visit a dog park at home. Started as a walk but turned into daycare with them and my dog loved his first day! So excited for him to have something he can do during the week and such friendly people to love on my boy
