“Hailee is a fantastic pet sitter! We are newer to the area so when we needed to travel a few months ago for a business trip, we needed someone to watch our cat and dog. I have explored Rover in the past but this was the first time I used the service. Hailee's pricing was very reasonable and she had a lot of very good reviews and repeat customers. Upon our initial meeting, Hailee took detailed notes about our pets' routines and interacted well with them. Our first booking was an in-house sitting for both our dog and cat. She sent us daily updates, including pictures, and it was clear our pets were very comfortable with her! Our dog, Groot, can be a bit nervous of strangers and gets a little depressed being away from home or when I leave, but he seemed happy with Hailee! He takes oral medication 3 times daily and Hailee was diligent about giving it. Our second booking with Hailee was for drop-in visits for our cat, Glenn, while we were away on vacation (dog included). Hailee sent pictures and an update for every visit once again! While we have left our cat for about a week in the past, he is noticeably happier when he has company. Once again, Hailee's professionalism and reasonable pricing really made a difference for us. I will absolutely be using and recommending Hailee in the future! She gives peace of mind to overbearing pet owners with her daily updates and even dogs nervous with strangers (like ours) seem to love her.”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve volunteered with shelters and own three of my own for the last 10 years. I’m currently working from home and hoping to get out of the house for a bit by doing drop in visits or dog walks. I’m available to board dogs as well so long as any furry guest gets along with the dogs already in the house. I’m comfortable administering medication so long as instructions are given. I’m certified in canine CPR. Im happy to cater to the needs of your dog and follow any instructions you provide. As im working from home, im available nearly all the time except for a few virtual meetings during the week. Our normal routine is a short walk in the morning, they hang out with me while I work, maybe a walk or a game at lunch, more work from home, then free in the evening for movie nights/parks/bite to eat somewhere dog friendly. I have a fenced yard with a doggy door to the back. I have also converted my office into a dog room with space for extra crate if that’s what is preferred. Animals are allowed on furniture at the owners discretion. I recognize all owners do things a bit differently and I know how worrisome it can be to leave them with a stranger so I want to put your mind at ease by conforming my care to how you prefer.

About: I will go the extra mile to make sure your pup is well loved, hydrated, fed, and exercised. I am new to the area and am eager to explore with a furry friend that I cannot financially support currently, so I will love and care for it like my own. I just moved to Southern Pines, and am looking for any kind of word I can. My experience having dogs in my house all my life has made me responsible and capable of taking care of any kind of dog. We have a very safe apartment complex that we take long walks around many times a day to keep your pup happy and comfortable. If your dog is also a competent swimmer we have a nearby lake with public swimming spots to enjoy.

I’m a teacher on summer break, so I have all day to spend exercising your pup! I take my own dog on lots of walks, but am mindful of the heat and need for hydration. I pay attention to what the dog is comfortable with and love on them like they’re my own (treats, pets, play, encouraging words, etc.). If they need space, though, I understand.

About: I’ve been surrounded by paws and wagging tails my whole life—basically raised in a household where the vacuum was always full of fur and the treat jar was never empty. Growing up, I cared for all kinds of pets, including those with special needs, health issues, and daily medications (yes, even the ones who could sniff out a pill from a mile away). Since 2018, I’ve been a pet parent myself, and let’s just say my dogs are spoiled with love, belly rubs, and probably way too many photoshoots. I genuinely love being around dogs—whether it’s playtime, snuggle time, or just chillin’ in the same room while they nap like champions. Every dog I meet gets treated like my own: with patience, joy, and the kind of love that involves goofy voices and spontaneous dance parties during walks. Whether your pup needs high-energy play or calm companionship, I’ve got them covered—and I’ll probably fall a little bit in love with them too. I currently work until 2 every weekday, so I can come by to make my visits, give my pets, and take them on walks as soon as I’m done! My weekends are typically completely free so I can easily come by to snuggle and hang out with the kiddos when needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and seen - even in a short visit. I follow all instructions closely, from feeding and water refills to medication and litter box clean-up. I take time to play, cuddle (if they’re into it!), and give them the attention they need to feel calm and cared for while their people are away. I also treat every home with the same respect I’d want someone to show mine, keeping things clean, secure, and leaving everything as I found it. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a play session, or just keeping your pet company, I show up with intention and care every time.

About: My family has had dogs and a cat since I was born, so I’ve grown up around animals and love them! I’ve dog sat for my parents and neighbors many times over the years, but what really gave me the best experience is when my boyfriend deployed and left me with his six month old German Shepard puppy! I’ve handled everything from explosive diarrhea to middle of the night throw up to a heat cycle, so you could say I’ve almost seen it all! I feel equipped to take care of both small and large dogs (my puppy is 70 lbs and growing) and cats as well! I work from home and have a very laid back schedule, so I am available for walking, bathroom breaks, and playtime every day of the week, at anytime! My dog roams around the house but also has a crate that she sleeps and relaxes in. I take her out to the bathroom 3-4 times a day and walk her or take her to the dog park every day for 30 minutes to an 1 hour, so I am used to being active with dogs!

I am a patient person, and I will put the needs of your pets first. I will send you updates, pictures, and videos of your fur baby throughout the day. I am a stay at home pet mom and have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention and love that they need. I will walk your dog at least 5x a day. I will never leave your dog unattended. I will use positive reinforcement and always reward your pet for good behavior. But most of all, give them lots of love, and belly rubs.
