“Jason is wonderful. He took great care of my three large dogs. One requires medication and another is a senior dog who is a finicky eater. The two younger ones are highly energetic. Jason provided a lot of outside time to burn off their energy. He sent lots of photos and is a good communicator, asking questions and responding quickly to my texts. Jason also looked after my cats and sent photos of them as well. My dogs always looked happy and with Jason caring for them, I did not worry so much and could enjoy my vacation. About: I am a genuine animal lover. I have had multiple dogs throughout my life, and I currently have a black lab named Onyx who is an integral member of my family. I consistently take care of my family and friends' pets- I am comfortable managing each pet's individual needs and complexities. I have a background in teaching K-12 which translates nicely to the skills needed when caring for animals. I have worked with my dog to heal off leash, walk on leash on the right side without pulling, take treats nicely, and stay in our yard without going into the street. I have cared for young dogs that chew and need constant supervision, high energy dogs that need a lot of exercise and attention, and senior dogs that need regular medication and a lot of TLC! I will treat your pet as my own because they aren't just pets! They are family. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available throughout the week to keep your pet/s happy! My dog Onyx is a typical Velcro dog and goes with me on regular outdoor adventures. We take regular walks and love getting onto trails. We also spend a lot of time outside while I'm gardening and tending to the yard. Onyx is a regular companion to my wife and I during our day to day activities. Our plans revolve around including our dog and the pets I am caring for because we see them as family. I care for animals with love and compassion. If a rule needs to be followed, we will be following it! I will treat your dog and home with respect following your rules and instructions. My background in teaching has emphasized how crucial safety is. I will care for your pets as if they were my own.

About: I have had animals in my life ever since I was 4 years old. I'm pretty new to Rover, but have been petsitting by word of mouth since 2020! I've done extensive research on pets and what kind of care they prefer, what kind of diets are healthiest for them, and all the details that bridge the gap between their domestication and their primal instincts. I will provide loving care to dogs, cats, and other small animals like birds, hamsters, rabbits etc, and I will leave your house in just as good, if not better, condition than I found it! I work full time, but my schedule at work is incredibly flexible, so I am available on weekdays and weekends. I can take animals on walks if needed, or just be there to feed them and let them out daily. I am very flexible in terms of what services I offer, as it depends on what services you need! I can come and petsit at your house, and I can spend the night if you don't want your fluffy friends to get lonely. I can board for certain pets but not all, as I have a very picky cat of my own, so it is best to message me directly about what you are looking for!

“Morgan gave us and our dog exactly what we needed in order to leave on our first trip away. We became dog owners about 4 months ago to a sometimes skittish 1 year old pup, and we decided for our first extended absence that having a house sitter who could take care of our dog in his home environment would be best. Morgan came and met Moxie ahead of time with a drop in visit, and then stayed for two weeks at our house while we were away. She understood Moxie's needs and general behaviors right away, was able to quickly coax him into a new routine within the first few days of our absence, and had him happily wearing himself out on long walks and backyard play time for the rest of our trip. We received daily updates and were able to discuss any questions or concerns we had along the way, and Morgan also pitched in on general home care while we were gone, bringing in mail and watering plants. It was a huge relief having a competent caregiver and clear communicator looking after our dog while we were away and allowed us to focus on family vacation knowing Moxie was in good hands.
