I am a huge animal lover. Originally from North Carolina, I've lived in Montana for the past 20 years. In Helena for most of that. I'm very active outdoors; I enjoy spending time with dogs that love to go on hikes, etc. I've had a dog for most of my life, from a golden retriever to a Boykin spaniel, and now a border collie. I've also been around and taken care of other types of animals such as horses, goats, pigs, and different types of reptiles, etc. I've always taken care of my family's different animals over the years. Growing up I would often care for my neighbor's animals while they were on vacation or work, etc. That is actually how I got my Boykin spaniel, which I had before he passed away. The owner gave him to me when I had to move away after taking care of him for so many years
