About: I have taken care of pets all my life, by 8 years old I had 5 pets to care for. Comfortable around all dogs and cats. Very much a pet person! I currently work a full time job but I can definitely make a schedule that accommodates to your fur baby whether it be walks, check ins, companion time or whatever else I may be able to help with! I am not offering at home care for pets just yet, not able to provide the space in my current home. hoping to very soon.

Because of Bill’s dedication, careful monitoring, and experience I was able to get home in time to say goodbye to my boy. Without Bill and his care for our fur babies I would not have made it home in time and my boy would have been in prolonged pain and stress. As well as sound decision making he then made sure our other dog was emotionally supported by spending an extended amount of time with her until we could get home. Bill remained in constant communication with us, our emergency contact, and the medical staff. His exceptional communication skills helped us orient ourselves to the seriousness and make informed decisions from an ocean away. He went well above and beyond his job description of being a dog sitter and was just an incredible person and support. About: I have taken care of a German Shepherd, Shih Tzus, and chihuahuas as needed for the past couple years. I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day so I am available to provide dogs with attention and care at home the rest of the time. :) I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day, when I am outside of work I spend most of time home. During the time I am at home I’m able to adjust your pets care according to your preference. I live in an apartment and have a small male chihuahua who gets along great with other dogs. I don’t have a restrictive environment and will happily allow your dog to rest on the couches and beds, and roam around the apartment. I don’t have a fenced yard but I can walk and take your dog potty on a leash.

“Lila was a great sitter for Minnie. My very anxious “baby” took to Lila very quickly and that is not her norm, so I felt very comfortable leaving them together. Lila communicated and kept in touch well. She was very respectful of my home and even left a cute doggie thank you note. Minnie seemed to love her and I know this because often when I get home Minnie us sitting by the door waiting. She was sleeping in the living room and much calmer than my usual returns. About: I've owned many dogs, a few cats, goats, a sheep, and a ferret over the past 25 years. Except for the goats, they were all rescue animals. I'm good at managing conflict between dogs. I work remotely 3 weeks out of the month where I mostly set my own hours which allows me to take care of pets in a house sitting arrangement I only house sit so I will keep dogs on a lease at all times unless there is a fenced in yard. I'm good at preventing sneaky cats from escaping.

“Madison took care of our 4 pets- 2 large dogs & 2 cats while we were out of town for 5 days. One of the dogs had just had surgery and ended up being somewhat challenging with his bandage. She made sure he was taken care of and kept us up to date the whole time. She went above and beyond! We will use her in the future!”

About: I’ve volunteered at Dakin so my expertise is felines. I have rehabilitated, fostered, trained, and socialized any type of cat or kitten. Believe me, they’re just like dogs. My partner and I are both on-call medical professionals so one of us is always home during the week days. I’m at home during the weekends studying for school. Our time is very flexible! It’s best to keep pets separated until a day or two if they come into my home and then there’s a meet and greet. Otherwise, a meet and greet is essentially a day before before entering into their domain.

About: I am very open in my schedule and absolutely love dogs. I have grown up with at least one dog in my home my whole life and now own my own black lab mix. To me, pets are family! I have been a nanny for many years and all of the families have also had dogs that I would take care of simultaneously. I also worked for a few families to care for their dogs in the past assisting with feedings, play time, and walks. I have some experience training using a clicker as I have trained my own dog and know of little tricks. Dogs brighten up my day and I love being around them whenever I can. I love all breeds and sizes of dogs as well as all other animals. I have been doing this full time for about a year and a half, and am excited to continue! I am always accepting new clients and am working on becoming a certified dog trainer. I am currently pet sitting full time, so my schedule is very open depending on my bookings. I have current dog walks mid-day Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and those are my only repeat clients weekly. I offer caring for pets in my client’s homes and always make sure to ask about fenced in yards, typical behaviors of the dog, any behaviors I need to watch out for for instance if a dog resource guards or is aggressive with other dogs or people, allergies, and any other precautions I need to be aware of to safely, effectively, and empathetically to take care of the animal. I also only do walks on sidewalks or non busy roads when possible.
