“Margaret was perfect. She was very accommodating, easy to work with etc. It appears that our two cats liked her a lot and I think she liked them also. She sent several cute photos. She left the house very neat and clean. We were very lucky to find her on relatively short notice. We will certainly hire her again if our needs and her availability coincide in the future.”

“It is challenging to leave our anxious dog when we go away. Joyce made it so much easier! She is very thoughtful and went above and beyond to understand our dog and give her lots of attention. She sent us the sweetest daily updates. Also, it was very clear when we got home that she had taken very good care of our house. Joyce is now on our short list of favorite dog sitters. We will have her dog/house sit again without question.”

“Danielle was absolutely amazing! We will continue to ask her to look after our pups for our future trips. She provided us with updates and didn’t mind at all that we had a lot of specific requests regarding the pups food etc. she took perfect care of them and kept them company so we didn’t have to worry at all about them while we were gone.”

“Anesa is great. She and Dexter got along famously. We appreciate that she took him on a hike and on playdates with other dogs over the weekend. She also gave us periodic photo updates which were greatly appreciated. We'll definitely rebook the next time we need a sitter!”

About: My mother is a veterinarian with her own practice, so I grew up around an abundance of animals and know plenty about caring for them. My career allows me to choose my own schedule, I don't usually have shifts longer than 5/6 hours long. This allows me to take dogs out for walks or to a dog park, or I can just go home and hang out with my cat. I have a large fenced in yard with access to woods, plenty of local trails for dog walks, local lake of your dog likes to swim. Dogs and cats in my home, but there's a good sized guest bedroom that is kept closed of from the rest of my home if you have a pet that is less friendly with others.

“James is an awesome dog and house sitter! He took the dogs on great walks and sent us some adorable pictures while we were away. We came home to two happy, calm pups and a clean, orderly house. Highly recommend!”

About: I am a current medical student in the area who has had dogs around her for her entire life. I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs of all breeds. I am responsible and quick in an emergency. I am also familiar with lots of walking trails in the area! I am a 4th year medical student with a pretty open schedule. Reach out with any inquiries and I will try to accommodate your needs! For pet sitting, I am available to stay at your home to keep your pet company as well as take them outside as often as needed. I am respectful, responsible, and professional in all spaces.

“Kira was great. Our pup keeps looking for her in our guest room after bonding during her stay. She was communicative, responsible, and good with our loving but anxious dog. She took him for hikes and walks, kept our house clean, gathered the mail, etc. We would happily have her pet sit again. And Dozer would be thrilled to see her again.”

“Kasey did a great job with my two weener dogs, Oscar and Lucy. When I got home, they were quite chill and happy which is noteworthy given they have separation anxiety. Kelsey is a great communicator and kept me posted on their wellbeing while I was out of town. I'd highly recommend her!”

“We contacted Julia for a last-minute need, as a death in the family took us out of town. She was very responsive and accommodating and did a wonderful job with our 11-year-old dog! She sent us photos during our time away and gave us ongoing details of how things were going - her observations about our dog were so spot-on that we could tell Julia was paying close attention to him :) She left our house in perfect shape and our dog was happy and well cared for upon our return. We will definitely use Julia again!”

About: I work remotely for an international development organization based in DC. My schedule is flexible, leaving me plenty of time to spend outdoors with some new furry friends! I have always loved taking care of dogs and come from a large, dog-owning family. I have extensive experience dog walking and sitting both small and large breeds, from Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to Labs to Bernese Mountain Dogs! I currently own a 4 year old white shepherd named Storm who loves to walk and play with other dogs. I am open to taking our pups on walks together, on trail hikes, or to the dog park. Available for daily walks, drop in visits, and dog sitting. I look forward to meeting you! Also open to discussing boarding in our home, pending meet and greet with my dog Storm. I work remotely from home, so I am flexible when taking care of dogs. Happy to work with you on a recurring schedule, or for one-time walks/visits! I work remotely full-time from home and my schedule is flexible. I take my dog, Storm, out for short (less than 30 min) and longer walks (over 1 hour) 2-3 times a day. We also enjoy using nearby trails, as well as the trails on our property. I currently live in a farmhouse in Royalton. There is no fenced in area, but we have trails on our property for dogs to walk (on leash) or run (depending on your comfort and their recall).

“Elijah was polite and friendly to us and our reactive rescued pocket bully. He was willing and able to handle her complex feeding instructions, walking peccadillos, and anxieties about people and dogs. Farah looked more relaxed with him in photos he sent than she did with her last pet sitter. Elijah also offered to do any light housekeeping chores we needed, wiped down counters before he left, and even did his own laundry and made up the bed again. Highly recommend!”

“Joanna literally saved our anniversary weekend! After another Rover cancelled on us with less than 48 hours until we left home, she swooped in and saved the day. Plus she was great with my high anxiety pup, and even brought her dog Rhubarb to play! We will absolutely be booking with Joanna again! Thank you for giving us our anniversary weekend back!”

Olive T.
“Olive is my go-to dog and cat sitter. I have two Labrador Retrievers and two Maine Coon cats. My labs love her--she stays overnight (and lets the dogs cuddle in bed with her, which is their preference), walks the dogs, plays with them, and feeds the dogs and cats according to schedule. Olive's mother is my vet--which leaves me to believe that Olive knows how to manage and handle dogs by osmosis!
