About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life which has allowed me to get a better understanding of them as I have taken care of puppies to senior dogs that were 15+ years old. It has taught me how to better interact with them. I currently work a full time job that is from 5 am to 2 pm so I do have plenty of time during the day to care for your pet. From time to time I do occasionally pickup extra shifts on Fridays but they are usually from 5 am- 9:30 am. I currently have Friday and Saturdays off so I can provide full attention to your pet for those days. Let me know if you have anymore questions regarding scheduling. I am happy to answer any questions you have. *If my calendar shows I am unavailable on certain days that you may require, still send me a message, sometimes I can be available but I may have limitations on my time* I do have pets of my own but when there is a new dog that comes to my house, I focus on the interaction between the dogs and if the new pet is introduced to my dogs and feels nervous, I have space to keep my pets and your other pet separate so there is no worries that your pet will feel overwhelmed. While boarding is an option, I usually prefer to be in a client's home as that is where the pet feels more secure and safe without having to stress them in case a client has a dog that is a bit shy to be around other dogs. Regardless of whether I am caring for the pet in my home or in a client’s home, I like to communicate on how their pet is doing.

About: Some quick personal info about my experience. My family has taken care of most animals that you could find in a pet shop. From dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, arachnids, etc. And I understand that your dog needs someone to care for it like family even if it’s for a short amount of time. I currently have a senior dog with my girlfriend (he just turned 10) and he has grown just more affectionate over the years. I’ve taken care my friends’ dogs over the years, from puppies to seniors and even dogs from different households. Emergencies are familiar to me, if it involves being persuasive with getting medication down, topical applications, anxiety meds, or even an emergency visit to a vet, these are situations I have experienced before. Patience and consistency is key when it comes to animals. Even if your dog has a sensitive stomach, I’ve had to take my dog out every 30 minutes for two days, until we got his stomach under control. As long as I can remember, dogs have been a part of my life. And I’d like to put that experience to use for others who have a vacation planned in thr near future. Currently a student with a dog of my own. I share my dog with my girlfriend. He’s large lab mix who is 10 years old! He loves having a friend around and we’d like to keep him socialized through his elder years. Also, very open to sitting in the animal’s own home if the situation calls for it. Animals require a team effort no matter what the environment. I currently live in DTLA in an apartment. Very dog friendly area with plenty of spots for dogs to be comfortable in. I frequent the dog park next to STAPLES Center and also the Silverlake Reservoir. My dog personally enjoys my balcony and gets 3 long walks a day.
