About: I have taken care of dogs for to 20+ years in many different capacities including but not limited to daycare, grooming, training, veterinary kennel technician, in-home pet sitting. I have impeccable references upon request that will confirm my experience. Senior/puppy care available. All ages! I am retired and available upon demand. Dogs are my passion and my references will confirm this. I can come to you or your dog can come to me. Overnight stays will be in my pet-safe home. I have a safe fenced in pen for playtime. I live in the country with many walking paths available for the dogs to exercise and I have a large back yard. I live with my Blackmouth Cur rescue dog and our newly acquired Jack Russell Terrier pup. They both love playing with 'fur-friends'. I will closely monitor your pet while in my care as I am retired and stay with the dogs 24/7. Rest assured!

About: My first Jobs as a child were farm sitting for my neighbors and working on an angora rabbit farm. I have always loved and cherished animals. Animals have been drawn to me my whole life. I developed my skills going into the veterinary field as a technician, I've worked with large animals horses , pigs, cows, llamas , alpacas , tortoise , lizards , snakes, monkeys, even helped in surgery on a lion. I have experience with medications , injections, transdermal , and oral medications . Also subcutaneous fluids . I also have experience with handicapped animals that may need bladder expressions or need potty walks in wheel chairs , experience with this is work and I also had my own wheel chair bound dog. I'm honest and would let you know if I'm not comfortable or feel qualified enough to take care of your babies I will let you know. I've been in the veterinary field over 25 years. I've worked in general practice , urgent care , and specialty /emergency . On weekends I'm available to house/pet sit pretty much anywhere within Maine and even possibly NH , of course allowing me time to get there . Try me I'm always up for a road trip extra fees may apply . Weekends for me are Friday after 6 pm through Tuesday morning when I head out to work . During my work week Tuesday morning through Friday . If you have dogs that need to be let out mid day , you need to be within a 10 minute drive from Warren ave in Portland . That way I can go let them out on my lunch break . If you have cats only or other pets that do not need midday care I can house sit /pet sit anywhere within an hour from Portland Maine . I can travel back and forth to work but be there at night and morning to take care of your pets needs . Always reach out if this doesn't make sense . Your pets care is priority and I will try to help you out but if my availability is not what is best for your friends I will be the first to let you know . I currently do not take pets into my home , just because I am not here most of the day . I will let people know if this changes

From walks, hikes and playing to training and games, I love spending my free time with my four legged friends. Weekends i am free when not taking care or spending quality time with my own pup. I like morning playtimes and long trail or town walks. Always respect the owners wishes for their pet and any restrictions or limitations the dog might have. About: I have been walking & taking care of dogs for years! I am comfortable with any age dog and have experience with younger dogs, including puppies. My schedule is currently pretty open, and I have availability most days of the week to walk or sit your dog! I am open to walking or sitting dogs, including overnight if needed. I fully understand letting someone into your home to watch your dog can be nerve wracking so I like to make sure to ask the necessary questions to ensure I am doing everything to the homeowners standard.

About: I have always had a dog growing up. Currently have a two-year-old pup named Anna K. I also house sit for a friend our mine down the road every now and then. I can be very flexible making myself available. If you can, a couple days notice would be better. But if not, you can still ask! Have tried multiple training techniques with all the dogs we have had, electric fence, leash, a tie-out cable, and some we eventually let out on their own when they are ready. No small objects around, especially as a puppy, try not to feed them anything but their required food.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I make sure they are fed on time, walked regularly, given plenty of attention, playtime, and comfort, and I always keep the home clean and respected. About: I grew up with two cats and have always been surrounded by animals, especially dogs. I have a strong love for pets and understand how I’m important it is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Making animals feel safe and cared for makes me feel so fulfilled. I also have been bathing and doing regular grooming since I was old enough to understand how to. I’ve taken in strays and helped regime them or reunite them. I also took in and nursed back to health a kitty that I witnessed get hit by a car.
