About: Hi! I’m Mercadez, and animals have always been at the heart of my life. I have years of hands on experience caring for pets, everything from feeding and watering to administering medications, giving baths, trimming nails, and making sure each animal gets the love and attention they deserve. I’m also a proud pet parent myself. I recently got my golden retriever puppy, Blue, and I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur baby. From playful puppies to gentle seniors, I’m comfortable with all personalities and temperaments, and I believe in treating every pet like family. I’m employed full-time, but I love doing Rover on the side, not just for the extra income, but because it gives me the chance to spend more time with pets and get both of us some exercise. My job runs on a set schedule for 3–4 months at a time, which means I’m consistent and reliable with my availability. If my work hours ever change, I always communicate in advance so you can plan with confidence. I make sure pet care fits smoothly into my day, whether that’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or evening playtime, so your pet gets the attention and activity they deserve. I live in Daybreak, which is an incredibly dog-friendly community with a variety of parks, both dog specific parks of different sizes and recreational parks perfect for walks and playtime. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I make sure to follow their normal routines so pets feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding on schedule, fresh water, bathroom breaks, medication if needed, and plenty of love and attention. I also make sure they get daily exercise suited to their age and energy level, whether that’s a stroll through the neighborhood, a trip to one of the local parks, or some fun playtime at home. My goal is always to keep them safe, happy, and feeling loved while you’re away.

About: I’ve had a dog for more than half my life, and have fully trained my two current dogs from puppy age. I also have some experience with dogs that require special care, as one of my dogs has different eating requirements like eating upright. I work part time from home so I’m able to spend a lot of time with your pups and give them all the love they need! About: My husband and I have been huge animal lovers since we were kids. You've heard it said by many animal lovers, "I've loved them since I was a child!" However, many cannot beat us when I say we LOVE animals. We grew up on a farm where we both respected and loved our pets. We've trained horses, goats, cats, dogs, rabbits, bunnies, and even helped deliver babies when needed. Ruby : My hobbies include going on runs with my childhood dog Bear, pampering her and teaching her new tricks. As a cattle dog she has been trained to be obedient, careful, strong, fast, patient, loyal, loving and smart. She is my prized student and I love her with my whole heart! Cody: I love to play baseball and fetch with my dog Roxy back in Texas where I am from. I love to go hiking and of course fishing is my favorite sport. I mostly like to relax and watch movies with Ruby but we are always excited to try something new. We do this Together as we are both students and have alternating schedules but I am solely online so I am always homr. We are both dedicated to each other and our pets but in the end we are a very reliable couple who ensures the safety of your fur baby and your home. We look forward to taking care of any fur baby especially yours! Cody and I are both students but I am online and he is in person. He has classes in the morning and I have classes mid day. Someone is almost always home and we are always home in the evenings. I always like to do meet and greets before I care for your pet because I want to make sure we both get along and feel safe around each other.
