About: 10 years dog owner and lifetime cat owner. Very patient and caring with animals. Good at following instructions if special care is needed. Not scared of large dogs. I work part time from home so my schedule is pretty flexible when it comes to pet sitting walks or what ever the job requires. I have two large dogs Rottweiler and Pitt Rottweiler mix and three cats. Dogs are cat friendly. Large yard and crate is available upon request if needed.

About: I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals ranging from farm animals to indoor pets, including dogs, cats, and reptiles. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 reptiles of my own, so daily animal care is already a big part of my life. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, playtime, walks, administering routine care, potty breaks, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and treated like family while in my care. I work full-time as a dental assistant Monday–Thursday, but I’m available before and after work and have full availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I make pet care a priority and can provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and care to ensure your pet feels comfortable and loved while with me. I provide a safe, loving environment and follow each pet’s routine, including feeding, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and lots of attention to keep them comfortable and happy.

About: I’ve lived with and taken care of animals my entire life and I hope to continue! I have my own border collie who’s just about 10 months old and I’ve trained her since she was a puppy! I’m currently working full-time but can freely help during all weekends. Me and my own pup have a set schedule that we follow through to have her meals and exercise! I have a border collie who loves to run about. I enjoy playing and giving her all the exercise she needs and can do the same for other furry friends!

About: I've taken care of many dogs for friends and family members. Trained puppies for family as well as my own. Cared for older dogs who needed extensive care. Provided all types of care such as, walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and sitting. My schedule is very flexible so I have lots of availability. Morning drop offs and pick ups are great but can adjust as needed. Don't hesitate to reach out with questions. I have a spacious yard and only one small dog who gets along well with other dogs. My home does have space for a crate if needed.

About: I love pets! My friends and family call me the pet whisperer! I have a lot of experience ranging from little baby kittens to elderly dogs. I have great attention to detail, and take extra care in getting to know the pets. Whether they are easygoing, or more temperamental, I am up for the job! About: Hi! I’m Jeff I currently have 8yo black/white male Husky named Thorik and a 5yo red/white female Husky named Willow. Willow is actually my sisters dog and stays with her, but her and Thorik are together every day out at our family’s place. They are both well balanced dogs and will get along with anyone who decides to come for a visit. They will kiss you to death though so be prepared! I live on my family’s 180 acre old farm in the country just outside of the Otsego/Alamo area. I am out there every single day, especially in the Summer months, so that Thorik has a safe place to play and swim if he wants. Should you decide to book with me, and with your permission, your pets can enjoy unlimited fenced in yard time along with as much swimming as they’d like! I currently work for a Petcare provider here in Kalamazoo. My week consist of multiple visits for multiple clients a day, this does however allow me plenty of time throughout the day to return home and take care of anything I need to, your pets included! Out at the farm I do have a fenced in backyard away from the road that provides the dogs, a safe, secure place to play. Any time the dogs are not outside playing, or they are at my apartment in the evenings, they are inside the house with me free to do as they please.

About: Hi, my name is Zuri! I’ve been around animals all my life! I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, lizards, geckos, fish, goats, chickens, and so much more! I’m comfortable with dogs of any size, breed, and age! I’ve dog-sat and cared for animals for friends and family for years. Communication is very important to me so I like to keep in touch with all my clients. I am currently available all day Saturday and Sunday and 5 pm- 12 am Monday to Friday! I am available to do overnight stays during the weekend and require only 24 hours' notice for drop-in visits. I have a large backyard and 2-3 other dogs who can keep your pup company! As well as 2 barn cats and chickens! I have a large outdoor crate and a smaller indoor crate if your pup becomes overwhelmed and needs a break. I typically walk my dog 2 miles in the morning, and then play fetch and tug-of-war for an hour after we train for 30 minutes, I do this 3-6 times a day depending on my schedule for the day!

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've been lucky to parent dogs, cats, and horses, including two retired racing Greyhounds and a tuxedo cat who made me a certified cat person. Beyond my own, I've been caring for pets professionally (i.e., beyond friends and family) for more than 15 years, and after taking some time away while completing my PhD and living abroad, I'm excited to be back doing something I've always loved. In 2011, I started walking pups professionally in Chicago as a side gig during my breaks from tour managing for a band, which quickly turned into my dog-walking clients asking me to stay in their home with their pets while they were away. Over the span of just a few years, I built relationships with more than 30 clients, with most of them turning into repeat (and repeat and repeat!) clients. I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes and everything in between. I've also worked with many pets that required extra patience or specialized care. I've cared for senior pets, dogs < 1yo, a blind Australian Cattle Dog, a deaf cat, highly anxious and stranger-wary dogs, VERY stranger-wary cats, a Beagle with a seizure disorder, and pets receiving medication. I've also been the go-to sitter for a couple of families going through difficult times with their critters, including caring for their pets with terminal illnesses during their final days (both a black lab named Maggie and the sweetest deaf black cat named Sam) . Over the years, I've handled a few very unexpected situations as well. Whether it's a medical event requiring an unexpected trip to the veterinarian or even arriving to a cat drop-in visit to find that the apartment had experienced a break-in (in my Chicago days, which included working with police and gathering the terrified cats from the apartment stairwell), I've stayed calm, communicated clearly, and focused on keeping the critters safe and the clients informed. There have also been several occasions where I've extended my stay last-minute due to a client's canceled flight or interrupted travel plans. One of the biggest differences between my prior pet sitting days and now is my flexibility due to my remote work. When I pet sat extensively throughout Chicago, my tour managing days had ended and I worked a full-time 9-5 downtown. This was fine for my clients, as they had a similar schedule. But I now work fully remotely, so I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to spend much more time with your pets throughout the day than I could years ago. I essentially do my best to work around your pet's normal routine. I'm happy to accommodate early mornings, evenings, or midday visits whenever possible. My goal is to make life feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pets while you're away. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I'd expect someone to show mine, as I've also hired pet sitters over the years for my own critters. I follow your instructions (the more the better!), keep you updated with photos (lots!) and messages, and make sure your pets receive the same routines, rules, and attention they're used to (e.g., their feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, cuddle time, or simply keeping them company).

“Took care of our two dogs (young hound and elderly rat terrier) for several days while my family and I were out of town. Kept constant updates which is important as our elderly dog does need sone extra care and attention. On top of caring for our dogs Gina took care of our weekly trash/recycling and daily mail. Sydney (her dog) also got along well with our younger dog and kept each other company by playing all day. I would definitely ask her to watch our dogs again.”
