“We originally asked Caroline if she could walk and feed our two dogs as we were planning to a long day trip. However, we woke up to find our oldest dog not doing very well. It turned out that he had cancer and that we would have to put him down. It was a long agonizing day trying of running tests and considering options before finally deciding that the most humane treatment would be to euthanize. Through all this, we are thankful to Caroline who took care of our remaining fur children--a dog and a cat. It was a great relief to not have to think or worry about them so we could focus on our oldest dog in his time of need.”

About: I have been around dogs, cats, and even horses all of my life. I have experience with puppies, disabled, reactive, senior, and rescue dogs. My pets are met with patience and understanding. If they need something, they are going to get it no questions asked. Your pet will be treated the same! If they need lots of exercise I am happy to accommodate it. If they'd rather be a couch potato and sleep all day, that's fine too!

About: I've taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I've always been a very empathetic person and just love to wave and say hi to dogs going by. I've had dogs of all sizes. My most recent is experience with Chihuahuas. I just love them! I've raised 2 dogs from 8 weeks old. I love all stages of a dogs life, from puppy to senior. I also have experience with senior dogs who need special care and medication. I'm currently working for myself, so I have plenty of time to spend playing, caring, loving and walking with your pets. I'm available M-F 9-6 pm. I like to make sure the pet is comfortable. I want the pet to feel at home with me. The least amount of change from the pets daily activities are important for the pet to feel safe and happy.

About: I am a lifelong animal lover, and have owned dogs, birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters and mice. Currently I own 2 cats with my partner named Rebel and Scout. Growing up my family dogs have included lhasa apsos, dandie dinmont terriers, a german shepherd, and a golden lab. I have experience sitting all types of dogs so whether you have a small medium or large dog, i am comfortable with all sizes. I also was an American Kennel Club junior handler for five years and during that time I showed my lhasa apsos. I have assisted with 4 four litters of lhasa puppies and am experienced with house training, puppy training, care etc. If you have any other questions I would be happy to answer them and look forward to the opportunity to become a friend to your precious pets! :) I am currently a homemaker, and am fortunate to have some flexibility! Just let me know the times/days you need. M-F preferred weekends are negotiable! My preference is to take care of pets at clients home. It is difficult to have other animals inside with the cats however I do have a fenced in area in my yard I can offer for them to be in!

“Elizabeth was great with our Deaux. Super communicative! She took lots of pictures and gave a very detailed report on Deaux’s visit. We will definitely book her again.”

About: I've been taking care of animals for over 16 years now, and I've been around animals for my entire life. I currently own about 20 ducks, a horse, and a cat - I take care of them daily. Over the years I've had chickens, sheep, a bird, a dog, and guinea pigs. I love taking care of animals so much that I was involved in nursing one of my chickens back to health when she lost a wing to a predator. She stayed inside for a while but was more than okay to go back outside after she was healed. Once she was ready to join the rest of chickens, she thrived with the other chickens. For walking at home, I walk on different days for around 1 mile each way, and with animals I love to walk with them. I'm available during most times of the day, as my nights are usually unavailable due to overnights with pets. Some nights will be available, but as of right now it's often booked! Just a heads up is appreciated. I do not have a fence around my property, but I will walk your dog whenever is needed to let them outside. If you don't have a fenced area, I will do the same for your own pet!

About: We’ve always had pets at our house and cousins’ houses growing up, and as you’ve probably seen in my pictures, I always love being around animals! I’m starting a new position in a few months, and since I love animals, I thought that pet-sitting would be the perfect thing to do in the meantime! It is definitely important to make sure that the pets are taken outside often to go to the bathroom and move around with fresh air. It’s also important to read the body language of the pet- some pets need more exercise than others.

In our home, your pet will have plenty of room to roam and play, whether they're chasing toys, lounging in cozy corners, or enjoying some quality cuddle time. I understand that some pets may feel more comfortable in their own crates, and I am more than happy to accommodate those preferences to ensure they feel safe and secure during their stay. Outside of our home, we love to explore and embrace the great outdoors, making long evening walks around neighborhoods or adventures in the woods a regular part of our routine. Whether your pet enjoys a leisurely stroll or prefers a brisk run, we're committed to providing the exercise and stimulation they need to stay happy and healthy. Patricia H.
“Patricia did an outstanding job for us when she pet-sat for our dog and cat! She was friendly, organized, caring, professional, and extremely capable. She also was unfazed by the many details we gave her about caring for our finicky pets, and she followed our instructions to the letter. While we were away, we felt 100% sure that Patricia was taking good care of our animals. We enjoyed receiving updates from her each day. When we returned, we found happy animals and an extremely tidy home. Patricia went above and beyond to do her job with excellence, and we will be delighted to hire her again in the future.”

She is someone who would do anything to make sure an animal is taken care of, no matter the needs. I once watched her nurse a chicken back to health after it was attacked and lost its wing. The chicken pulled through and even grew feathers where her wing used to be. I would trust her with all of my pets because she doesn’t just treat them like pets, but like family.”

“I’ve known Meghan for quite some time, and she absolutely loves animals! She grew up in a family with multiple dogs and cats throughout her childhood years, so she is a natural pet caretaker. She has a calm and loving energy about her that would comfort even the most anxious or rambunctious pets. I know she has two wild and playful puppies at home (a lab and golden retriever), so she is no stranger to high energy pups! From personal experience, she has a wonderful presence around my 80 lb. Pitbull mix, and loves to interact with him by playing ball and going on walks and hikes. I can always depend on her if I need a dog sitter, as she is very punctual and reliable as well. Happy to see she is sharing her gift with others. Love working with Meghan!”
