“Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

I will work from your home if booked for house sitting, so it is required I have a reliable internet connection! - At this time I require m&gs for all house sitting services before bookings, to ensure our expectations meet and to make sure your pet is comfortable with me. For long term house sitting, I highly reccomend a trial run of 1 day of daycare or a drop in visit. I work from home full time so I am available during the workday when most people are away! I love being able to hangout with new friends during my work week. Safety is and always has been my top priority. About: I’ve had a dog all my life. I adopted my most recent pup about 2 years ago and he’s a happy pooch. We walk three times a day and visit our nearby park regularly. He gets his yearly shots and monthly nail trimmings. I am the go-to choice to sit my friends’ pups, and have senior dog and puppy experience. I work from home, so can keep an eye on the pups and play with them regularly. I currently walk my own dog three times a day, visit the nearby park (Harlem rd park) after work most days, and visit Knox Farms dog park once or twice a month in the summer. I have a small yard 90% enclosed, so walk dogs regularly. There are friendly neighborhood dogs that we can interact with. I work from home, so play with the pups often. I promptly clean up accidents, if they do happen. I do not smoke and our house does not have animal smells. It is carpeted and we have a big sectional that animals can lounge on. We have a cat that has high safe places he can go to. I reward good behavior with praise and an occasional treat. Bad behavior is met with a stern “No”, but we have not had to break that voice out lately!

About: Animals have populated my life since childhood where I grew up with chickens, horses, pigs, cows, cats and dogs to adulthood with my own two cats and dog. I have baby/pet/house sat for countless families through word of mouth and professional organizations. My passion is fostering kittens through the SPCA, as well as pregnant/nursing mamas, puppies and dogs. I have experience administering medications, including insulin for diabetic cats. My animal family and I would love to give you peace of mind by caring for your pets when you need extra support. I am currently a homemaker, so your pets would be supervised for their entire stay and have lots of opportunities for walks, playtime and potty breaks. We own our home with a large fenced-in yard on a quiet street so your pet will have ample time outdoors to play and go for walks. My own dog LOVES every dog he has ever met and will be an excellent playmate. Our cats can be sequestered upstairs if your dog is not feline-friendly and my foster kittens/cats have their own separate space to keep everyone safe. I am comfortable with crates as well if your dog enjoys their own den.
