About: I know I love to have the peace of mind when traveling that someone I trust is caring for my pets while I am away and I want to provide that same service to someone else. We recently lost our beloved Dexter after 14 years, so we are very much missing having a dog around to snuggle and take on walks. We also have a cat named Joey and he pretty much keeps to himself (until it is time to eat of course) and 2 small children. I am available to come to your house and give your dog walks and check-ins or anything else you might need. We will be sure to give your baby all the love and care they deserve while you are away :) During the summer months I am off from my full-time job so I have open availability. When school is back in session I am available anytime Monday-Friday after 3pm and open on the weekends. I will follow all guidance from the owner as to how you do things. It’s important to be consistent for your pet while you’re away.

About: I’ve always been around dogs and cats growing up. My grandmother owned an in-home dog grooming business that I assisted with from a young age. I’ve had my own family dogs since the age of 7.  Whenever friends or family have gone out of town, they trusted me to look after their dogs as well as cats. Currently I have a 3-year-old catahoula leopard / lab mix and an 8-year-old brown tabby cat. During the week I work 9-5 from home. I tend to have most of my meetings early in the morning due to time zone differences, meaning I have the majority of the day to look after your dog. On weekends my availability can start as early as 9AM.  I am typically available I don’t ski or snowboard – so you don’t have to worry about me being in the mountains. 1.     There are many outdoor parks near my apartment building, as well as a dog run in the apartment complex itself. My 3-year-old pup is extremely friendly and playful, meaning your furry friend will always have someone to keep them company, should they want a friend.

About: I’ve taken care of many different dogs over the years and have worked at PetSmart as a pets hotel associate. I have two dogs (10 and 3 years old). I’ve also owned four cats and babysat family and friends pets before! I am home all day so I am fully available to provide care to pets. I live in an apartment with two dogs and live in walking distance to a park where my dogs love to walk. I have two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your pet if desired. I am home all day and take my dogs for at least three walks a day and we usually visit a park daily.

She replied within minutes of the initial request and asked to stop by that afternoon to meet my fluffy one and see if it was a good fit. I'm glad it was. She was very communicative and she eased my first-time-leaving-my-dog-with- a-stranger nerves. We chatted about how hot it would be (90+) and she took the dog where they didn't have to walk on the hot pavement much and had some shade. About: My mother had a boarding company so I spent a lot of my childhood helping care for all the doggos. I have also volunteered at numerous shelters & farm sanctuaries & have helped care for even more than just cats & dogs. I also have an 8 year old chocolate lab & 2 five year old kitties myself that I love & care for every day. I am currently working part time, with availability anytime after 4 pm Monday through Thursday! In the next 3 weeks my availability will open up a little bit more! I was raised around both cats & dogs & have a very good understanding of how to read both animals. I have a very soft calm aura as well as a lot of love & patience to build trust with the fur babies.

About: I’ve had a family dog forever! Family and friends are always asking to take care of their pets for a quick walk, potty or dinner. I have my own dog that I take care of so I know how much someone can love their dog as if it’s their child. Your pet will be in good hands! I teach so I am off for the summers. I can drop in over the summer and walk your dog if you’re on a day trip hiking or to the beach! Your dog can even play with mine at a dog park if they get along, she’s up to date on shots and is very friendly! My dog is solely on leash unless she’s in a fenced in area, so I have no problem walking your dog on leash. I have taken care of dogs from 10 pounds to 70 pounds and all sorts of energy levels.

About: I have taken care of my sister dog for 7 months her name was chichi. I had lots of experience with taking her to walks, making sure she used the bathroom on her walks, also bathing her. I am very playful with dogs and make sure they eat and have a clean bowl of water. I work at my other job during the afternoon but I still am available to take care of your pups from 11am - 2:30 pm. I will always keep your pup in company. I love to watch over playful dogs and love to teach them new tricks. I’m a very kind and generous person and comfortable to be around with dogs.

About: Hello, my names MariJo and I'm an ultimate dog lover. I have always had pets since I can remember caring for cats, dogs, bunnies much more. Currently I have a chocolate lab Charlie that is 5 and a mutt Chance who is 1. My schedule is flexible and I'm very active meaning long walks and truly engaging time with your fur baby.I have watched dogs for friends in the past and that's what has lead me here to Rover. I have now spent two years on Rover and adjusting to a new life style back in my hometown looking for a little extra cash. There is nothing better then puppy love so if yours needs a little extra while you're away I'm your perfect sitter!

About: I have been pet sitting for about 15 years, everything from quick play dates to extended stays lasting over a month. I've worked with a variety of dogs including a 13-year old 4 pound chihuahua, a vizla that required 5 or more hours of solid exercise a day, a 160 pound mastiff that thought he was a lap dog, and a very scared dalmatian/husky/german shepherd mix that needed some serious work on social interations. I've dealt with skunk attacks, bee stings, an intestinal blockage and various types of aggression. I AM NOT CURRENTLY ABLE TO STAY OVERNIGHT DURING SITTINGS. I KEPT IT IN MY PROFILE BECAUSE IT IS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN BOOKING MULTIPLE DROP-INS At the end of last year I ended up taking in 3 Doberman puppies that I had dog sat for regularly. I was able to find a home of one of them but the other two are still with me. Because of this I am not able to do extended stays that require me to be gone overnight or dogs that cannot be left alone for a few hours due to separation anxiety or medical reasons. But if your dog is friendly please consider boarding! I currently work from home with flexible hours most of the time. My schedule is very accommodating and I love being able to take advantage of nice weather or last minute requests. The yard where I am is NOT fenced in, but it is very large with several acres of wooded area in the back. For dogs that need to stay on leash there is a long tie out and plenty of walks. I never let the dogs play outside without supervision. There are two other friendly dogs on the property (in addition to my own 2) and two dogs next-door that come over to play all the time. So we have our own mini, well-mannered, well-socialized dog park.

About: I absolutely love all the dogs!!! I’ve fostered more than 20+ dogs in the past 2 years — all different breeds, sizes, ages, and even some with medical cases. Fostering has given me so much experience and I’m so grateful. Excited to use the experience that I’ve gained to give your dog the best stay with me! I’m home hanging out with my 2 dogs whenever I’m not at work. I do work 3 days a week as a registered nurse. I’m very flexible with my schedule and can help board your pup during the week/weekends! I have 2 dogs of my own. I have an Australian Shepard mix (6 years) and a Siberian Husky (10 years). They get along great with other dogs. I do have a fenced in yard. I’m ok if your dog isn’t crate trained, but I would prefer it only when we’re gone at work. Other than that I’m super easy going and very flexible with whatever your dogs needs are!

About: There hasn't been a time in my life when I haven't cared for dogs. They are the purest form of unconditional love and I strive to offer them the fun, joy and love they are so deserving of. I currently enjoy a flexible schedule, so most times am able to work around your schedule easily for in-home visits for puppy play time or walks. I am able to care for your dogs in the comfort of their home, either for snuggle and play visits, overnight care, or adventure walks!

About: Chilling with pets is my favorite self-care! I have been taking care of cats and dogs for over 20 years. My speciality is rescue animals and all of my cats over the years have been from shelters. I've taken care of all types of cats and dogs from pugs to German Shepards, from kittens to senior cats. I am very gentle, compassionate, and give great pet back scratches! I currently work as a social worker and my schedule is very flexible. This means I am available outside a traditional Monday - Friday 9am-5pm schedule. I follow your instructions like a recipe and am proactive about asking questions related to the care of your pet. In addition, my former roommate is a practicing veterinarian and is on-call for me 24/7. :)

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl, including my special needs diabetic schnauzer, helping with insulin injections and pills. Now I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. We love to walk by the outer harbor and play outside when the weather is nice! I’m a 4th year medical student, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I have daily availability and lots of energy for walks and playtime with your fur babies! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I live in an apartment near the outer harbor. I prefer staying at a client’s house where your pets will be most comfortable! We love to go for walks and I have experience walking up to 3 dogs at once on my waist leash.

About: Thankyou for considering me to watch something so important to you. A little about me, I own 1 Siberian Husky and 1 German Shepherd. One is 8 years old the Shepherd is about to turn 2.
