About: I’ve loved animals since a child. I have 2 decades of experience taking care of dogs. I love to give them affection and care for them. I’m currently working from home so I have lots of flexibility to care for pets. I am home nearly 90% of the time. Pets are friends! I have a large backyard where I have a temporary fence and enclosed play area for your pets. It is safe and the home is secure. My husband and I work together as we both enjoy working with animals.

Today was a visit to see how the dogs responded to Mackenzie when we weren't around, and fortunately that went well. Mackenzie kept us in the loop from the time she headed to our home until the visit was complete, and sent a bunch of really cute pictures of our pups. Scooby is a bit of a nervous dog so we weren't certain how he'd do, but he reportedly responded well. We would definitely have Mackenzie care for our pups again!”

About: I have 16 years of grooming experience so I’ve cared for many fur babies all breeds and sizes! Medically I only have topical and oral experience for medications. I’m currently a stay at home mom so your furry baby will have tons of attention and love! My schedule is pretty flexible so we can always talk something out! I have a golden retriever who loves making new friends! She’s a bit on the nervous side when it comes to seeing new humans but she warms up rather quickly. Let’s not also forget my 3 little humans! About: I have taken care of all different kinds of dogs ranging from small Shih Tzus to Great Danes. I have two dogs myself that I've had for 6 years now and I had dogs growing up, so I am very well versed in both younger and older dogs. I have had to help take care of puppy litters before and I really enjoy working with dogs. My dogs are very high energy, so I have learned to love playing fetch and taking long walks multiple times a day. I am able to match their high energy; however, I am just as able to work with lower energy dogs. I believe that all dogs deserve the best care and love possible, so I hope to work with people who want the same for their dogs. I also have experience working at the Fredericksburg Squishy Face Crew which is a non-profit animal shelter. I worked at their intake warehouse playing with the dogs outside and cleaning. I don't currently have any other immediate obligations, so my schedule is very flexible, and I am open most weeks. I have my own car, so transportation to and from houses is never going to be an issue. I am willing to work with you to find a schedule that works best, and I can schedule my personal obligations around that. I would care for your pets based on your description of their eating habits, energy level, and the environment around the house. I would be happy to take walks around the neighborhood, or if this is not possible, I am happy to use my car to take your dog to a park to walk. If you would rather us stay at the home, I would aim to still play with your dog if prompted by playing with toys. I am happy to feed your dogs with whatever material is provided and make sure that they have constant access to water and the bathroom.
