About: With over 6 year in the veterinary field, I have experience in general practice, emergency and critical care, as well as surgery. My professional interests include client education, patient welfare, and emergency medicine. I’m CPR certified in both basic and advanced life support as well as fear free certified. I have a special passion for bully breed dogs but I enjoy working with animals of all breeds, sizes, and ages, as well as exotics — including all small mammals and reptiles. As a life long pet owner and full time veterinary nurse, most of my time is spent around animals providing excellent care. At work, I enjoy building relationships with my patients and their owners. In my free time, I enjoy relaxing with my dogs (Scarlett and Smokey) and my cats (Gino and Bandit). As a fear free certified professional, I am skilled in tailoring care to best suit each pet's individual needs. Aside from my training in animal behavior, I also have a strong passion for pet care - maximizing the overall wellbeing of each pet.
“Adrienne was very thorough in taking care of our fur babies. She went above and beyond telling us how our cats were doing and sending pictures with each visit. She interacted with the cats and even the antisocial one liked her. As anxious fur baby parents, the peace of mind that she gave us was priceless. We will definitely be rebooking with her and highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies.”

About: I have been around dogs all my life, mostly big mutts, and actively caring for the family dog since the age of 10. I trained my parents last 2 labradors (always a fun breed). I have elderly dog experience both with a big malamute/shepherd mix and a diaper wearing rat terrier. So I am used to the individualized care that different dogs need. On the fun side of things, long walks, fetch and tug o war are my specialities! I can groom, bathe, give medications, play, walk, run, snuggle, scratch and provide whatever care you prescribe for your favorite family member! I currently work from home with a flexible schedule so I can run on your schedule. If dog sitting, I only need an couple hours in the afternoon to walk my parents dog. If your pup enjoys other dogs and you are comfortable with it they can come along too. My own 3 year old dog is walked at least 4 times a day. He is a lab so he enjoys long walks and trips to the beach, bay, hiking trails, and dog park. I make sure he gets tug of war time and he loves my cats laser pointer. We keep him supplied with dry food at all times because he does not overeat. He gets wet food once a week and an ample supply of people food whenever anyone is in the kitchen. But this is just how my family cares for our pups. I will strive to interrupt your dog's normal routine as little as possible.
About: I have foster dogs for the last two years. I am currently fostering my 7th dog, I have owned dogs my whole life and my dream is to open my own sanctuary one day. I’ve fostered small dogs And big dogs, i’ve potty trained, crate trained, and house trained every single one of my Foster’s. I have experience with fear based, anxious and reactive dogs. I spend my free time volunteering at the shelter to help walking & socializing the dogs. My dogs are my children, and they are so spoiled beyond belief. I’m currently working part time so I’m pretty much home all day dedicating my time to my fur babies, making sure they get plenty of mental and physical exercise. I’m big on mental enrichment/stimulation and excersise. I will make sure your dog is taking good care of! I love to play ball/fetch with my dogs, I play a lot of puzzle games, I take them for a run or car ride to sniff & tire themselves out.
About: I have experience with cats with health issues and giving medications. My 18 yr old has CKD and a few other issues he gets supplements for that keep him going. I have volunteered with cats at an animal shelter and helped with dog adoption events as a dog handler. My schedule is very open at the moment so I'm available for whatever is needed. I have 3 cats so I do need to be home several times a day to care for them. My cats are indoor only but I take my 18 year old out on a leash on walks around the yard, but he mostly prefers to be carried. I'm happy to take other cats on walks if they are harness trained, or just play with them indoors. Dogs I will walk of course and play with as needed.
“Sally was so great with our corgi puppy Finn. She was always quick to answer, extremely reliable, and competent. I’ve never had someone walk him before so I was very nervous, but she gave Finn so much love, treats, and even a new toy! Above and beyond! Thank you so much Sally!!”

“I'm so grateful to have had Sade watching my pup while I was out of town! She was super flexible and made herself available when I ended up needing to add several days to the booking at the last minute. She sent me awesome pictures and updates at every single visit. My dog can be quite anxious and reactive, especially with strangers, and it was clear from the meet and greet we did as well as all the updates I received that Sade was confident, patient, loving, and attentive and, as a result, my pup was completely at ease with her. I highly recommend her for any pet care needs you have!”

“Jamie was fantastic and great at communicating. She took really good care of our dogs and rabbit. After the nightmare we had with another sitter on Rover, Jamie was a great relief. I would highly recommend her!”

About: Neighbors and friends have always relied on me to watch their pets. Will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is taken care of and that you feel satisfied/comfortable. Like any normal pet owner you want to hear how your pet is doing and if everything’s going okay. I will be sure to send updates. I will make sure everything goes smoothly and no issues come up. Sometimes things do happen and if they do I will contact you immediately. My availability is always open and I am open to accommodate. I am open and available. Just let me know dates and times and we can try to make it work; if not, I’ll let you know. I do not have a fenced in yard at my place so I wouldn’t leave them outside alone. Going to a clients home I will access situation and go from there; if they need food, water, play, or walk.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have spent years learning how to care for them through owning dogs and helping friends with theirs. I have experience walking dogs, feeding them, spending time with them, and making sure they get the attention and care they need. Being a dog owner has taught me responsibility, patience, and how to understand different dog personalities and needs. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and am committed to providing safe, reliable, and caring service while owners are away. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or basic care, I’ll treat every dog with the same attention and respect that I give my own. I’m currently working for a golf club. My availability may vary. But very flexible and willing to work times out with the pet owner. I will make sure to treat all pets with the care I would show my own dogs. I will also follow all instructions from owner.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Somers Point
Sterlin was fabulous! It was our first time using Rover and she put our mind at ease, answering all of my questions leading up the visit -- and on the visit day, she arrived promptly, fed our fur babies and took them out. The pictures she took were so appreciated! Wouldn't hesitate to use her again!

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience with Deborah (Debbie) as our dog sitter! She took such incredible care of our dog, Hoops, and we truly could not have asked for a better person to trust while we were away. From day one, she was professional, reliable, and so thoughtful. She consistently left detailed notes and sent plenty of photos, which completely put our minds at ease and made us feel connected to Hoops the entire time. What really set her apart was how much she genuinely cares. She went above and beyond—often staying longer than expected just to make sure Hoops was happy and comfortable. It was so clear he was being showered with love and attention. She played with him, walked him, gave him tons of affection, and treated him like her own. Because of her, we were actually able to relax and fully enjoy our vacation knowing Hoops was in the BEST hands. That peace of mind is priceless. We can’t recommend Debbie highly enough—she is truly exceptional, and we are so grateful for everything she did for Hoops!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
