About: I've had dogs my whole life and currently own 2. After college I was briefly a certified dog trainer. I've owned, cared for, or worked around a large variety of dog breeds and personalities, with their ages ranging from very young to elderly or end of life care. Animals are at the core of my life. As a teen I volunteered several summers at the Oregon Zoo working with many animal species. In college, I volunteered at a wildlife rehab center, and completed an internship with the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia, Africa. I respect individual animals, and meet them where they're at. Regardless of the situation, I try to adapt to their mood while helping to fulfill their needs so they can live their best life. I'm a work from home mom who also spends time talking care of my kids and grandma. Generally my schedule is pretty flexible each day. I truly live by the Golden Rule. I respect other people, their space, and (most importantly) their pets - as if they were my own. Animal always get my love in addition.
About: I have always been “dog” person. I got my first dog when I was 5 and have had multiple dogs since. I was a dog walker for neighbors and friends during adolescence and my teen years. I will make sure your dog is well taken care of! I am currently of of work for the summer because I work for the school district. I have a lot of extra free time to occupy. I have a huge yard and a crate if needed! I also have an 11 year old who loves dogs and would love to interact with some new, friendly puppers.

About: I love all critters and have an especially soft place in my heart for the elderly and/or disabled. I started by volunteering for neighbors friends on trips or working 12 hours shifts, just to stay busy, and it was awesome to see how my daily visits helped their overall health over time. Visiting with critters is always the highlight of my day. I move slowly, carefully, speak softly, so my energy is a great fit for older or anxious animals. I love them all, and every step. Greeting, walking, playing, chilling, pets and massage, special diets, and I have no problem helping administer medicine or any extra special care that is needed. It would be an honor to be of service for you and your fur baby :) I am flexible and available, single, no kids, and also a home care worker. I only work 4 hour shifts, so pet care can very easily fit in and around my other work schedule. When I meet you and your pet, you can show me the care routine, and I will confirm that I understand every step. What works well is if the supplies are visible and steps are also written down and left somewhere I can refer to if needed. I will take photos to either text or email you while I am at your home with an update for each visit.

Wendy is seriously amazing and went above and beyond! She helped us out super last minute and even took the time to come over beforehand to meet all of our fur babies and make sure everyone was comfortable with her. We’ve had other sitters before, but the level of care Wendy gave them was just different. She was so thorough and compassionate and really paid attention to each of their individual needs. She refreshed their water at every visit, spent plenty of time playing with them and giving them attention, and genuinely treated them like they were her own. Her communication was also amazing. She sent detailed updates and pictures every visit, so we always knew exactly how everyone was doing. Our dogs got so comfortable with her that they didn’t even bark when she came in anymore! I almost want to go out of town more knowing we have Wendy to take care of them lol! But really, it’s such a good feeling knowing we can leave and genuinely not have to worry about our animals.
