About: We are a dog family with a pack of 2. We have worked with local rescues in the past to volunteer our home and time to foster heeler puppies. Our dogs are social and love having friends to play with. Our large fenced yard allows for lots of running, playing or lazy sunbathing. We have experience with young puppies and just went through a season of caring for and saying goodbye to our senior ladies. Our home and hearts are open to making many new doggo best friends. My spouse and I work opposite shifts so we have ability to spend time with the dogs in our home. Our youngest is still training (only 4 months old) so we make sure that the longest the dogs are left alone is 3 hours. We have a fenced yard and 2 Dogs of our own (4 year old Great Pyrenees and 4 month old Kelpie Mix) that love to socialize and make friends. My spouse is at OSU taking classes and preparing to apply to Veterinary school. We have volunteered with a local rescue to foster heeler puppies and have helped 7 puppies find their forever homes. We love giving dogs the opportunity to live their best lives possible.
About: I worked at a pet boarding facility for a 7 years before I moved. I am a fast learner and choose to have the pet accept me before moving on to anything else. I shadowed groomers and vets to be sure the road I was taking would assure me happiness with animals and still plenty of time with my own animals. Working with the boarding facility I learned pets are different without there parents and can act differently around them so learning their likes and dislikes personally is a must for me. I want to make sure Pets and Parents are happy with me as help. I want both parties to feel safe, happy, and well rested when staying with me. I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule. I would be able to come for an early morning and evening walk or adventure if needed. I have two dogs that are high energy. We often go to parks, take long walks, or swimming during hot days. I do have a kennel and a large vehicle for transport.
“Katelyn was an amazing host, she was so good with Chaucie, and loved his time with Gus. She was very attentive to him, did everything asked in making him feel comfortable. Sent pictures and video to update me, will definitely use her again”

“Dan and Dave took great care of our fur baby and she was healthy and happy when I picked her up. They provided a super clean and secure environment with care and affection for our pup. Will definitely be calling on them again.”

About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! I am available to do longer stays given that I work remote and love making pets feel safe and comfortable whilst their owners are away. I have a fenced-in yard and 2 friendly dogs (lab and border collie mix) to keep your furry loved one company! I also play music often for myself and for the dogs. I find it helps soothe some anxiety for them as well!

“Christina did a great job watching our two cats while we were out of town. She was responsible and attentive, we had one small hiccup with our lock box key but she was patient and willing to be flexible for us while we figured out how to get her a new key. We will definitely keep Christina in mind for future visits!”

About: I’m a veterinary technologist who has been working in human medicine for the past decade. I miss caring for and interacting with all my four legged friends. I grew up with all sorts of pets( horses, dogs, cats, fish, chickens, parakeets, reptiles) and have always been an “animal” person. I am comfortable giving medications and I am very detail oriented. I have been described as responsible, reliable, and respectful. I know hard it can be to leave your furry family member with someone new. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and health would be my top priority. I would love to meet your dog or cat(or horse,or chickens,or livestock, or reptiles!) and love them like my own(who aren’t spoiled at all ;) ) I currently work part time, so I would have plenty of time to make sure your pet is properly cared for daily. I do not work on the weekends and would be happy to walk or play with your dog/cat all weekend. I am quick to respond to any potential issues that may arise in the moment. I am keen on reading pets behaviors and body language and can act appropriately. I am very responsible and respectful not only of your pets, but of your space as well.
About: Hello! Animals are my passion and have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up taking care of a working ranch and was riding before I could walk. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, birds, horses, and livestock animals as well as some exotic animals. Through school, I did a lot of pet sitting regularly for neighbors and friends around the valley so I am familiar with caring for pets who require special care. When I got into college, I went to school for veterinary medicine but due to life circumstances, I had to begin pursuing another career. Now, I am working as a dog trainer with a good understanding of animals and some veterinary knowledge to help along the way. If you ever need help with dog training, just ask! While I am caring for your pet(s), I will play with them, take dogs on walks as the weather allows, and make sure your pets feel loved while their parents are away. I am dedicated to providing the best care possible and look forward to meeting you soon! I currently work evenings and my partners work mornings so one of us will always be available to stay with your critters. I am very flexible and organized so any pets we watch blends right into our routine like they're our own. I am willing to work with you to make sure your pet can stay on the routine they are used to and feel loved while they are away from you to help limit their stress. I, with your permission, will provide daily walks for dogs, exercise, and entertainment. I have experience with animals that require special care and I am familiar with giving them medication. I will play with cats and can teach tricks to both cats and dogs. I will use any treats and toys provided to avoid any possible allergic reactions and your pets will be treated like a part of our family when in my care.

About: • Veterinary student • Fear Free • *pending BLS/ALS RECOVER CPR certification coming 05/16* • • Transparent, reliable, and attentive care backed by extensive clinical experience • I’m Jennifer, a 2nd yr veterinary student at Oregon State University with an interest in small animal medicine and feline-centered care. I have 10+ years of hands-on experience working with (primarily) dogs and cats in both shelter and clinical environments. I began volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society, where I provided daily care and enrichment for incoming and resident animals. I later worked as a veterinary assistant in a small animal general practice clinic for 4–5 years, gaining extensive experience with patient handling, client communication, and medical care in a fast-paced setting, while completing a bachelors in pre-veterinary medicine and a wildlife management certificate. To supplement my extensive academic training, I have pursued Fear Free Certification and Cat Friendly Veterinary Practitioner certification to better understand how to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in animals in the shelter and clinic environment. I carry those principles into every visit, prioritizing calm, low-stress care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and personality. In addition, I am fully bonded and insured, and I maintain independent professional coverage beyond Rover platform protections. Currently, I am progressing on completing the BLS/ALS CPR certification through the RECOVER Initiative (the evidence-based standard used in veterinary medicine) and I will officially have that achievement met on May 16th! Additionally, I am continuing to expand my Fear Free certification in the coming weeks to include a higher tier of canine/feline care and a broader range of species in general. I am comfortable administering medications through a variety of routes and have experience caring for multiple species, including dogs, cats, and backyard poultry such as chickens and turkeys. While the majority of my experience is within the small animal realm, I have additional experience with a variety of species. Providing these services are an extension of my training and long-term career in veterinary medicine. I strive to provide thoughtful, consistent care so you can feel confident that your pet is in capable hands. One of my goals is to maintain your pet’s routine, while also monitoring for subtle changes in behavior or health while you’re away. I am currently transitioning into a full-time veterinary assistant role in a clinic in Eugene, OR, but I will do my best to accommodate any services in my time outside of the clinic. Thank you for sticking around to learn about me. I’d love to meet your fur kids! I am currently a 2nd year veterinary student that has needed to take a medical deferral for a year. I plan to return to OSU CCVM to finish my doctorate degree, during the Winter 2027 term. During the month of May '26, I expect to be transitioning into a veterinary clinic job in Eugene, OR. I will do my best to accommodate all requests in the meantime and I will be transparent about any scheduling conflicts. I am hoping to spend the next year focusing on my health, continuing my veterinary learning at a pace that suits my current needs, spending time with my cats and my partner, and exploring OR. I will reliably provide updates on the status of your pets and provide immediate reports if I notice anything abnormal or medically concerning during our visit. I am always available to be contacted if there are any concerns during the services or leading up to the services. In my time off from veterinary school, I plan to pursue BLS/ALS RECOVER CPR certification in Portland, OR in mid May. Fingers crossed that I am able to find a class with space but I will update my profile once I have official certification shortly! How cool to have a legit medical professional as a pet/house sitter while you're away! 😎 On top of being an approved Rover sitter/covered by the Rover guarantee, I have additional insurance coverage and am bonded through an external company to simply give myself and your family peace of mind while you're away!

About: I bond easily with cats and dogs. I am gentle, patient and give 100% to all the fur babies in my care. I enjoy entertaining and caring for these special critters. While with me, I am observant and provide the kind of interaction the pet wants. This could be anything from a massage to hiking and play at a beach with a variety of toys. I always want your pet to feel warm and welcome. I believe walking is the best medicine, so I’m game to go out no matter the weather. I don’t feed people food to them but am happy to give appropriate treats and lots of praise. I have been taking care dogs for 15 years. Dogs are considered my family bond

I’m a SAHM to a 1.5 year old daughter who loves animals. I have a fenced in yard with grass to play in and a nice neighborhood to take walks in. I don’t mind pets getting on the furniture (as long as you allow it too) and have a large kennel available, if that is what your pup feels most comfortable sleeping in.

I am flexible with what your pet needs, and am comfortable with giving oral or IM medications, special needs, and generally any dog. I have experience working as a vet receptionist as well as a vet assistant for both large and small animal. I have spent much of my life with horses, dogs and even some variety of small exotic animals. I am knowledgeable about basic dog body language and training making it easy for me to handle most canines! I live in a dog friendly house with indoor areas for dogs to play, including a VERY large fully fenced back yard. About: “Hello Furparents! Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile! I know it can be scary to leave your loved ones with a stranger, so I want to make sure your fur babies think of me as an extension of their home. I have grown up on a farm so I bring a mix of both professional and personal experience in animal care. Growing up on a farm, I have always been passionate about animals and have understood animal behaviors and needs from an early age. Animals are just like people, unique with different personality traits, and it is important to me to care for your baby in their own special way. Not only do I welcome them into my home, but I also welcome them into my heart. My current dog, Bella, was a long-time client for years whom I happily took in when her mom moved to another country. She has been my greatest companion ever since. I wish I could accept all my requests, but I have recently increased my prices to keep up with my demand. If my rate is too expensive for your current budget, I completely understand and hope that you might be able to book with me in the future. I take pride in my excellent rating and my relationship with my clients. I provide healthy treats (with permission) free of charge and always have plenty of new toys to keep even the most active pup busy. Investing in the animal’s health and well-being creates a happier time for everyone. You can have peace of mind and look forward to plenty of pictures and video updates of your little fur babies until you are reunited. I look forward to meeting you! As I said before your fur babies have my full attention and I will follow their routine as close as possible allowing them to settle in and adapt to the new surrounding more quickly. I can either take them for hikes or simply walk them around the block. I also enjoy snuggles on the couch as well (: My main concern is that you and your furbaby feel safe and welcome in my home. I introduce the dogs in a slow and calm environment and have never had any problems with dog fights or dogs escaping when with me.
About: I am a caring and compassionate dog lover. Dogs are like family to me; I have owned and been taking care of friends and families dogs for well over 10 years. I’ve never met a dog in my life that I didn’t like! I have been known for having a way with animals, and will go the extra mile for your doggies always! I enjoy spending my time outdoors, so I can take your doggies to the park, on a walk, and if preferred, a hike or adventure to get them the exercise they need. I can also travel up to 50+ miles for house sitting requests! So if you are some ways away, do not hesitate to contact me still. I have no major schedule constraints, so I can really cater to just about anyone’s needs. I also am very flexible with making adjustments and arrangements to fit your schedule as well. I work remotely, so rover is the perfect job to pair as I completely control my schedule. I can be with your animals during the day and the evening to assure they get the best care while you are away :) I treat your animals and home as they are my own. I send my clients photo updates daily, and love to stick to the routines of the clients so the animals stay happy.

We have definitely found Opi’s home away from home!!! If you’re looking for an awesome sitter for your fur baby, look no further!!!”

“Shay was great to work with! Dennis had a great weekend and I got regular updates and pictures on how he was doing! Would definitely use her again in the future. Thanks for taking such great care of our Dennis:)”
