“Amanda and Eric are amazing! My dogs came back relaxed and happy! This was our second time having our dogs stay with Amanda and Eric. The first time they were a bit nervous. But, the second time, when we pulled up to their house, my dogs raced to their door to see them. We got regular updates and photos. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my pups with them. Also, our flight was delayed and we ended up picking them up the following morning because we did not return home until midnight. They were super accommodating and responded immediately when I asked if they could extend the stay due to the delay! 5/5. Definitely would recommend!!!”

Also I had horrendous drop off and pick up times due to delay flights and she was more than willing to accommodate. About: I’ve grown up around dogs, mostly Pit Bulls, and have always been comfortable caring for and being around them. I also cared for my own dog for over a year after getting her when she was around 6 months old. She had a difficult past and had already had puppies at a very young age, so she needed extra patience, trust, and consistency. I worked with her and taught her basic commands, and she became very responsive to me. I’m currently available for pet care any day and at flexible times throughout the week. Starting August 31, I’ll be attending school Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Outside of those hours, I’ll still have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and other pet care needs. My school schedule is consistent each day, so I’m able to plan my availability reliably around it. I treat every pet in my care like they are my own. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owner is away. I make sure they are fed on their normal schedule, have fresh water, get their walks and exercise, and have plenty of playtime and attention. I also enjoy playing with their favorite toys and getting to know their personality and routine. I understand that some pets may take a little time to warm up to someone new, so I’m patient and let them get comfortable with me at their own pace.

“Marlene was so kind to watch our two dogs for a month while we went on an international trip. Our 9 month old golden proved to be quite the handful and definitely needed access to more regular exercise or an enclosed outdoor space. Marlene took it in stride and provided great care. If you have a larger dog or one that needs significant daily exercise (maybe you usually let them out in your fenced yard?), then Marlene may not be the best fit. Otherwise, she’s compassionate, attentive and flexible - we’d definitely use her again for our doxie who is smaller and has less energy.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience raising my own golden retriever, who is now seven months old. I’ve personally taught her everything she knows—from basic commands to leash manners and good social skills—and she’s already a very well-behaved dog. This experience has given me a lot of patience and understanding of the consistency puppies need to thrive. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, including seniors, and always pay close attention to each pet’s unique routines and personalities. Whether it’s reinforcing positive behaviors, keeping an energetic puppy engaged, or providing a calm environment for an older dog, I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I work in healthcare, so I usually only work 2 to 3 times a week, and during the time that I work. My boyfriend is usually at the house! So there’s always somebody here! I have a fence yard, as well as a big space! And the clients home, I will do my best to maintain their rules, as well as routine for the pet sake, as well as for my sake!!
