“Chloe, thanks for watching our pups while we were traveling! They came back happy and tired from all the walks and playtime they got with you and your family. We’re already looking forward to coming back!”

“Lexi watched our dog, Dennis, while we were away for a long weekend. She was easy to book and communicative, and he came home happy and tired! We would love to use her services again.”

“We had such a great experience with Lisa! This was our first time boarding Nelson and we were nervous going in, but within a few hours we could tell he was in the best hands. We couldn’t believe she got our usually pretty mellow dog out hiking and to farmers markets — stuff we never expected him to do! It was so clear he trusted her and had a blast, and he came home with the biggest smile. She kept us updated the whole time and communicated so well before and during the visit. We’ll 100% be booking with her again!”

“We have boarded our dog Ella with Lourdez and her family on multiple occasions. Lourdez always takes great care of our dog, ensures she gets outside for walks or hikes, and treats her as part of the family. She sends frequent updates and communications are easy. We are very happy to have Lourdez as our sitter!”

“Zankhana was a wonderful sitter and will use her again. She provided a lot of updates and pics while she had Kevin which is exactly what I needed to put my mind at ease.”

“Heather has cared for Koda twice and she is amazing! I appreciate that she keeps me up to date with pictures and my guy always looks happy and relaxed. We love Heather!!”

“Amanda and Eric were such wonderful, kind sitters. I can't recommend them highly enough! The day before my booking was supposed to start, one of my girls got attacked by another dog and needed stitches on her ear and routine medication. I offered cancellation if they weren't comfortable with that, but Amanda assured me that her training as a nurse meant treating wounds was no problem at all. My girls got lots of walks, lots of love, and proper medical care. Choosing Amanda and Eric was such a blessing!”

“Cynthia is great to work with and great with our dogs. The dogs love staying with her, she was great with all their food and medications, too. She also sends photos of the dogs during the stays, so that's an extra added bonus!”

“Our dog had her first visit with Andreea, which was her first time boarding without her siblings. So, wasn’t quite sure how she’d do by herself. Andreea and her family ensured that her stay was as similar and comfortable as would normally be at home - making her stay a “home-away from home” experience!! She seemed to have enjoyed her stay and did great!! Thank you Andreea for your kind loving care of our elderly dog and making it a very pleasant experience!! We definitely recommend to others looking for that same level of excellent care!!”

“We had an amazing experience with Leslie. She is so professional and caring. She treated our pup like her own by spoiling him with car rides to the park, walks, treats, and toys. She kept us updated with pictures and videos. We felt confident he was receiving attention and care while we were away on vacation for a week. We cannot recommend Leslie enough!!”

“Kim took wonderful care of Louie, my elderly min pin. I could tell in the pictures she sent and in his demeanor when I picked him up that it was a very calm and positive stay for him. His health issues make taking care of him a bit more complicated than younger pups, but Kim was wonderful about accommodating his needs. I love the fact she takes only smaller dogs because my small and elderly little guy didn’t seem nervous about being trampled by the pack. Kim let him come on in and make himself at home. She is amazing and my only worry is she will be discovered and there won’t be room for Louie the next time I call. ❤️”

“Wendy and her family took amazing care of Stormy our sweet Maltese. She also has a Maltese and specializes in small dogs which is why i chose her. She kept in close touch and sent frequent pictures during Stormy's stay. I highly recommend Wendy and will definitely book future stays with her as the need arises.”

“Chris is an excellent host & a great guy. Just by talking to him, you'll come to learn the kind of observation he makes about dogs & level of care he provides. He shared good feedback about our dog and gave me a couple of tips/ideas through our conversations and I intend to make those happen. He also sent photos every day with small and funny messages to go with; which made the kids happy while our family was away on a trip. If you're reading these reviews and considering Chris, we highly recommend him! Thanks, Chris for taking care of Rubble!”

“Katie and Quixem were awesome! They asked plenty of questions during our meet and greet which provided a great deal of confidence. The home environment seemed very safe and welcoming. I felt very pleased with my entire experience and I’d happily use Katie and Quixem’s services again.”

“Theresa and her family were fantastic caretakers of our pups. She sent lots of photos and kept us updated throughout each day. Her and her husband have such a calm, welcoming demeanor that my pups loved. They felt right at home!”
“Sammy must have had a great time at their place, as he was super tired at the end of the day and slept through whole night without any more play time or treats. Note: Sammy is a high energy dog and doesn’t get tired easily. He does 4-5 mile walks everyday and still needs more play time. Another thing to note about Sammy: he has a tendency to mark at new places. We specifically gave bellybands with him. But somehow they managed to keep him off bellybands and off marking their place. Which is amazing! Sammy will definitely visit them again many times, and I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you Xiaoshan & Xiuli for taking care of Sammy!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Romy! She took excellent care of Uni and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and could tell our dog was happy, comfortable, and well loved. Romy was reliable, communicative, flexible and treated our dog like her own. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring sitter.”

Lexi was fantastic with Kona! This was Kona's first time staying with a sitter, and Lexi made it completely stress-free for us. She sent photos to let us know Kona was happy and settling in well — communication was top-notch. We were referred to Lexi by a friend and now we totally get why. Will definitely book with her again!

We highly recommend booking Koching to care for your pets! We have booked two stays over the last few weeks and have been very impressed. Our dog comes home happy and well cared for. We receive regular updates while our dog is in Koching’s home and can tell in the photos he is happy and enjoying his stay. We will continue to book Koching for any future rover stays!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Harman Heights home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Harman Heights.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Harman Heights sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
