We've used Lexi a few times now and we highly recommend her. Shelby starts whining as soon as she knows we're getting close to her house. She kept us well informed and sent pics, she also was quick to reply to any messages or questions we had while away. She has a fantastic back yard, fully fenced and huge. About: Growing up, my family welcomed many rescued animals into our home, from a beagle mix and a golden retriever to a Jack Russell terrier, turtle, guinea pig, bunny, and even a horse. “If I could give Manish 6 stars I would! He agreed to watch my two Malinois last minute, one of whom is a bit reactive. He prioritized a meet’n’greet to make sure all dogs felt comfortable; I was at ease instantly seeing him work the dogs through calming exercises to get to know each other. My reactive pup calmed down within minutes and ended up having a great time with his dog, Odin. He sent photos during their doggy day care visit and the pups came home happy and tired. We only watch one dog at a time so that we can provide each fur baby with their own special love and care. My family has four dogs back home, kimchi (pitbull lab mix), Indy (German shepherd mix) Louis and Rene (daschunds), and three cats that we rescued (Jiji, Cleo and Smokey). In high school I worked as a kennel worker at a veterinary hospital for 2 years and love working with animals. I’ve spent some time volunteering at local animal shelters at different places I was stationed with the military. I work nights from 8 pm-6:30 am, I’m off 7 days/6 nights in a row every other week, feel free to reach out and I’ll let you know if I work any of the dates you’re interested in. During a week where I work, I would be able to come back to your pet in the morning and feed them breakfast/either go for a walk or hang out a bit. Afterwards I would sleep from roughly 8:30 am-12:30pm. When I wake up at 12:30 I can offer your pet a midday walk/potty break/or just some one on one time. Around 3 pm, I may take a 2-3hr nap, but otherwise I will be free from 12:30 pm until I need to leave for 8 pm shift. If you have questions/concerns with this schedule I’m more than happy to answer them. When I am off I switch back to a normal daytime schedule will be able to spend the day/night with your pet. When watching your pet, I’m there for your pet. If they want to hang out and do nothing, we’ll do that. If they want to go for walks, hikes or adventures, we’ll do that. Including a “wildlife rescue” with my BFF at age 8😂 I studied veterinary science & graduated (w/ honors) with a degree as a licensed veterinary technician. I have spent a lot of time at private practices but my heart is in shelter medicine. I love witnessing their transformation, it is just wonderful! Providing the animals with any medical care they might need, pouring all of the love into them that they may not have ever known & any behavioral training was covered. About: Growing up, my family welcomed many rescued animals into our home, from a beagle mix and a golden retriever to a Jack Russell terrier, turtle, guinea pig, bunny, and even a horse. About: My husband and I have lived in our house since 2018. We have a beautiful, peaceful backyard and a very well equipped house for pets. We recently said goodbye to our 15 year old babies, Tatum and Bentley. Our world revolved around them and we want to share that love by helping other families with their fur babies. We are experienced with senior care and enjoy outdoor activities with dogs. We have a great set up to create a calm and peaceful environment for your dog. We aren’t here to train but fill that void for your pet receiving love while you can’t be with them. We can administer medication if necessary and have incredibly flexible jobs for which one of us is typically WFH 3-4 days of the work week. We like to enjoy our home and immediate surroundings on weekends, so we never stray far from home base. Virginia only goes into an office 1-2 days a week and has a fairly flexible schedule. Nick goes in 3 days a week but also has major flex for his day. We are the epitome of home bodies. We enjoy being out in nature and walks are a daily occurrence for us or going on a low key hike up at the pass. We have a fenced yard, we spend time with the pets we have here (I’d even go as far as saying you can always find my husband hanging with the animals when we have people over) and we are diligent to their daily needs. Our world can revolve around them. We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood but also are open to exploring the outdoors with pets too! We find the less popular spots to go spend time in nature and explore the beautiful setting around us. We have experience caring for pets who need medication and food at particular times and our current life allows us to make that a daily priority.
“Our one year old dog had a wonderful stay with Andrea over a long weekend. It was worked out with very short notice and I immediately felt relieved that we had found such a friendly accommodating option for our dog. My first impression was confirmed when we finally met and I could see how Andrea and her family included the dogs as extensions of their family. She sent photos and videos during the stay and communicating was extremely easy. My dog came home happy, and so SO tired from playing with her other dogs. I think our dog was actually missing her house for a few days. Hopefully he will get to go back sometime soon.”
