“This was my first time using Rover, and I was a little wary about letting a stranger into my house. But Mason’s personality was very reassuring from the start. He was prompt for our meet-and-greet before I booked him, and he was awesome and friendly. Mason was kind, communicative, and took great care of my cats while I was away. He sent updates and pictures, and I appreciated how much attention he gave them. My normally shy cats even came out to see him, which says a lot. I’d absolutely book Mason again.”

About: I grew up with many animals, and have been a pet owner my whole adult life. I frequently pet sat for family friends throughout my high school and college years. I'm a teacher home for summer break, so I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet. I'm available days, nights, and weekends. We have a cozy, pet friendly home and a large fenced in backyard. Between my 5yr Boston Terrier and 6 yr old son, you're dog will be sure to get lots of attention and snuggles.
“This was our first time using Rover and it worked out great. Harley was much more comfortable staying at home. Thank you Gabrielle for taking such good care of our pup.”

About: I’ve been fostering animals, mainly cats, since I was 12. My family would work with local shelters to take in abandoned kittens as young as a day old and raise them and help find them good homes. Because of this, my neighbors often sought me out to watch their pets when out of town. I work full-time Monday-Thursday from 6-4:30. I am available after work and any time Friday-Sunday. If booked I will always make extra time to play with your pet! I currently do not have any pets in my apartment, so yours would get all my attention and space. For dogs, my community has a dog park along with plenty of sidewalks for walks. For cats, I have some precious toys and supplies from past fosters!
“Mia has been a lifesaver, providing drop-in visits for our father’s cat, Blue. We had an immediate, unexpected need for someone and were so happy when Mia agreed. We have called upon her twice because she is incredibly reliable, kind, and goes out of her way to help in any way she can. We highly recommend her and appreciate all she did for us during a difficult time.”

“Lindsey was amazing with both of my dogs! She kept us updated on everything and we got tons of pictures while we were away. We even got a report card at the end of her services. It was so cute! Will definitely reach out to her again for future services 😊”

“Once again, Kayla has given our pup so much love and attention all while making sure he feels safe! Her updates are thorough and the pictures are cute enough to want to hang-up!”

About: I've lived with both large breed and small breed dogs for as long as I can remember, helping to bathe, groom, walk, play, administer medications, and of course snuggle! While I've not had any official pet care jobs, friends and family have occasionally asked me to sit with, walk, feed, or just let out their pets to go potty, from under a year old to middle aged or senior. Outside of the veterinary world, I'm an ICU nurse in adult health. I like to read and play video games, and hope I can be of some help! My primary job schedule is one week on/one week off of overnight shiftwork, but generally every other weekend (the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month) I have availability. Im open to discussion for weekdays, or mornings on my way home from work. I dont have pets of my own, as I live in an apartment with little space to run around and play. But, I've administered medications to dogs, can do some light grooming, short walks, etc. Snuggles and kisses come free of charge!
“Evelyn was a wonderful communicator! She regularly sent videos and photos of our cats, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was truly heartwarming to see how much time and care she took to play with them. We highly recommend Evelyn and are so grateful for her excellent service. Thank you!”

“Bobbi was great!! Very professional and a calm demeanor that my dog loved. My dog has medical issues so it was great to know Bobbi’s background and studies make her knowledgeable about taking care of special needs dogs. I highly recommended Bobbi.”

About: I’m a patient, caring animal lover with a background in positive reinforcement training. Animals have always been a big part of my life—I’ve worked at both the zoo and the Louisiana Nature Center as an educator and animal caretaker, where I helped with training and husbandry for a variety of animal ambassadors. At home, I have quite the animal crew: 2 dogs, 2 cats, a bird, snakes, lizards, tortoises, hedgehogs, a rabbit, and even some invertebrates! Caring for such a wide range of animals has given me experience with all kinds of temperaments, routines, and special needs. I’m also a mom of three older children who sometimes enjoy helping me with pet-sitting duties. Together, we provide lots of love and attention to the pets we care for. To ensure the best fit, I require a meet & greet a few days before your booking. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
