About: I’ve always had small dogs — it’s kind of a family tradition. (Mostly Chihuahuas… if you’ve met one, you know exactly what that means! 🥴😝) I also walk my aunt’s dog, who’s a little bigger, and I’m usually the one friends call when they need someone to care for their pets — dogs or cats — while they’re away. After 13+ years in retail (yes, at Old Navy — and no, it’s not like the commercials 😅), I realized my real passion has always been spending time with animals. I’m kind, patient, and protective, and I genuinely enjoy giving pets the time, affection, and attention they deserve. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and loved. I always take time to learn each pet’s routine — feeding schedule, favorite toys, walks, and any special needs or habits. If I’m watching pets in a client’s home, I make sure to keep things consistent with their normal routine so they feel relaxed. I give plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention, and I always keep food and water areas clean. I also send photo updates so owners know their pets are happy and cared for. If I’m caring for animals in my own home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment — secure spaces for cats to explore, comfy spots for naps, and safe outdoor time (if allowed). I treat every pet as if they’re my own, because that’s what I’d want for my animals too. While my own yard is smaller and perfect for my small dogs, my sister has a much larger yard, and she’s given me full access to her home and property whenever needed. That means I have plenty of safe space available for bigger dogs to play and get the exercise they need.

About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work as a part time tutor. My classes typically consist of Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9-2:15 and Tuesday and Thursdays 11-1:45. Then, I work 3:30-6:30 (sometimes 7:30) as a tutor When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over a decade now, and I had dogs while growing up. I currently have a 7 year old Labrador who I love to walk and take on adventures. I have also fostered a few dogs in the past. I have a ton of experience with cats as well. I have previously completed a dog care class that was required to volunteer at SICSA. I know all dogs come with very different personalities, and I look forward to getting to know yours! I love to take pictures of animals in my care, so if you like getting photo updates I can happily accommodate that. I work afternoon/evenings, so I am available every day until 1:30 pm or all day on Sundays. I am available in the evenings if I am not working, but the days of the week that I work changes every week. I usually get my schedule about a week ahead of time. I always do my best to be aware of each animal’s individual needs and behaviors. I always walk my dog with his harness and collar, and I am able to accommodate whatever gear your animal is used to wearing. Out of an abundance of caution, I do not let any dogs in my care interact with other dogs that are not already known to them. If your dog is reactive to other animals I will make sure to stay extra far away from any other dogs who we see on our walks. When caring for pets in their home I always make sure all doors are locked and secure when coming & going. This includes making sure any fenced yard gates are secured before letting the animal outside. I also am very cautious of animals who are ‘door darters.’

About: I've been responsible for taking care of dogs in my own home for as long as I can remember. I currently have a pitbull named Roman who is my best friend and whole world. I’m very knowledgeable when it comes to reading dogs body language and figuring out their needs. I fed, walked, and played with many pups. I have 10 years of experience, taking care dogs. Neighbor, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I’ll enjoy taking your pup on long walks and hikes, basically anywhere dogs are allowed. I am very passionate about our furry friends and treat them with love and compassion, I will love your pup like it were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule so I can work from home if I need to. I normally do potty breaks every 4 hours. I also have a schedule of feeding twice a day but if you prefer a specific schedule let me know. Teddy is a friendly pup and will keep your dog entertained. I normally don’t crate dogs unless it is necessary. If you prefer your dog being crated or is being trained let me know. Your dog will be loved and cared for.

About: I love animals and am reliable, patient and attentive to their individual needs - whether they need a feeding schedule, long walks or short frequent walks, or just companionship and care. I grew up with both large and small dog breeds. I also have experience with cats and litter box cleanup. I am a small business owner so I can plan my day around your pets' needs. I only care for 1-2 pets from same family in my home at a time. I can care for your pet in your home or at my home. I can care for crated or uncrated animals. My yard is not fenced so potty time would be on leash in the back yard or your litter box. No other pets or children in the home.
