“A really great walker. My normally shy and anxious boy really took to her, and he clearly had a great time on his walk because I home to a calm and contented puppy”

Katie S.
“I’ve known Katie since I was about 13 years old and I’ve always know her to be a dog lover. She has had at least one golden retriever in her family for as long as I’ve known her (she currently has 2)! She knows just about everything there is to know about dog care and is very great at keeping all types of dogs entertained. Whenever I’m out of town I know I can trust Katie to care for my chocolate Lab as she is very responsible and reliable!”

Bradley M.

“Bradley was a true lifesaver, stepping in and walking my 84lb Goldendoodle 2x a day for 6 days. I broke my dominate arm and needless to say, quite helpless. Bradley is the consummate professional, always on time, documenting every walk with a photo and summary. Cookie always looked forward to his arrival and finally, at the age of 13, learned the meaning of a schedule! Dog owners couldn’t find anyone more trustworthy than Bradley.”

Dionte M.
“Dionte is trustworthy, dependable, nurturing and caring. He has babysat my fur-babies multiple times. When my Aussie shepherd was a little too fluffy, Dionte took him on regular runs around the neighborhood and to the outdoor mall to socialize him and help him drop a few pounds. He takes the time to meticulously and calmly brush our very anxious little dog until he calms down and cuddles with Dionte. The pups just love him! I would highly recommend Dionte to babysit your fur-babies. Sincerely, Cristina M”

About: I have prior experience around a variety of animals through my role as a part time volunteer at my local county animal shelter back in Illinois for roughly 6 years. Additionally, I have previous experience as a drop-in dog sitter for dogs/cats. My first encounters with taking care of animals stems back to my childhood when caretaking for our family dogs. I am a student at the university of Dayton trying to support my final year of college financially through doing something I love, taking care of animals. That being said, I do have to work around my class schedule when booking appointments. I treat every pet as if they are my own, giving the best care to each animal. Also, I am currently working on attaining a few certifications that show my capabilities to offer a safe and trustworthy services.

Clara C.
“It is with no hesitation that I highly recommend Clara as a trustworthy and loving pet caregiver. Clara lived next door to me for several years, and when her car pulled in to her driveway, my dog would jump up on the back of the sofa, her tail swishing like window wipers, and she would whine when Clara went into her home. Clara would often text me then to invite my dog over and my pup would go right to the door and prance until I opened it. She'd then fly down the steps and into Clara's house within seconds. If I came over to bring my dog back, she would sometimes hide behind Clara's legs! She loved Clara! I trust Clara to the moon and back. She is clear, caring, and consistent. You cannot find a better caregiver for your pet.”

Zack G.
“Zack is an excellent loving dog dad. He has Max which is an almost 4-year-old golden doodle in Bruno who is a 2 1/2 year-old Boston terrier that he loves dearly and cares for amazingly. I was amazed that he was able to train his dogs so well, and they are so well treated. Make sure that they always have what they need no matter what. he helps. Take care of my two dogs as well when I am away or need help. He goes above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of have the food they need and are bathed.”

Sarah F.
“Hello, Sarah Fast is a dog lover. She has owned dogs her entire adult life, including pure bred breeds (Corgi's et. al.) and many rescues as well. She has a large fenced in backyard that is ideal for dogs. Sarah is retired K-12 school teacher and will make a wonderful Rover. Sincerely, John Heckel”

Riley T.

“Riley did a fantastic job. She is very responsive and took great care of our dog!”

Kylie G.
“Kylie is a wonderful dog owner that pays attention to the small details of dog care. She always has her own pet up to date on vaccines and has trained him well. Kylie is responsible, reliable, and professional. I would definitely recommend her!”

Sara R.
“Sara has house sat for our family (one large dog + two cats) for the past several years. She is very sweet and responsible and we know our fur babies are getting lots of love and attention whenever we are away. Sara also helps out by bringing in our mail and watering plants. Sara is a great communicator and I appreciate her help so much!”

Anna B.

“Anna has watched my dogs on many occasions for me. When I pick them up after the week I’ve been away sometimes I feel as if they want to stay with her and not come home with me! She treats them as a part of the family and loves them like her own. They feel very comfortable with her and they trust her completely. Their needs are met daily and she goes above and beyond to make sure that they are happy and healthy babies! I would recommend her to anyone! She is the absolute best!”

Anai G.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for about 8 years, to which most have been my own. I have done my own training with them and love to watch dog training videos on YouTube! Dogs just make my soul happy. I am currently on summer break (from teaching) so my schedule is very much open! I am available S-Sa, and any times that are needed. I can care for your dogs by following your rules and instructions. I can easily crate them if needed but also would love to play and take them out on walks if possible. I have 2 dogs of my own so I understand how their diet and exercise are fundamental.

Karen F.
“I wish I had the words to truly express how wonderful Karen is, but I don’t think I could write anything that could! I’d never used Rover before, so I had no idea what to expect, but Karen absolutely exceeded everything I could have ever asked for. She was such a gift for all of us & especially our dog, Finn. Thanks, Karen!!”

Shelby B.
“I like to refer to Shelby as a true “dog whisperer “. Not only is she knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors, she puts her skills and knowledge into practice. Shelby approaches dogs as individuals. She is kind and caring with dogs. She has expertise in training dogs. My family goes to Shelby for advice with their dogs. Shelby is easy going, calm and kind.. I have observed her working with puppies through adult dogs that are slated as future service dogs. I’ve had her speak to high school students about the stages of training for a service dog, and the students really connected with her. Shelby takes the welfare of the dogs she works with very seriously. I cannot say enough about how great she is with dogs and also how she listens to what the dogs’ owners concerns are. She’s incredible. I highly recommend Shelby.”

Miranda C.
“Miranda has always been a great help and host for my 3 cats. All of them love her and have been well cared for, even Zatra who's been temperamental his whole life. Her cats are also friendly and welcoming to other cats, even for extended stays.”

Alli B.

“Alli is a great dog walker! I have used her regularly for a few months now and she has always given detailed reports and does her absolute best to accommodate schedule changes. She bonded with my pup fairly quickly and I know my pup is excited for walks when she sees Alli coming to visit.”

Megan N.
About: I’m a full time mom - one toddler and two cats - and I’ve been taking care of my family and friends‘ pets for as long as I can remember. Old to young, big to small, cat or dog, I love them all! I have a degree in Mass Communications, a minor in French and I’ve spent most of my professional life thus far in the restaurant industry, always keeping my animal care on the sidelines. With a global pandemic threatening the future of the industry I’ve spent so long in, I think it’s time to develop my dream career - full time independent pet care. I have lived with and cared for newborn animals, and I recently lost a beloved 18 year old family cat. So I have experience with all ages and needs. Let me help you give your pets the absolute best care! I have lots of extra time for pet care! Working only a couple days throughout the week, leaves me with plenty of time to look after clients! Every pet has a different temperament and different needs, so I try my very best to give every animal unique and specialised care each time. As soon as I can build enough of a clientele in this area, I can make it my full time priority. I try to schedule any other commitments around my pet care commitments. In my home, I’d take them on leashes walks in the surrounding suburbs and to the local dog parks as well. Thankfully there are several lovely dog parks very close!

Jailee C.
“Jailee has had dogs her whole life. They are truly are part of what makes her! Even dogs that are timid of humans seem to love Jailee from the start. If your dog loves to snuggle Jailee is definitely the dog sitter for you! Don't be surprised if she talks to the dogs more than the humans (although she is very outgoing and personable too!)”
