“Melanie is amazing! We couldn’t have asked for better care for our “dog-kiddos”. Her care is an extension of our care and that’s rare to find, especially with the size of our pups. (Great Dane and Labradoodle). She also kept me up to date with pictures and cute stories of their day. So happy to have found her! Her sweet family is a PLUS as well! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Amy was great! My work trip extended longer than planned and was going to get my home in the middle of the night. Amy was able to extend the stay and ensure that our senior pup was well cared for! She came home happy and energetic.”

“Took my dog there for a week , he had so much fun! The dogs were super playful , they kept sensing us videos though out the week, our plane to go back got delayed and we were able to leave him a extra day, I would definitely recommend this for any dogs that have anxiety , my dog cries a lot but with them it was all good, 10/10 !⭐️”

“Miss Brooke and Mr. Bobby took such great care of Trixie. We received daily check-ins and photos of Trixie having the time of her life. We did not have a single worry while Trixie was in the care of Miss Brooke. Will definitely reach out to this couple when we need care for Trixie in the future.”

“Jamie was phenomenal with my high-energy dog!! She embraced his fun loving nature and he couldn’t have had a better time playing with her, her daughters, and other pups. She updated me at least once if not twice daily with pictures and made sure I knew he was happy! It was so much easier to leave him knowing he was so well cared for!”

“They did great with my two dogs. Zero complaints, only positive things to say. I’ll be going through them again the next time I need to board my dogs without any hesitation. Thanks again!”

About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. There is only one other person living in my home and they are only home after 5 pm. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. Thank you for considering me for taking care of your pets I currently work full time split shifts so I can take care of animals between shifts before shifts and after shifts. I have reliable transportation to and from also I have a large fenced in back yard and I currently work in the animal field so I am trained on medication management and also have vet tech experience.
“Dani was INCREDIBLE. We’ve never used Rover before and felt extremely comfortable leaving our dog in her hands. She was responsive, extremely kind when we dropped our dog off & sent frequent updates letting us know she was doing well which gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend Dani and we will be a repeat customer ♥️🐾”

“Could not ask for a better sitter for our pup. Alyssa's patience and flexibility saved our plans and our dog came back happy and very tired. The updates were amazing and reassured us that our pup was in good hands. Our dog did not want to leave when we picked her up, which we know means she had a great time, made some new friends, and truly loved her stay. 10/10 will recommend to anyone.”
About: My lifelong journey with animals began on a farm, where 4-H and showing sheep taught me the responsibility required to keep animals healthy and well-cared for. After a 20-year career as a project manager in the tech industry, I am now following my true passion: caring for animals! I'm currently training as a dog groomer so I don't just "watch" your pets; I'm also accustomed to helping them feel comfortable in new surroundings. Whether you have a spunky puppy or a gentle senior needing extra patience, I provide a calm, structured environment tailored to their unique personality. My home is a quiet sanctuary where my two friendly Shih Tzu mixes love welcoming new friends to our secure, fenced-in garden. They will get the grand tour and lots of playtime or sunny garden naps, depending on their preference. I specialize in creating a low-stress environment for dogs who might feel anxious in new places. From senior pups needing a slow pace to high-energy dogs looking for a walk, your fur babies will be treated like members of my own family. I train a few hours a week as a junior dog groomer, but other than that, most of my work is from home, so I can spend a great deal of time with your fur babies. Dog Boarding: In my home, I provide a low-stress environment designed for the comfort of smaller breeds (under 30 lbs). Since I have two small-breed dogs, I ensure all interactions are gentle. If they are used to a kennel, I will follow their normal pattern, based on your input. I provide frequent photo updates so you can see their 'day at the garden' in real-time. Daycare Service: Similar experience as boarding above! I generally only take 1 dog per day, unless dogs happen to already live together (siblings for instance). I do this in order to provide the best experience and time with your pets. Please note that current fee is set for up to 8 hours of care. There is an additional charge added beyond 8 hours, if required. For Drop-In Visits (Cats & Dogs): For home visits, my priority is maintaining your pet’s existing routine to minimize anxiety. For Dogs: I focus on a productive potty break, fresh water, and a 'sniffari' (a mental-stimulation walk) or indoor play. For Cats: I focus on their specific social needs—whether they want active play with a wand or just a calm presence nearby while I refresh their food and litter. I always perform a home security check before leaving (ensuring doors are locked and water bowls are full) and leave a detailed 'petdate' on how they behaved and what we did. Dog Walking: Walks are tailored to your dog’s energy level and the weather. Growing up on a farm, I am hyper-aware of animal body language and surroundings. I practice 'defensive walking,' meaning I am always scanning for other off-leash dogs or distractions to keep your pup safe. I also pay close attention to Shreveport’s heat; I check pavement temperatures and ensure we stay hydrated and shaded. After our walk, I’ll wipe their paws and make sure they are settled back in safely.
About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart. Regardless of whether they have fur or scales I treat my pets, and other’s pets as family members who need just as much love and emotional care as they do physically. Thank you for this opportunity
“Adriana was so kind and professional! You can absolutely tell that she loves what she does. We used her for our wedding weekend and knowing that my babies were taken care of was the biggest relief. She checked in regularly and was easy to contact! Will be using again!!!”

“I wouldn’t hesitate to have Josh and Houston watch my furbaby again. It was a last-minute booking, but they were so welcoming and accommodating. They sent updates and pictures during his stay, and I could tell he was being well taken care of. He even seemed sad to leave when we got in the car, which has never happened before. Highly recommend them!”

Jaden was fantastic. Super understanding, kind and took great care of paco when I was gone on a 4 day trip. My boy showed no signs of stress after his visit. Which I have had happen before. She was patient enough to socialize my paco with Legos her adorable German Shepard blue healer mix pup. It was a great experience overall and I would totally use her help again.

I had an excellent experience with Catavin. They were incredibly professional and had great communication throughout the entire time they cared for my puppy. I always felt updated and reassured. They took amazing care of my pup. Super friendly, reliable, and truly someone who loves what they do. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

Tatyanna is a Christian who went above and beyond what I ever expected. This shows she really has a Christ like manner that's hard to find. Recently I had to move and so I hired her through the Rover app not knowing what to expect. She not only is by far the best woman for the job, but also the most reasonable. She took great care of my dog and when I had to let my baby go because of my health, she found him a home right in her own home and her roommate adopted him in which I have no doubt, he will always be shown love and not only that, he is truly happy now. She took several pictures a day and sent them to me. She also takes all the pets she boards for early morning walks at the dog park. So if you are reading this review, take it from me, I will take my own life on Tatyanna as she is by far the most caring and loving boarder in the whole wide world. God bless her and hers always, Daniel M.
