“Emilee was awesome! Shakka is our elderly baby and she was sure to keep us in the loop through pictures and letting us know how he is carrying on throughout his day. We are happy to have found her.”

“I never have to worry about my fur baby I know she is in good hands with her I have booked her 3 or 4 times now and will continue to book with her ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Took my dog there for a week , he had so much fun! The dogs were super playful , they kept sensing us videos though out the week, our plane to go back got delayed and we were able to leave him a extra day, I would definitely recommend this for any dogs that have anxiety , my dog cries a lot but with them it was all good, 10/10 !⭐️”

“Melanie is outstanding. She is very knowledgeable and pretty much a dog whisperer. She truly cares about the fur babies she’s taking care of. She communicates as much as you want her to. She gave me some tips on feeding encouragement for my stubborn pups. 100% recommend her.”

“Chop had a lot of fun. Would recommend Hilaire to anyone. She’s attentive to the dogs and kind. Very helpful accommodating to you. I had to book last minute and she accepted quickly. Will be rebooking in the future”

“Brooke was wonderful in every way! She went above and beyond to make sure our Tobey was well cared for, loved, exercised and snuggled. She was great with communication and sent lots of pictures through out Tobey’s stay. I felt so comfortable leaving my pup with Brooke and her husband, and knowing he was in good hands made our trip relaxing and worry free. When we returned home with Tobey, I could actually tell he missed them! He had the best time, and I will not hesitate to use Brooke again on our next trip away. 10 stars!!”

About: My family has owned dogs since I was 3 years old. I have taken care of animals of all kinds, including big, little, and elder dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. I adopted my own dog in July of 2025. He was a rescue from Dubach, LA and loves dogs more than people! Currently I am working on my Masters of Business Administration online, meaning I have plenty of time to dedicate to anyone’s wonderful animal(s)! When I enter a client’s home, I always want to ensure the upmost respect is being given not only to the owner, but also their home and possessions as well. But most importantly to the animal. My main goal is making sure they get plenty of potty breaks and can get energy out by having fun and using their brain.
About: I’m an 18 year old college student who loves to be around animals any chance I can. What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience and diverse skill set. With a strong background in both puppy training and senior pet care, I tailor my services to meet the unique needs of each dog. My commitment to safety and well-being is reflected in my 5-star reviews from satisfied clients, who appreciate my attentive and compassionate approach. By providing personalized care and maintaining open communication, I ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Trust me to give your furry friend the best care possible! I work my own scedule so I usually have a lot of time to do pet sitting.i whould love to do this full time if I had the opportunity an clientele I have a back yard with one bar gate door that stands very tall so no animals could get out.i have air conditioning so when they come in they could be cool
“I was very happy with Samantha. It was nice to know they were able to stay in her house and backyard. Before they have been shut up in prison cell type enclosures outside or put in small cages if the weather was bad. I have already tipped her.”

“Erika took such good care of our dog! We appreciated the regular updates, pictures, and communication. We will definitely reach out to her again for future sitting needs!”

“Danielle was a great sitter for my dog, Abby. She was very polite and courteous, and the whole process was super easy from start to finish. During Abby’s stay, Danielle sent several messages and photos, which I really appreciated. It was clear Abby was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Danielle and will use her again if I need someone in the area!”

About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.
“I wouldn’t hesitate to have Josh and Houston watch my furbaby again. It was a last-minute booking, but they were so welcoming and accommodating. They sent updates and pictures during his stay, and I could tell he was being well taken care of. He even seemed sad to leave when we got in the car, which has never happened before. Highly recommend them!”

“Zack is the best! We left our three babies with Zac, one being 15 years old with a medical condition. Zack put our fears to rest to the point we were able to celebrate our wedding without concerns of how our dogs were being treated and cared for. We extended a day and Zac was caring enough to let us know he would be away from the dogs all day and if we were okay with it. We will definitely use him again and recommend to anyone with Barksdale AFB access.”

“I will be rebooking. Andrea and her husband was fantastic! They communicated really well, I always got an update on my baby. My baby loved being there he was really happy! They made me feel at peace while I was away that my baby was in good hands!”

“Gizmo had a great stay with this wonderful family. He can be anxious but could tell he felt right at home. We had the best updates and pictures. I would definitely recommend Jamie.”

“Excellent care Melissa took excellent care of my two fur babies. She provided a few pictures showing that they were adjusting to being with her. The next she let me know that they were doing well. When I picked them up both puppies were playful and happy.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Shreveport
Jaden was fantastic. Super understanding, kind and took great care of paco when I was gone on a 4 day trip. My boy showed no signs of stress after his visit. Which I have had happen before. She was patient enough to socialize my paco with Legos her adorable German Shepard blue healer mix pup. It was a great experience overall and I would totally use her help again.

I had an excellent experience with Catavin. They were incredibly professional and had great communication throughout the entire time they cared for my puppy. I always felt updated and reassured. They took amazing care of my pup. Super friendly, reliable, and truly someone who loves what they do. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

Tatyanna is a Christian who went above and beyond what I ever expected. This shows she really has a Christ like manner that's hard to find. Recently I had to move and so I hired her through the Rover app not knowing what to expect. She not only is by far the best woman for the job, but also the most reasonable. She took great care of my dog and when I had to let my baby go because of my health, she found him a home right in her own home and her roommate adopted him in which I have no doubt, he will always be shown love and not only that, he is truly happy now. She took several pictures a day and sent them to me. She also takes all the pets she boards for early morning walks at the dog park. So if you are reading this review, take it from me, I will take my own life on Tatyanna as she is by far the most caring and loving boarder in the whole wide world. God bless her and hers always, Daniel M.

Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
