“New to boarding, and I will say that I will definitely be back. Kaley and her husband took care of Chief as if he was their own. Daily updates, pictures and playtime definitely made me feel a lot better about being out of town for the weekend. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone that will cater to your needs, and your pet’s.”

“She is THE BEST pet sitter! It’s the first time I felt 100% comfortable & at ease leaving my dogs with a sitter because I was able to fully trust that my dogs were in the best hands. She is communicative & responsive. Melanie goes above and beyond to treat pets under her care as her own family members. The level of genuine compassion for all animals she comes across is evident. My dogs seemed so at peace & at home during their entire stay with Melanie!”

“Jennifer made my very first Rover experience absolutely exceptional! From our initial greeting and Luna’s first interaction with her, I immediately felt at ease and knew I could let go of all the anxiety I had about boarding my fur baby. Jennifer cared for Luna as if she were her own, showering her with love, attention, and plenty of spoiling. Honestly, Luna didn’t even want to leave when it was time to go! That alone speaks volumes. I will definitely be booking with Jennifer again soon, even if it’s just for Luna to visit from time to time. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!”

“They did great with my two dogs. Zero complaints, only positive things to say. I’ll be going through them again the next time I need to board my dogs without any hesitation. Thanks again!”

“This I can’t say enough good things about her! My three cats can be a handful, especially when they’re out of their usual space, but she was so patient and reassuring with them. She sent tons of updates, checked in often, and made sure they stayed fed, comfortable, and as low‑stress as possible. It was clear she really cared about their well‑being. I’m super grateful and would definitely book her again.”

About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.
“Dani did an awesome job watching Goose. She sent us plenty of updates and pictures of him throughout his stay. We would definitely recommend her to others looking for a pet sitter!”

“Hilarie is THE BEST! When we pull up to Hilarie’s house, our dog gets SO excited which is clear proof that our dog is in wonderful hands. Hilarie has been extremely flexible with us which makes working with her so easy. She sends us periodic updates which gives us a warm & fuzzy feeling that our girl is safe. We are repeat customers and highly recommend her!”

“Jamie is officially my Shreveport sitter when I come home to visit. :) My pup is happy and I felt 100% at peace with his visit with her. She sent pictures and took him on some social adventures. You can tell when people have a heart for your pup and it showed which allowed me to celebrate my family while in town with no worries.”

About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart. Regardless of whether they have fur or scales I treat my pets, and other’s pets as family members who need just as much love and emotional care as they do physically. Thank you for this opportunity

“Wow!! Before I tell you how incredible our experience with Susan was, I want to first tell you quickly about our horrible experience 3 weeks before when we boarded Bilbo at a local Groomer/Vet/Boarding Center in Shreveport for 8 days. From beginning to end, it was a nightmare, but I'll spare all the details except that when we picked Bilbo up, he wasn't right. He was dirty (even though they are supposed to give him a complimentary bath before pick up) and looked haggard and weary (his eyes were red) and could not make a sound because he was so hoarse from barking. When we got him home, he was panting and drooling excessively. For two (2) days and nights, he paced and panted and did not sleep. We were worried so we took him to his normal veterinarian and they had to put him on antibiotics and another medication. Two hundred dollar ($250) vet bill, Thank You! I don't know what happened, but we knew we could NEVER take him to another Vet/Boarding Center. I started looking online for local pet sitters and after careful scrutinization and reading lots of reviews, I found Susan (Angelic Choir Sounds). We corresponded over Rover.com and I knew that she would take good care of him. When we got to her property and my husband and I walked her spacious fenced in backyard, I knew that Bilbo would be in heaven there! It was a dog's dream getaway with so much space, trees, shade and a flowing water pond for fresh water if he got thirsty. But, then, Susan showed us where Bilbo would be spending his time (with her) and I was blown away. The large, separate, air conditioned building was set up like an extension of her main house. It was open and comfortable just like home (like a cabin style) with a living area, a sleeping area and a dining area for her comfort while she stayed with Bilbo and a couple of other sweet doggies who were set up in large open gated and separated spaces. Each dog had a couch and a rug and were just steps away from Susan at all times. I was impressed with how intimately Susan knew each of the animals that were in her care. She was prepared and equipped to take care of my dog's needs, no matter what they were. When my husband and I left, we felt such a worry and a burden lifted and knew we'd really be able to enjoy our vacation and that he'd be on his own little vacation too!! The day that we arrived to our vacation place, I got a text and a picture of Bilbo walking around outside. I continued to receive photos and updates of what Bilbo was doing every morning and every evening. My husband and I were just giddy about it! At home, Bilbo runs when we pull out our cell phones or camera to take his picture, but he let her take numerous pics of him. We laughed and said, "What the HECK!!" Moreover, Susan was very personable and professional! We brought her back an assortment of fudge as a tiny token of our appreciation, but really there was no gift that could have expressed how grateful we were :) We will always book with Susan going forward, God willing she's available!! I highly recommend booking with Susan. She keeps her number of doggies to a small number, so don't wait!! Regards, Lydia & Andre”

“Madison took wonderful care of my puppy, Bella, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was professional, reliable, and clearly cared about making Bella feel comfortable and loved while I was away. I really appreciated her communication and attention to detail, which gave me peace of mind the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Madison to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

“Erika took such good care of our dog! We appreciated the regular updates, pictures, and communication. We will definitely reach out to her again for future sitting needs!”

“I will be rebooking. Andrea and her husband was fantastic! They communicated really well, I always got an update on my baby. My baby loved being there he was really happy! They made me feel at peace while I was away that my baby was in good hands!”

“Zack is the best! We left our three babies with Zac, one being 15 years old with a medical condition. Zack put our fears to rest to the point we were able to celebrate our wedding without concerns of how our dogs were being treated and cared for. We extended a day and Zac was caring enough to let us know he would be away from the dogs all day and if we were okay with it. We will definitely use him again and recommend to anyone with Barksdale AFB access.”
