“Kaley was excellent! Took great care of our pups while we were away. They had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. Great and fast communication. Received daily pictures and videos. She will be our go to for doggy boarding when we are out of town!”

“Brooke and Bobby are amazing people and took such good care of our big baby girl. She’s a lot but they had so much patience with her and updated me daily during her stay! Would most definitely recommend them!!”

“We received continuous photos from Alyssa of our puppy playing with her children. It looked like he went to summer camp & had an amazing time. Super simple process dropping off & picking up. Would recommend Alyssa & her family for pet sitting to anyone. 10 stars if possible.”

About: My family has owned dogs since I was 3 years old. I have taken care of animals of all kinds, including big, little, and elder dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. I adopted my own dog in July of 2025. He was a rescue from Dubach, LA and loves dogs more than people! Currently I am working on my Masters of Business Administration online, meaning I have plenty of time to dedicate to anyone’s wonderful animal(s)! When I enter a client’s home, I always want to ensure the upmost respect is being given not only to the owner, but also their home and possessions as well. But most importantly to the animal. My main goal is making sure they get plenty of potty breaks and can get energy out by having fun and using their brain.
“Hilarie is THE BEST! When we pull up to Hilarie’s house, our dog gets SO excited which is clear proof that our dog is in wonderful hands. Hilarie has been extremely flexible with us which makes working with her so easy. She sends us periodic updates which gives us a warm & fuzzy feeling that our girl is safe. We are repeat customers and highly recommend her!”

“Andrea and her husband were great. I will definitely call them again I’ve never left my Buddy with strangers. They made me feel so comfortable. I’m very pleased with their service. Andrea even text me to let me know my Buddy was doing good. I highly recommend their Dog sitting service !”

“Jamie is officially my Shreveport sitter when I come home to visit. :) My pup is happy and I felt 100% at peace with his visit with her. She sent pictures and took him on some social adventures. You can tell when people have a heart for your pup and it showed which allowed me to celebrate my family while in town with no worries.”

About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart. Regardless of whether they have fur or scales I treat my pets, and other’s pets as family members who need just as much love and emotional care as they do physically. Thank you for this opportunity
“Tyler was awesome with our guys! I appreciated him following the instructions for our old guy and also for our puppy. He was able to alert us to an issue with our pup and it was only noticeable because he was clearly attentive while caring for them. We hope to use him again!”

“Zack is the best! We left our three babies with Zac, one being 15 years old with a medical condition. Zack put our fears to rest to the point we were able to celebrate our wedding without concerns of how our dogs were being treated and cared for. We extended a day and Zac was caring enough to let us know he would be away from the dogs all day and if we were okay with it. We will definitely use him again and recommend to anyone with Barksdale AFB access.”

“Gabreila was absolutely amazing! She agreed to watch my puppy on such short notice! Right before drop-off, my puppy fell ill and was taken to the ER. She allowed me to drop him off after we left the ER and administered all of the medication he needed during his stay! I am so grateful that she took great care of him and would 100% recommend her for pet sitting!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Blanchard
Kaley was so great!! Very kind and communicative. More than I could have asked for; she made time for me to feel more peace-of-mind by responsibly introducing her pups to mine one by one before our reservation. She sent lots of cute pictures and vidoes throughout the stay. She is clearly very intentional about the care of her pets and treated mine like her own for the weekend. We will be back in the future! Absolutely recommend.

Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
