About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. About: I can train puppies as early as 6 weeks old. This includes house training as well. For elder dogs it may take longer to train, but it is still possible. I also provide basic daily care such as feeding, walking, bathing, and grooming. I have nothing to do! I would rather watch your pet all day. We had not left our animals in such a long time and we were looking for a more personal experience. Our stay was scheduled just a few days prior to needing her, and we didn’t have time for a meet and greet, but on arrival she was so accommodating. She let Jace ( Labrador) 11 yo and Max (Pomeranian) 1/12 yo have time to get used to their surroundings and my husband and I to feel comfortable leaving. It felt as much like home, as it could be. She sent us so many pictures, and we could tell how much fun they were having. I will want to use her again whenever we are away! We highly recommend her !”

About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.
About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. Thank you for considering me for taking care of your pets I currently work full time split shifts so I can take care of animals between shifts before shifts and after shifts. I have reliable transportation to and from also I have a large fenced in back yard and I currently work in the animal field so I am trained on medication management and also have vet tech experience.
About: I’ve been caring for Dogs for the last 12 years from all kinds of breeds. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding with their schedule, and keeping them active and happy! I am currently in the airforce, I am available between Thursday, Friday and Saturdays to spend time with your pups. I’m also available mornings and nights or whatever works for you:) I will make sure they go on plenty of walk and go outside. They also will get all the love and attention they need. I will also make sure they always have a source of water!
About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart. Regardless of whether they have fur or scales I treat my pets, and other’s pets as family members who need just as much love and emotional care as they do physically. Thank you for this opportunity
