“Kyra was available for us last minute and did so great with our dog, Jenny. Jenny had no issues having Kyra come stay with her. Kyra communicated well with us, was very friendly and super easy to deal with. Would use her again.”

“Was awesome with our dogs! Great communicator and was very flexible and able to adjust with all of our needs. She left our place cleaner and better than she found it! Would absolutely use her again :)”

“Emily did a great job watching lavender and midnight! We will 100% be using her again for pet sitting! The animals warmed up to her very quickly. She left the house just as we had left it. If you are looking for a pet sitter Emily is the best around.”

“CAundra was wonderful with my dog. Margo requires special help due to some medical issues and it was no problem. Such a wonderful thing knowing someone is able to care for your dog while you’re away. She is responsive and sends pictures and was respectful of my home. Thank you!!!”

“Great with communication! Felt secure with my first time using Rover. Dogs were well cared for and Elise went above and beyond when a storm hit by picking up all the broken branches! We are grateful she was there with our paw family during the storm. Thank you Elise!”

“I can't recommend Misty highly enough! She was absolutely fantastic with my kitten, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect while I was away. She sent regular updates, photos, and even little notes about my cat's behavior, which brought me so much peace of mind. It was clear they genuinely cared, and my cat was so content and well looked after. I will definitely book with them again! - Very nice having someone Thai reliable in the area!”

“We left both our mini doxi for a week with Debbie! They love her so much and we never have to worry if they are getting taken care of. She sends daily photos! So thankful for Debbie to trust with our puppies while out of town!”

“Ellen was AMAZING!! My pup has a big personality and can be a bit of a handful at times, Ellen was very confident with him and had no issues at all. She gave me many updates and put up with my dog mom check-in's. Ellen also left our home spotless!! Having her at our home put our minds completely at ease while we were out of town. We'll definitely be using her services again!”

About: I grew up taking care of indoor/outdoor cats, and outdoor hunting dogs. I have 3 cats of my own currently and often sit for family and friends’ pets. I am currently in between jobs, so my availability is open to care for your pet. I am happy to do weekends, and can stay overnight if needed. Pet care will need to happen in your home, as my home is not suitable for boarding. I am comfortable with walking and crating and I am respectful while in someone else’s home.
“Kary went above and beyond for our pups. She sent lots of updates and came to our house to meet our dogs to ensure it would be a good fit and go over our routines. Kary is wonderful!”

About: Ive had dogs my whole life, from a small Pomeranian to a large German shepherd and all sizes in between! We have cat, Rabbit, and chicken experience as well! Lauren works from home and will be here all day to take care of any pets in our care! Our large backyard is the perfect place to let the dogs roam and get some energy out! We have a fenced in yard, dogs will be let out for at least 15 minutes every 2-3 hours. We have a separate room that will have a run/large kennel for your dog to be in when needed and overnight. I also have a room that will be set up for rabbits to be kept in their enclosure and seperate from all other animals. Safety is our first priority so all animals from seperate household will be let out separately!
About: I help my family with their dogs. I don't have a dog of my own. I worry about leaving a dog alone at home while I'm at work. I work 2nd shift and have some time availability during 1st shift to help pet owners. I can install pet doors and repair pet damage. I have space to take pets for walks. There are also several dog parks nearby. I have a car and can transport pets to the vet.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. I grew up with an orange tabby cat who taught me the basics of daily pet care from a young age. In high school, my family adopted a snorkie, and I’ve helped care for him for the past 12 years—everything from daily walks and playtime to grooming and giving medications. I’ve also had my own cat for the past seven years, and through his renal issues I’ve become very familiar with the early signs of urinary blockages, bladder stones, and the importance of special diet management. Because of this, I’m extremely attentive to subtle behavior changes and comfortable supporting pets with chronic or sensitive medical needs. I treat every pet like family, and I’m committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care. I am a medical student who spends several hours a day studying, making my schedule perfect for house sitting and using study breaks to take dogs on walks. I have class every week day from 8-12 so I can do anytime after that. Unfortunately, I am unable to do Thursdays due to long lecture and lab times. When your pet is with me, they’re treated like my own. I’m really big on keeping things safe, calm, and consistent so your pet can settle in and feel comfortable. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and any little changes—especially since I’m used to managing my own cat’s medical needs. I’m super reliable and I always follow instructions exactly how you give them. You’ll get plenty of updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Whether it’s sticking to a schedule, handling special diets, or just giving them extra love and attention, I make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well-cared for the entire time.
“Our original pet sitter bailed on us and with only a week before our 10-day vacation started, I found Morgan. She was able to do a meet and greet with us and Bella, and it was a good fit. With Bella being a reactive dog, I think it took a few day for her to adjust to Morgan, but eventually they became friends. I appreciate the photos that were sent and sweet words about my girl. I understand that Morgan has a day job/school and wasn’t going to be available to be home as much as when we around, but my sister stopped by frequently and thought Bella seemed lonely and clingy. Morgan left our house very tidy and neat. I don’t have any complaints and would recommend Morgan to be your pet/house sitter.”

“Friendly, thorough and easy to work with. All of my animals loved her immediately even though a couple of them are usually skittish. We have 5 animals and Gabby made time for each of them daily. She did house sitting and watered our garden as well. Everything was clean and in order when we returned home after 4 days. We will be calling her any time we need a pet sitter in the future. Highly recommended ?!!”

“Amber did an excellent job caring for our sweet pup, who is like a child to us. She sent us lots of updates and photos. She really went above and beyond! We were glad to have used her to care for our dog while we were traveling out of the country.”

About: I grew up on a small town farm and was raised around horses, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. until I graduated high school. I was responsible for caring for the farm animals, so I have lots of experience with different animals and pets, including cats and dogs (of all sizes and ages). I recently graduated with a master degree in biomedical science and am looking for some extra work while I figure out what I’d like to do in the long term. I currently have four pets that I absolutely adore— a Labradoodle, German Shepherd, dachshund, and a fat, orange cat! I take the dogs on long daily walks and am experienced with walking/handling two large—sometimes rowdy—dogs at once. We also love to go on adventures at the park from time to time. As a recent graduate, I am currently taking time off from school and full-time work, so my schedule is very open and flexible (especially afternoons). I am usually available for dog walking duties anytime after 11 AM, but can make short stops to take care of dogs/cats anytime during the day. If you’d prefer to have your pet(s) stay at my house instead, my animals and I would love the company! If an overnight stay is required at your house, details will need to be arranged prior to the stay. I currently care for my three dogs and one cat at home. I take the three dogs on long daily walks in the neighborhood, feed them twice daily, and clean out the cat litter box daily. I also occasionally care for my mother‘s large German Shepherd, who requires daily walks, feeding, and oral medication administration. She has several cats, who I care for by cleaning the litter boxes and feeding daily as well. Overall, I have experience walking/handling large and small dogs of various ages, administering oral medication, cleaning out litter boxes, playing with pets, and daily feeds. Depending on the job and the dog/cat I am responsible for, I am willing to care for your animal in a way that best fits their needs as you see fit.
Sherwood Glen pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emily did a wonderful job and I was able to book with her last minute. She sent me pictures and updates. I was very thankful she felt comfortable asking questions because I had to leave in a hurry and didn’t give much instruction. The pets were well cared for. She couldn’t have done anything better. I’ll definitely rebook with her.

Jessie did a wonderful job sitting our dogs so we could attend a Christmas concert. We have a new puppy who gets into absolutely everything and Jessie kept her from destroying the house when we were gone LOL! She has also house sat for us in the past while we were on vacation and was a lifesaver! I would not hesitate to give her my highest recommendation!!! If you book with her you can relax and know your babies are in great hands!!!

In the past we had a few issues with in particular one sitter but with Chloe I have zero complaints. We hadn't left Dexter with a sitter for several years because of the bad experience we had but as long as Chloe is available, we will feel comfortable leaving Dexter. We were a little nervous leaving him because how long it had been but when she sent a picture of him sitting on her lap an hour after we left the house, we knew we made the right choice
