Information Jessie W. would like to know about your pet

Dog aggression, any issues/ excitement the dog may have with certain people or things (children, men, bicycles, squirrels, cats). I’d always much rather be aware of a “possibility” so I can be prepared & react proactively for the safety of all. I love all breeds and have no concerns with any that you may own.

A typical day

My priority is always to walk (or spend time with) your dog 1) the way that you expect and desire and instruct 2) the way that the dog is used to, and/or most enjoys. If the dog or human park is walking distance, & they enjoy those things, we'll go there. I also live near the Keeper of the Plains & river walk paths. If there are triggers or tweaks that need to be observed, I got it! I'm a fast walker, but will be whatever type of walker your dog needs.

Pet care experience

I have been a dog lover and owner my entire life. I grew up with Dachshunds, Australian Shepherds, and Beagles. As an adult, I've owned 2 Cocker Spaniels, a Border Collie Mix, and a Staffordshire Terrier (Pit Bull). I love working with and caring for different breeds of dogs especially learning about their quirky and different characteristics. I've been walking/keeping dogs (and house-sitting) for approximately 7 years now and have many repeat customers. I've also completed numerous dog-sitting jobs for people with much success. I've boarded a young, unaltered female Cane Corso Mastiff for 7 months through the Dogs on Deployment program and it was an amazing experience. Most people say I love dogs more than humans, which may be true! Dogs are no doubt, the thing that continues to fill my cup in this crazy world. :) I'd love to be your regular dog walker or the dog (& house!) sitter you call to care for your fur babies when you want to have human-only fun! I love cats, too but do not board them. I'm happy to drop in on them or care for them while house-sitting for you.

Jessie did a wonderful job sitting our dogs so we could attend a Christmas concert. We have a new puppy who gets into absolutely everything and Jessie kept her from destroying the house when we were gone LOL! She has also house sat for us in the past while we were on vacation and was a lifesaver! I would not hesitate to give her my highest recommendation!!! If you book with her you can relax and know your babies are in great hands!!!

We used Jessie for the first time. She stayed at our house with our dog for three nights. We usually travel with our dog so were reluctant to leave her. Jessie gave regular updates that made us feel better. She was friendly and personable. Our house was left so nice by her too. Our dog was happy to see us but knew she did great with Jessie. I think Jessie even worked some dog magic since our dog now feels better about walking down our new deck steps. Will definitely use again and glad we have such a comfortable option for our little fur baby.

Jessie watched our five (yes, five!) dogs and our home over the Memorial Day weekend, and it was absolutely wonderful. She had great communication from start to finish—she kept us updated with messages and photos that put our minds totally at ease. The house looked fantastic when we got back—exactly as we left it (maybe even a little better?), and all five pups were happy, healthy, and clearly loved. Honestly, we were slightly worried they wouldn’t want us to come home! We felt 100% confident with them in her care and are so grateful for the peace of mind she gave us while we were away. If you’re lucky enough to book her, do it. Just don’t take our weekends 😉

Our pup and house was very well taken care of! The house was very clean when we got back.
