About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—growing up in a home full of fish, birds, cats, dogs, and rodents taught me early on that pets are family. I truly believe every animal deserves love, patience, and attentive care. Today, I share my home with my friendly dog Birdie, who loves meeting new furry friends and makes a great playmate. My two kids are also passionate animal lovers, and together we create a safe, warm, and pet-friendly environment. I’m experienced in administering medications, whether pills, drops, or topical treatments, and I’m happy to support pets with special needs. I also offer daily walks for exercise and enrichment, and I’m comfortable with crate training if it’s part of your routine. I work full-time during the week, but on my weekends off, I love spending my time caring for animals. My home is fully pet-friendly and thoughtfully pet-proofed to ensure a secure environment. I use baby gates to create designated pet areas, so dogs can have their own space or be kept out of certain rooms when needed. I also have a large, fully fenced backyard—perfect for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Fresh water is always available in multiple areas of the home to keep pets hydrated throughout the day. Whether your pet loves to run or relax, they’ll have a secure, comfortable, and caring space to enjoy.

About: Hi, I’m Ruby! I'm a Humane Society volunteer and I’ve been house sitting and taking care of animals for about six years. I’m a college student planning to study animal behavior and marine biology, and I’m using this opportunity to get more hands on experience with animals while saving up for school. I’ve cared for all kinds of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, chickens, goats, horses, birds, fish, and more, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of animals and care needs. I take pet care seriously and always do my best to follow routines and make animals feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m currently a college student and in the fall and spring have classes 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs) in the mornings and in the afternoons. I am very flexible other than that! About: I'm not just walking your dogs or checking on your cats; I provide a nurturing service by learning the personality of your pet, observing their behavior and relaying any unusual interactions. I cater to any special needs your pets may have. I have experience working with animals who were previously in abusive homes and now learning how to receive love, attention, and care. I grew up with 7 dogs and a cat. I spent a lot of my childhood rolling around on the ground with my dogs and talking to them as if they could understand what I was saying. I love animals and most of the time prefer their company over most. I love finding animals outside and talking to them. I have a very deep sensitivity when it comes to animals. I will always burry a dead animal that I find outside. I will even pull over while driving if I see a dead animal on the street so that I can move it and give it a burial. I would love to have an animal sanctuary someday where I take in all the animals and care for them until they are ready to be released. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and give them lots of love and affection. I have a very open and flexible schedule. I would like to have something consistent and routine but I am available for last minute needs if necessary. I care for my own cat as if she is my baby, and she acts very much like a baby. I sometimes need to hold her in one hand while I cook with the other. Pets, to me, are not property, they are part of the family and deserve to be treated with love, respect, and patience.

About: Happy, loving, patient and playful pupsitters who have experience working as kennel manager, dogsitter, and lifelong dog lovers. We love and care for all creatures big and small and happen to love dogs as though they were our own children (and they are.) My partner Jessie and I share all dog duties in our house. Someone is around the house every day of the week, as Jessie often works from home, and our two pups are always home. We strive to never leave our own pups alone for no more than 4 hours so there's always time and room for bathroom breaks. And if the weather is nice we leave the backyard door open for them to roam free (in a fenced area). It is the most ideal place for a dog to have room to move about, activities to entertain, and loving caretakers to help them live their best life. We have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to roam, along with healthy wildlife distractions, fun toys, plenty of snacks, and generous room inside the house for everyone to feel cozy, warm or cool, and always nurtured.

I have a fenced yard I can utilize if needed, but am a large proponent of utilizing the dog parks within the Madison area!
