About: I’ve been working at an animal hospital for almost a year. I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs, cats, and other exotic animals. I’ve also worked with their different sizes, ages, diets, medications, etc. I’ve got a dog and 3 cats currently. I also frequently pet sit for family and friends, often overnight or over the weekend. I love to go on neighborhood walks with my dog to make sure she gets her daily exercise in. Also playing outside and enjoying the nice weather. I’m available to let dogs go on as many potty breaks as they need! For my cats, I love playing with them and seeing all the different toys to make sure they never get bored. I’ve also done my fair share of cleaning, no matter the mess, I’ll clean it up! I am a college student with at most 3 classes a day. I can do early mornings and then evenings/afternoons. During school breaks, I’ll be available all day. There may be the occasional days where I’m busy or out of town, but more likely than not I will be free and not busy. I will most likely ask the pet’s owners what they prefer on things like going outside, for walks, and other daily routines. I will constantly be checking in on the pet and making sure they’re doing okay. If anything were to happen, I would immediately contact the owner to come up with an action plan and see what they would want to do, depending on the situation. I would make sure that the home is safe and that there is nothing that the pet could get into that would hurt them.
About: I have been animal sitting, walking, and boarding for five years. I have experience with all ages, medical needs, reactivity, grooming, shy/nervous animals, and can give medications. I have been fostering for Kentucky humane society since 2020 and have had a very wide range of different personalities and needs in my home. I work 5 days a week starting at 8am and get off anywhere between 2pm and no later than 4:30pm. I live in a spacious house where all dogs are leashed. We have parks all around for pups to get out and run on leash. I have the capability of keeping your animals separate from mine if need be. For pups staying with me they can be kenneled, put in a separate room, or left to roam while I am not at home. My personal dogs get 2-3 walks a day around the neighborhood and outings to nature parks when the weather permits it. About: My animal experience goes way back to childhood. At the age of 7 I started in 4h, learning about animal husbandry. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at the local riding stables. By high school, I was working at the local animal shelter, volunteering with local rescues and advancing my education in dog training, with hopes of getting into service dogs. She promptly communicates, is reliable, and most importantly, provides excellent, loving care for my cats. One of my cats will sometimes make a dash for the door and so I worry about this while I am away. I can trust Brittney will be very careful. That same cat needs thyroid medication applied topically in her ear, the cat is not a big fan of this. Brittney has handled this very well and gives her a treat after the med. My other cat is shy but comes out and interacts with Brittney. Brittney has consistently gone above and beyond, keeping an eye out for the safety of my home. I left before the garbage pick up and meant to ask Brittney to please bring the can up when she was here. I completely forgot to ask, but she noticed and took it to the back of the house for me.
