About: Hello! I'm Mimi, a former corporate communications professional turned full-time animal nanny. I have been around animals my whole life and previously owned mini dachshunds, Doodles and Wesley. I also grew up with a rescued barn cat who I had a special relationship with. I am very comfortable with both cats and dogs and love working to earn their trust. I am also a horse owner and find that cats and horses have very similar ways of communicating and make you work for their trust and like to test boundaries! I enjoy the challenge of non-verbal communication and I also have special skills in pet massage! No formal massage training but I have learned a lot from having my own dogs and horse. I am extremely responsible and gentle especially as I'm getting to know new animals. Safety and protection for your pet is my number one. I'm very detailed and will follow instructions and preferences for how your pet is cared for. I am available for drop-in potty break visits for cats and dogs, dog walking, as well as over night house sitting for the right clients. I'm excited to be part of the Rover network and connect with neighbors in my surrounding area of SE Aurora and Centennial. I am also open to other south metro areas based on your needs and my schedule/availability. I am doing pet/house sitting full-time and spend most of my free time with my horse in Parker. I enjoy being outdoors especially in the cooler months! I also enjoy doing yoga and spending time with close friends and family. I do not have any pets in my home at this time so I am open to keeping a small dog at my home for boarding - will discuss with clients as needed.

About: I have been a lover of dogs since I was a child. I relate well to dogs and they respond well to my positive energy and genuine interest in getting to know them. I have a caring and empathetic approach, whether doing a visit at your home, or taking your dog out for a walk. I won't just give them a bathroom break, I understand that your pooch needs to get some stimulation and exercise, and I also will also allow them to explore along the way, sniff things of interest and take their time. I feel like being tuned into your dog's needs and sensitivities goes a long way towards me having a good relationship with them and providing the best care possible. I work part time from home and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I am available during the week M-F any time between 7am - 8pm I am happy to work with whatever setup you have in your home. I can uncrate and crate your dog before and after my visit if you prefer, or make sure they are behind a gate before I leave if necessary. I can let your dog out into your yard and play with them, or take them for a leashed walk around your neighborhood.

About: As someone who has grown up with dogs, I understand how important it is to find the right sitter. I’ve had several years of experience on Rover, earning many repeat clients while living in Virginia Beach where I grew up. Now, living in Colorado and working from home for a tech company, I have the flexibility to give your dog plenty of attention and care. I love being outdoors, running, and hiking, so if your dog enjoys being active, they’ll have a great time with me! But if your pup prefers a more relaxed day indoors, I’m just as happy to play with them inside and make sure they’re comfortable and happy! I’m here to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is a very regular part of my routine. Working from home gives me the flexibility to be available 7 days a week and for extended stays. This means I can provide your dog with regular attention and care, whether they enjoy outdoor activities or prefer staying in. My schedule can easily accommodate their needs, ensuring they get the care and companionship they deserve while you’re away. I know how anxiety-inducing it can be for some animals when their people are away, so I’ll ensure they stick to their normal routine to keep nerves to a minimum. I'll always stick to their regular feeding and exercise schedules and will be attentive to their needs and any specific instructions you leave, from medication to preferred toys. My goal is to make sure your dog feels at ease and happy while you’re gone, maintaining a familiar environment and routine as much as possible.

About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood, so I'm comfortable with any size or personality. Their safety is non-negotiable — when I was in the Peace Corps and realized the environment wasn't safe for the dog I'd adopted, I sent him back to the U.S. rather than risk it. That's the same care I bring to every walk and every stay. I run regularly, so your dog gets an actual walk, not a lap around the block — they'll come home tired and happy. I also have my own dog, so walks might come with a buddy, if you're up for it. Pet care isn't something I fit in around my day — it's already part of it. I have open availability across mornings, afternoons, and evenings, so your dog's walk or visit isn't squeezed into a narrow window between other commitments — it's a real priority, not an afterthought. I also have my own dog, so daily walks, feeding schedules, and reading a dog's mood or energy level are already habits, not extra tasks. Your dog's care gets the same consistency mine does. I show up on time and stick to your dog's usual routine — same leash, same route, same pace, unless you'd like something different. I watch their energy and body language throughout, not just for safety, but to actually read what they need that day. Before I go, I make sure water's out and everything's left the way I found it. I also send a quick photo or update after the walk, so you know exactly how it went.
