For walks and exercise, I keep to the pet's normal schedule and pace, paying attention to their energy level and any physical limitations. Indoors, I spend time on play and companionship — not just the basic tasks — since many pets get anxious or lonely when their owner is gone, and a little extra attention goes a long way. I'm also mindful of the home itself: I make sure doors and gates are secured, clean up any messes right away, and leave the space as tidy as I found it. If I notice anything unusual — a change in appetite, behavior, or a health concern — I contact the owner right away and document it, along with photos or notes if needed. Before and after each visit, I send updates to the owner so they know their pet is safe, fed, and happy, which also gives them peace of mind while they're away.

I had a now 12 year old boxer mix named Ellie that we had raised since she was 4 months old, and I grew up with many dogs of many breeds around all the time. I recently moved back to Colorado from Charlotte and am looking forward to meeting the animals and people who live in this beautiful city! Since I just moved back to Colorado, I am currently not working, so I have all the time in the world! And I am happy to fill that time with animals! Most comfortable watching animals at your house because I am staying with family for a while, but I am happy to board with permission from said family.
