About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.

For additional peace of mind, we live just two miles from a highly respected veterinary clinic should an emergency ever arise.

About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid. I love animals, as they are the most loving and authentic little beings. I’ve always had dogs and have taken care of family/friends/neighbors’ dogs when needed. I offer boarding, walks, a fenced in yard and socialization with my children and my own pets. Your pup will be in good hands and loved! My household always has an adult home for walks or ability to go out in the yard at anytime. We pop in and out on sports practice days in the evenings and for games on the weekends. Never more than 2 hours at a time. Your dog's well-being and safety is my top priority. Anytime your dog goes on an outing (walk, hike, etc.), your dog will be wearing a GPS collar. Laima and Rémy are Canine Good Citizens (CGCs), Laima is an Intermediate Trick Dog, and nose work level 2, Rémy hold a mondioring brevet, and Lemmy is in training for both CGC and mondioring level 1! This was such a relief, especially since we’ve had a bad experience with a previous sitter who never sent updates.
