About: Do you have a reactive dog? Does your pup need someone that can reinforce what they are working on in training? Then I’m your girl! Having extensively trained a rescue shepherd which came to me highly reactive, there is nothing your dog can throw at me that I can’t handle! I am an engineer but am currently taking time off work to focus on my health after a Lupus Flare. So I am available mornings and afternoons or on weekends when I’m in town. I love to walk and love on your pets. Walking your babies is good for my health issues as well! I am experienced with all types of dogs- big, small, hyperactive, lazy, reactive, timid, aloof, and all the other personalities in between. My favorite part of being a Rover is customizing care to each dog’s individual needs. No two dogs are alike and I love getting to know what’s unique about your fur babies! I’m also a cat lady at heart and happy to checkin on your favorite felines too! I work a typical 9-5 so I am available for walks after 5 or on weekends. Walking your dog is one of my favorite parts of the day! I keep dogs on leashes at all times and separated from other dogs/humans. If you have a fenced backyard I will let your dog play off-leash while I am with them!

About: I was a surgical veterinarian assistant for 6 years. I have pet sat and walked dogs for many years as well. I have owned my own pets and can also do basic grooming including bathing, brushing, nail trimming and ear cleaning. I am home all day and would love to spend time taking care of animals. I am very comfortable with animals and would love to give them love and attention. I have a fenced in backyard. My dog Calvin is very friendly and up to date on all vaccines. I have 3 children who love animals but any animal we care for must be 100% dog and child friendly.

14. Stephanie A.

“Stephanie was such an attentive caretaker! Thanks for all the pictures by the way. Hazel loved it at your place, with all the toys and the pool, and places to play. It was very good for her to make friends and play with your dog Ellie as well! Thanks for being such a great dog sitter.”

15. Heidi W.

16. Catherine H.
“We have nothing but good things to say about Catherine! She genuinely cares for animals. She has taken our dog many times and loved him like her own. We can go away and know our dog is not only taken care of but loved.”

About: I've taken care of pets professionally since I was college-aged, worked in 2 kennels with additional care given via baths, nail trims, etc. Have also owned dogs and cats all throughout my life. Comfortable with all sizes. I work from home, so I'm available all day to take care of your pet! I have a 1 year old black Labrador who is so sweet and loves to play, so hopefully they can wear each other out! I have a fenced yard and a black Lab that is very sweet and friendly to keep your pet company! She's probably more excited to see them than I am! You can expect frequent potty breaks, administered medicine I'd needed, and lots of playing!

18. Kerri W.
“Kerri has watched our dog and cats several times while we traveled. She absolutely loves animals and makes sure they are comfortable while we are away. She’s always my first call when we need a pet sitter.”

19. Karen B.

About: Hello! My name is Kara. I am new to Rover. Very excited to embark;) on this new adventure. A little about me is that I grew up with all types of animals big and small on a 300 acre farm. I’ve had horses, cows, dogs, cats, lizards, and rodents throughout my existence. I always say I was raised by wolves because you couldn’t get me inside when I was a kid. I’ve even rehabbed deer, possums, rabbits, raccoons, and even a red tailed hawk! In this stage of my life I am a stay at home mom. So having local jobs that I can either bring my son to or the job can come to me is ideal. Please let me know if you need someone to watch your furbaby! I’m definitely reliable and will treat them as my own!:) I’m a stay at home mom so I am able to watch and care for any type of animals any day of the week. just let me know I live on a farm off the Appalachian Trail in Maryland. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but there are plenty of trails out back and hiking trails and parks around me. Obviously, if your dog can’t be off the leash, then I will walk them on a leash, but if they can, then I probably will just Take them back with a frisbee or ball and play:)
