About: I live in a I don’t just watch pets, I get to know them. From learning their quirky habits to keeping their routines steady, I treat every furry guest like my own. I focus on creating a calm, cozy, and genuinely loving environment, so your pet feels safe, understood, and totally at ease. With consistent communication, personalised care, and a whole lot of heart, I make sure your pet’s stay isn’t just stress-free—it’s something they actually enjoy. Pet care is naturally set into my daily and weekly routine. I schedule my day around feeding times, walks, play time, and check-ins to ensure every pet gets consistent care. Mornings and evenings are dedicated to exercise, enrichment, and cuddles, while afternoons include potty breaks, supervision, and rest time. My schedule is flexible and intentionally designed so I can give every animal the attention, and time they deserve. When pets stay in my home, I create a safe, supervised, and comforting environment set to their needs. I maintain clean spaces, provide cozy rest areas, and offer play time. I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, and preferred activities, so their stay feels familiar and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine uninterrupted. I handle feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, medication, playtime, and any specific instructions exactly as provided. I also respect the home environment by keeping everything tidy and secure. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on communication, safety, and reliable, compassionate care that helps pets feel calm, comfortable, and understood.
About: I am a lifelong pet lover whoI started pet sitting for friends & family - cats and dogs - five years ago and I discovered that I really enjoyed it. I've offered services such as drop ins, daily feedings (multiple times if necessary), cleaning litter boxes, and so on. I am great at playing ball with dogs who love chasing balls; I also play with kitties who like playing with toys. If your pet is shy I sit quietly in the floor and let them come to me. I understand that it could take a visit or two for them to warm up to a stranger. I have a flexible schedule and am available seven days a week from morning hours, beginning at 6am through late evening with services stopping at 10pm. I always begin with a meet-and-greet so I can get to know your fur baby (or babies!)—their routines, preferences, quirks, and any special needs. This lets me tailor their care so it feels familiar, comforting, and stress-free. When I’m caring for your pets in your home, they get to stay in the comfort and safety of their own surroundings, which helps keep their routine steady and their anxiety low. I provide attentive, loving care that includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks/litter care, medication (if needed), exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I follow your instructions exactly as you lay them out so everything feels just right for them. No matter the service, your pets are treated like family—with love, patience, connection, and attention to every detail.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is how attentive, patient, and dependable I am with every pet I care for. I have experience caring for pets with different personalities and energy levels, and I make sure each one feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m great at keeping routines consistent, encouraging positive behavior, and giving pets plenty of playtime, attention, and affection. I’m also very observant and quick to notice changes in behavior or mood so pets always receive the best care possible. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel completely comfortable and stress-free! I currently works a job from 9-3. So, if discussed, I can determine if I can fit a morning stop into my schedule but I’m definitely available after 3pm M-F. Sat/Sun 10am till TBD. I care for pets with patience, consistency, and lots of attention so they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I previously had a dog who sadly passed away after 13 years, which gave me a lot of experience and love for caring for animals through every stage of life. I currently have a poodle and a doodle who have had puppies together, and I also have two of their puppies, so I’m very familiar with caring for multiple dogs with different personalities and energy levels.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 15 years. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets while they are on weekend getaway or week long vacations. Our dog Stella loves to have other dog friends to hang around with. My wife and I both work from home and are able to take extra care of your dog during the day and at night our little ones once home from school love to play with the dogs. We are able to walk your dog two or three times a day during the work week and four or five times on the weekends along with letting the dogs play outside in the backyard that is fenced in and private. We interact with our dog each and every day, she typically follows us around the house and is very calm and quiet. The kids love to interact with her and throw the ball to her outside.

About: I have been caring for dogs of all sizes and ages for the past 20 years. I have always used a very simple approach to dog sitting. A tired dog that is engaged is easy to take care of. My property has lots of things that will keep your dog curious and entertained. I have squirrels that run around in the trees and moles that leave chutes in the ground. Outside my fence you will often see rabbits, deer and the occasional opossum. Your dog will love the new smells and occasional sightings of these animals. For physical activity I have plenty of long stretches for play and ball chasing as well as some basic agility obstacles your dog may find interesting. My semi wooded lot has lots of sticks to chew on. Your pet will be included in walks around the neighborhood and my local park. Having recently retired from corporate America I am looking for things to keep me busy and make use of my love of pets and experience caring for them. I also recently lost my dog to cancer and while I am not quite ready to adopt a new dog I miss having one around. I do not have a 9-5 so except for the occasional errand I will be around for your pet full time. I take the responsibility of caring for your dog very seriously. I attach a tracking tag to the collar of every dog in my care as well as an extra layer of security. Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have and rest assured you will not regret booking me for any of your pet needs. I am retired so with the exception of an errand I will be available to your pet full time. Pets are allowed on my furniture and bed. Please advise if this is a behavioral you are trying to discourage! Your pet will enjoy plenty of time outside and walks around my neighborhood and local park. I have a fenced in wooded acre. Your pet will be given free range of my home, but I will crate or contain them when I am away for their protection. I currently have no pets so your dog will receive my full attention.

About: I've taken care of different breeds of dogs up to approximately 40 lbs. This has included grooming, administering medication, walking, and light training. I have taken a training class at the Humane Society for dog care. I have also taken care of horses including grooming and training for barrel racing and showing. I have taken care of bunny rabbits up to 19 rabbits at a time. I am flexible in my availability. Although I prefer part-time, I would be willing to stay with pets or have pets stay with me full time for specific periods of time for one month intervals. In special situations, I would consider longer intervals (to be determined on a case by case basis). I have ample space to walk dogs on my nearly 3/4 acre rural property which includes grassy and wooded areas. At this time, my flexible schedule allows me to spend plenty of time devoted to provide love and care for your dog. Currently, I do not have a dog myself. However, I have had the pleasure of owning dogs in the past. Now I am enjoying caring for my 11 year old pet rabbit Zahara.

About: I have extensive dog sitting experience and a genuine love for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies, laid-back seniors, anxious dogs who need extra patience, and everything in between. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away, and I always strive to create a calm, caring environment for them. I’m experienced with walks, feeding routines, playtime, crate routines, administering basic medications if needed, and giving dogs the attention and affection they deserve. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique needs and personality, whether that means lots of exercise and play or quiet companionship and reassurance. My goal is always to make both pets and owners feel completely at ease. I work full-time, but I carefully plan pet care around my schedule to ensure every pet receives attentive, dependable care and plenty of love. I’m very organized with my routine and make time for walks, feeding schedules, playtime, check-ins, and quality attention before and after work, as well as throughout evenings and weekends. Because I genuinely enjoy caring for animals, pet sitting is something I intentionally make space for in my life — not something rushed or treated as an afterthought. I’m committed to making pets feel comfortable, cared for, and secure while keeping owners updated and reassured along the way. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine and create a calm, comfortable environment while their owners are away. About: I wasn’t the kind to baby sit when i was younger. I always wanted to dog sit. Neighbors, family, and friends counted on me to take good care of their fur babies. Now that I’m older i work at a doggy day camp and couldn’t ask for a better job. I have taken care from puppies to senior dogs. I know how to administer medication, and feed per your instructions. You can also trust me to enter your house, let them out of a crate if need be and walk them. Does your fur baby need a bath after a long walk and play with me? I got you! I have 4 dogs of my own from as small as a Brittany spaniel to as big as Great Danes. You can trust me to handle your dog professionally and like they are part of my own pack. I work at clover vet 8:45-6 mondays, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8-12 every other Wednesday. Willing to work anything out ! After work i like to always let my babies out for a little while first but then I’m pretty much available. I can safely enter your house any way you like wether it’s a key or code. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
