“I can't say enough positive things about my and my pup's experience with Brad. 1. Booking/Communication - From the initial booking, Brad was communicative and responsive ensuring that I would feel comfortable even before I dropped my pup off. 2. Drop off - At drop-off, Brad was extremely attentive to understand the unique needs of my pup especially as it pertained to his medication. In my moving around, I forgot to bring something my pup needed. Brad was extremely helpful in getting it resolved so that my pup's stay would be just fine. Additionally, Brad went out of his way to ask how, and what frequency, I wanted to be updated on my pup's stay. 3. Stay - My pup had a fantastic time staying with Brad and having pup siblings at Brad's house. I'm confident of this not only because, true to his word, Brad was not only communicative about what was going on each day (for the entire ~3wk stay), but he also sent pictures and videos with funny notes! I could see that my dog was active not only outside but inside the home, was playing well with the other dogs, and was being loved and snuggled daily. 4. Pick-up - The day of pick-up, my flight was delayed impacting my ability to pick-up my pup on time. Brad was completely understanding and was communicative to ensure that I had no worries. When I arrived to pick up my pup, all of the things I sent with my pup came home in great condition AND Brad sent me home with a treat that he had graciously been giving my pup as well! I could tell my pup was excited to go home but was sad to leave Brad and his new friends! Overall, we will DEFINITELY use Brad again and recommend him to anyone that is looking for someone to treat their pup like family when they have to go away. Thanks again, Brad!”

We have 5 cats, including two bonded pairs, and 2 with special needs. We have training experience for dogs as well. We have a special needs dog, and have been proud pet parents of two senior dogs for 5 years. We have experience from puppies to hospice care. We are well adept with different training and dietary needs, and love dog walks. Our large fenced in backyard (half an acre) and two catios give our pets plenty of space to explore. We also have invisble fence for the front yard. We are skilled at grooming and nail trimming and dog teeth brushing, as well as giving medication. We love to spoil our pets; so we have a multitude of pet sofas, dog beds, cat trees, and a comfy outdoor dog house. And we love to cuddle all pets, so bed snuggles are encouraged. However, we have crate trained and support that as well! We also work well with cat backpacks and harness trained cats! Since we are a couple and I am a stay at home mom with a large car, your pets will be doted on and given any adventures you’re comfortable with. We even have doggy seatbelts! I'm a stay at home mom and my husband works from home part time, so we have ample time to take care of your fur babies. We have a fenced-in yard and 3 friendly dogs for your dogs to play with, as well as a screened-in deck (that is really a catio) and an upstairs screened-in catio for any feline guests. We also have an invisible fence for the front yard, to make sure everyone is safes We have ample space and time for supervised fun. In a client’s home, we like to stick to the routine to which an animal is most accustomed to in order to minimize disruptions and stress. That being said, we are more than willing to give ample enrichment via new park walks, frisbee throwing or training exercises. We are also skilled at grooming dogs and cats, including nail clippings, if that is an interest. We love to give cuddles and share our bed and couch, but we have crate trained before and will do whatever is best for your pet. Special dietary issues are no concern, as we already deal with daily in our home.
About: I work from home and have one adult dog - Bandit (70lbs). He is mellow, and readily give up toys and beds to newcomers, and has had great fun with new friends, here and at his sitter's house when I travel. Your dog will enjoy a large fenced yard with lots of room to run, dig, play fetch, chase squirrels, etc. With a morning walk in the neighborhood, then naps and playtime throughout the day, I will keep your high-energy dog entertained, and provide a calm and safe environment for resting. If your dog prefers to be in a kennel, I have one available (my dog does NOT like the kennel, at all, so I only offer it as a place for your dog to nest.) I will send tons of pictures (or just a few, if you prefer) while you are away, so you can be assured that your dog is happy and relaxed. I start each day around 7am with a walk with Bandit, and your dog is welcome to join us for a good sniffing walk to kick things off. After we get back, Bandit eats his breakfast and usually relaxes inside, especially in the summer when he prefers the A/C. Midday, he may sun himself in the backyard for a bit, but most of the time he hangs out inside. While I’m working, the dogs settle around my desk, either watching out the window or napping, and they get treats throughout the day. When the weather is cooler, we spend time on the screened‑in porch enjoying the breeze and watching the birds and squirrels. Evenings are quiet and relaxed, and end with a nightly dental bone at bedtime, which is typically around 9pm.

After I get off of work I typically care for my own pets before relaxing myself. I like to follow instructions provided by the owner. I typically prefer to give pets their respective space unless they show to be needy with affection or hyperactive and need an outlet for their energy via playtime!

About: I’ve had the opportunity to take care of dogs that have hearing, vision, and temperament problems. I’ve never had an issue not being able to walk a dog. And if you haven’t ordered dog, I will have no issue helping the dog get stepped or into a car if needed. I love all dogs and I personally own a large dog and a medium sized dog. I’m currently work full-time so I won’t be completely available all the time, but I’ll make time for your pups. But I’m a pretty flexible person. I don’t offer for the animals to be kept at my house. If I were to have a dog stay at my home or if I had to go to a clients home, I would just make sure to have all of my things together as well as ground rules with the owner.

About: Husband & wife team that has dogs, cats & chickens on over a half acre. We love animals & can't wait to love on your fur baby! We have 5 cats, including two bonded pairs, and 2 with special needs. We have training experience for dogs as well. We have a special needs dog, and have been proud pet parents of two senior dogs for 5 years. We have experience from puppies to hospice care. We are well adept with different training and dietary needs, and love dog walks. Our large fenced in backyard (half an acre) and two catios give our pets plenty of space to explore. We also have invisble fence for the front yard. We are skilled at grooming and nail trimming and dog teeth brushing, as well as giving medication. We love to spoil our pets; so we have a multitude of pet sofas, dog beds, cat trees, and a comfy outdoor dog house. And we love to cuddle all pets, so bed snuggles are encouraged. However, we have crate trained and support that as well! We also work well with cat backpacks and harness trained cats! Since we are a couple and I am a stay at home mom with a large car, your pets will be doted on and given any adventures you’re comfortable with. We even have doggy seatbelts! I'm a stay at home mom and my husband works from home part time, so we have ample time to take care of your fur babies. We have a fenced-in yard and 3 friendly dogs for your dogs to play with, as well as a screened-in deck (that is really a catio) and an upstairs screened-in catio for any feline guests. We also have an invisible fence for the front yard, to make sure everyone is safes We have ample space and time for supervised fun. In a client’s home, we like to stick to the routine to which an animal is most accustomed to in order to minimize disruptions and stress. That being said, we are more than willing to give ample enrichment via new park walks, frisbee throwing or training exercises. We are also skilled at grooming dogs and cats, including nail clippings, if that is an interest. We love to give cuddles and share our bed and couch, but we have crate trained before and will do whatever is best for your pet. Special dietary issues are no concern, as we already deal with daily in our home.

About: I have lived on a farm and owned pets my whole life! I love animals and I'm very accustomed to taking care of them. I also occasionally house-sit and pet-sit for close friends and family! I am currently a part time college student in Lynchburg and I only have a residential class one day a week. I do work part time as a server so some days I might have to take care of your pet until I go to work in the afternoon and then return in the evening. Dog/house sitting works better for me because I live on a farm with lots of other animals, which can make it tricky to keep other pets in the house.

I love the outdoors and have no problem spending plenty of time outside running around playing catch!
