“Lupita is my new hero! My sitter fell through last minute and I contacted Lupita on Dec. 29 about watching my cat Dec. 31-Jan. 2- a tall order. She not only responded immediately, but came over that evening in a torrential downpour for a meet-and-greet. Violet took to her right away and I was able to go out of town without worrying. Lupita send daily updates/correspondence and I came home to a happy cat and clean house (I have yet to ever find another sitter who actually does a decent job cleaning the litter box and cleaning up scattered litter). I'll definitely hire Lupita again and highly recommend her!”

About: I worked as a full-time dog walker with a small company in San Francisco for 5+ years and am looking to expand my love for animals to Santa Cruz! I was trusted with the keys/codes to hundreds of families homes and, driving in a panel van, picked up around 8-13 dogs at a time to bring them to an off leash dog park for hour long walks. I have worked with all kinds of dogs; puppies, senior dogs, and dogs who require extra care. Eg. Separation anxiety, difficult leash/socialization manors, and dogs with special needs/diets. I would absolutely love to take care of your good boys/girls, so long as you don't mind the excessive photos I may take/send while they're under my watch! 😉 Any Weekday or weekends, Anytime! I recently relocated to Santa Cruz so at this moment in time I have nearly full availability! I would prefer to keep walks between 10am-8pm, but very flexible. I have 7+ years of experience in dog care, including working at a boarding facility with 20+ dogs at a time, so I am very confident and capable of making snap decisions under pressure if/when necessary. Also more than happy to help with any basic training/ recall training needed!

About: I’m an experienced pet owner and have cared for my own dog for 13 years now. Along with dogs I have owned/cared for cats, rats, and lizards. I have a large vehicle which has easy transportation for bigger dogs. I want you to be sure that your furry loved one and your home is being taken care of in the safest and best way possible for you. I am a full time worker and van-lifer. My home is on wheels which makes it easy to move around to meet your home sitting needs. My normal work week is Monday-Friday in Capitola. I’m not able to host animals in my home. About: I took care of dogs since I was 8. My family taught me how to make sure the dogs are fed, given water, administering oral medications, walking; etc. I also house trained my current dog. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenary of free time on my plate. I usually work in the evenings. Sometimes I get called to work when needed I take my dog out for 30-45 minute walk twice a day, gave her chew brush biscuit after each walking sessions. I checked her bowl once or twice a day to ensure her water and foods are there for her to eat. I also brush Claire’s hair once a day.

About: I grew up with 2-3 cats in my home, began cat sitting for neighbors as a young teen, and knew that I wanted to adopt my own as soon as I lived off campus at BU. (I now have two cats of my own!) I identify as a self-proclaimed cat whisperer, and love when a less friendly cat comes out of its shell with me. I have experience giving medication to cats, and experience helping raise cats from 6 weeks old. I worked at a doggy daycare in NYC helping care for dogs of all sizes and ages, and feel comfortable and confident around animals of a variety of temperaments. I'm a freelance actor, and have a remote marketing job, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule for my own pets and those I help care for. I have two cats of my own, so can only care for pets in your/their home.
