About: I'm happy to be on rover! I enjoy caring for dogs, providing a loving environment, and supporting them in having a great stay. I particularly enjoy caring for medium to large dogs. I previously used Rover to find pet sitters for my Labrador, who was my dear companion until he passed in 2026. I've had great experiences with rover and would love to give back by being a sitter now. I know what it's like to leave your fur baby with someone else, and I'd be honored to care for your companion like I did mine. I work mostly online and go into the office some days each week for a few hours. So, I will be home and with your pup most the whole time. I only take one doggy at a time to give specialized care for your companion. I have a fenced yard and 1/4 acre of space. The dog is welcome on the couch, which I have a cover for. I can let your pup out consistently and take them on walks as needed.

About: I love all kinds of animals! My first cat followed me home in kindergarten, and I got my first dog at 11. I nursed her through cancer during college and she died in my arms in 2022. I currently have 6 pets (5 rescues) — 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 rabbits! I spend my free time training them, loving them, and proving enrichment. I have plenty of experience from the puppy age to senior care, and everything in between. I work full time Monday through Friday, but am free on the weekends to stay home with your pups! I have plenty of time for dog walking & play. I have a large fenced yard, and a cozy house for your pets to stay. There is plenty of room to play with or stay away from the other small animals in my home.

One of the reasons why I initially chose Sara, was the experience she listed as working in a veterinary's office and the fact that she put together a very thorough bio describing her background in working with animals. I was initially considering a kennel in Arroyo Grande but was concerned that being in a large kennel environment would be hard on a senior dog like my Kona. With Sara's veterinary experience, she felt that a quieter home environment would be easier on a senior dog, without me bringing up this concern of mine. About: I like to walk the dogs daily around the Atascadero Lake. I have a decent size fenced backyard with room to run and use my poop scooper daily. I am retired and looking for things to do during the week (mon-Fri) to fill my days. I have always loved the company of dogs and love to take them on daily walks. I have a dog bed in my bedroom, where your dog would sleep at night. The dogs water bowl is always kept clean and fresh. The dogs would always be welcome to hang out in the house with me, too.

About: Hello! I am an experienced dog owner, sitter, and walker with a deep love for dogs and animals. I have one dog of my own, Otis (5 years old, terrier mix). I grew up with animals since I can remember and have always loved animals of all kinds. I am friendly, caring, gentle, observant, and strong/assertive when necessary to ensure animal safety. Otis and I have hosted animals of all different personalities successfully. We would love to have your lil doggo with us soon :) I am available most days, morning to evening. Weekends I am a bit more available, but usually have flexibility. I can make adjustments with a day notice typically. I have experience training my own animals and have seen big progress with behavioral challenges. I know how to work with different personalities and ensure safety. I keep dogs on leashes and allow for appropriate introductions. I also have a big backyard that is fenced in.
